finally a backrack install on a rail setup for a Taco. I had wondered if there was a no drill solution for trucks with rail setup and there is! Nice video, thanks! I've got mine ordered. I went original backrack model since I'm ordering primarily for being able to have atv in my bed (longer 6ft bed). Part #BKR-15010 (backrack) & Part #BKR-30327 (mounting kit for beds w/rail setup)

I agree that it's very hard to get the bolts started if the nut plates are already in the rails. In my case (2022 Tacoma), I could not put the nuts loosely on the bracket beforehand because the design of the tailgate area is slightly different and did not allow me to get the unit slid into the rail in a flush orientation. The solution was to cut a long, skinny piece off the box and put it in the rail behind the nut plates. That pushes them out enough that the bolts can find them and get started. Other than that, 'what he said' in the video. (And if BackRack is listening, work on the bolt/nutplate design a little!)

Is the rack fairly solid mounted to that rail? Always loved my back racks on my other trucks but they bolted through the bed rail and were solid as a rock. Thanks in advance
