Finally, someone who own's the land their tiny home sits on! The majority of these video's are of people talking about freedom, yet they pay lot rent (which will increase), just like a mobile home park, or they are beholden to family/friends, who own the land that their tiny is on. Happy to see this lady has the home and land paid for, and the security of never having to move her tiny. She has true freedom, a lovely home, and low monthly bill's.
I live on an intentionally built Age 55+ mobile home park. All the mobile homes are on top of a crawl space, so no stairs. The rent includes water and trash. We don’t own the land but we own the mobile home. We pay a ground rent. There are strict standards surrounding what you can and cannot do to ensure you get along with your neighbors living so close together. Over the past 8 years I have lived here the price of owning the mobile home has trebled and there is a long waiting list. Her tiny home community will have a probably expensive HOA which cover ground maintenance and this can go up without limit. Management can change and things can go south. So I don’t think “owning” your own tiny plot of land in this situation is of any benefit. I love living in here because of the community.
Sometimes you just feel so darn happy for someone who seems to be living in such happiness and peace and has a great outlook on life. Long may that continue for this gorgeous lady
This is one of my favorite tiny homes I have seen. Full kitchen, full bathroom, decent size living there and you can stand up in the bedroom, no hunching over in a loft bedroom.
Her tiny home is beautiful. Her lifestyle inspires me. She does art, exercises within her ability and enjoys her pup, family and neighbors. Sail on Miss Peggy!
Her tiny home is hers that gives her independence, as she said. She can decorate as she wishes, nap or exercise, or paint, etc..she is her own woman and she is doing wonderful not needing nursing care or constant supervision, she can have a meal of her own choice. I adore her, her independence, and positive attitude. I love the way she wants to hold on to her heritage. God bless her and her years to come
Yes God richly bless her 🙏. She is a precious ❤️ young woman. I would love to have a tiny house 🏠 just like this one. It is beautiful and very roomy I think. Hope you have many more years in your beautiful home 🏡 ❤️ 💕 💛
Peggy’s tiny home is perfect for her. It’s easy and inexpensive to maintain. Her daughter isn’t far away from and she’s made friends so she can sail her RC sailboat. Independence is important for older people with health issues. So glad to see she’s enjoying her life.
What a wonderful lady. One thing that’s not tiny is her HEART! What a cute doggy. I love the one level, that is what I want. I love her place the layout is perfect.
That's wonderful how Peggy is still able to enjoy living independently at 79 years of age and enjoy sailing via her "Sails of Change" with a little help from her friends. Her tiny home is a good fit , with its places for her to hang onto so she can maintain her balance. I'm 70 yrs old and like Peggy I also have balance issues, so I have physical therapy for balance and strength maintenance. I also enjoy cycling on my exercise bike while watching movies on TH-cam. Her cute little dog is a great companion, as are her neighbors and daughter. Peggy is a lovely, sweet 79 yr old and it was a pleasure to get to know her. Jenny
She makes aging seem less daunting. It can't be easy yet she's not complaining. Her beautiful home is testimony to her indomitable spirit..A fine example of living on one's own terms.
Aww such a sweet woman. I'm so happy she's loving her life at 79 and that she found ways to live independently and still enjoy her hobbies and passions in ways she is still able to now. I think she's a lot smarter than she gives herself credit for. She seems as if she's a genuinely likeable person, good energy, I bet a lot of people love her.❤
This is something I could live in. One level living would be great. 12 ft. wide makes such a difference too. The kitchen is so spacious and well designed. The bathroom is off a hallway, so it feels more separate than some tiny homes. Very nice!
I feel the same as you, plus that extra bit of space means you are not falling over yourself moving things to find other things that are stashed away somewhere, if you know what I mean. Great for her balance issues - she has space and yet everything to hand. Gosh, that was a long winded way of saying you make a good point, haha!
I'm surprised she doesn't have a walk-in shower. Tubs are dangerous at her age. I am 71 and have used a walk-in shower with a large plastic bench since 2017.
