Not that I liked the song much before, but I just cabt listen to the original version anymore without wishing it was DC instead. It is not often highlighted as clearly as here, but Dami is a lead dancer, and rightfully so! People forget that JiU and Dami are lead dancers and can serve hard. Dami in Havana is definitely a problem and tbh she's only gotten worse. I was gonna pass out when Dami did a body roll in the Esquire video for BEcause. The thing about Dami is that her being really cute is also too much. In the Palette special clip she's especially adorable! SuA...is a problem and I wouldn't have it any other way. 🤷🏾♀️😂 Sir Austin actually made me realize that SuA was my bias because he was always gushing about her in his early videos and I was like "Holy shit, he's right!!". I should warn you that SuA is on another level in the Relay dance videos for Abracadabra and Odd Eye.

It was a "big thing" back then that Dreamcatcher never changes pronouns. By the time Dami and SuA put together "Havana," I think the group was sure that this sort of content would not lose them any fans. "Taki Taki" is a very similar vibe to Havana, though it's very short, so you might survive it. (*the other early clip is Yoohyeon's "Secret Love Song" cover, which is plainly gorgeous)