Dear lord plz allow me to live a inkling of this beautiful lady's life when and IF I get to her age. Amen ! I almost cried happy tears from hearing her story. She is happy . What an inspiration! I am 71 and my husband is 70 and we are building our own tiny home (with the help of family and friends). It will be 12' x 34', with a single slop roof. I hope we can live in it a long time. Eventually we may have to connect to the power at the road (when we are up in age) but right now it's planned to be completely off-grid. We are currently living in a tiny-house-on-wheels (also off-grid) on the property while we build our permanent place on this land we purchased 2 years ago.
What a sweet person and such a great tiny house. This size - 12-foot wide, and first floor bedroom plus bathroom with tub - just makes this home much more suitable and practical for long term living. I love the big kitchen island and front porch. Buffy the tiny dog really makes it wonderful too. I especially love her attitude. It’s hard to give up activities that brought you joy, but she has made the best of it with her tiny sail boat. Thank you for sharing your great home and life. Blessings! 🙏🏻💗👼🏻✝️🏡🐾

I would want a little garden if I could still do it. she has made aging so beautiful and I love how happy she is there. I love seeing her so thoroughly happy living and painting and the layout actually makes it look bigger than some with the loft. but I wonder if there is a way to make some loft storage type area but it might not be able to be used. I'm guessing she has a little shed outside or no. I think the downsizing is what I'm thinking is the challenge but her place is so beautiful thank you so much for sharing. I'm wondering how things could go for my future. I definitely want to have independence and something perfectly suited. great job😊❤❤🎉
Yes, and her positive attitude about having to give up her mother's things is inspiring. I'm a sentimental person and that would be hard for me too, but it was worth it. After Peggy passes on to the next life, those things would have probably been sold then anyway. I love her home and it is perfect for her and Buffy.
She's "part of Orlando", where I live! I loved her as a tour guide and her home is beautiful. I was thrilled to see that someone was able to convert some land into four tiny homes! That is exactly what I wanted to see in our area. Now, we just need more of them!
I love the design of your tiny house. You have such a positive spirit despite your physical constraints. I hope you enjoy many many years of joy in your tiny home
This is a delightful woman and a delightful tiny home. Perfect for one person . I could easily live alone in this place . So cozy and everything one needs !
You and your furry friend are so beautiful. I love what you have done with your house.. light and airy! So blessed to have your wonderful daughter close by😊
Thank you for such a lovely tour. When you spoke about giving up many of your antiques and such, I teared up because I love my antiques and such, which would be hard to give up. I’m 75 and my house is too large for me already, so I know I will have to scale down to a smaller place very soon.
She gives me hope. I too am a nurse. Social security and a little bit of investments is all I’ll have too. Yeah, it’s been about other people and not always me.
Maybe the best design I've seen so far. The only change I'd make is to the porch by having it as wide as the house itself and making it a few feet longer if possible. The older you get the more you need things on one level and this design comes through.
She is so pure of heart. Such a beautiful soul. Everything around her might be tiny but her heart is as big as the sky! What a beautiful lady. I wish her the best of health and a very long and happy life! 💜

So precious this woman and so nice to have her daughter living close by. Lovely video! I wish her the best. I too live in a tiny home and own the land. HOA is only $384/yr. Hardly any property tax but mine is much smaller. I have a lovely backyard. I love living tiny
This beautiful woman is SO full of life and wisdom. She's been through SO much and yet she remains so positive-it just glows around her. I could watch her paint and listen to her talk all day. Her daughter should help her start a TH-cam channel - and she could film herself painting. She's so chill-she's like the female version of Bob Ross. I really appreciated her talking about having to let go of her familial home and all of the beautiful heirloom furniture. This is something that every single one of us has to deal with as we age---and the gracious way that she dealt with it-made me want to hug her and say "I know, I know!" Her little dog is so gorgeous ❤ Thank you for finding this tiny home on a foundation to share with us. The price almost made me faint but I guess she's somewhere which a HCOL.Have a great week everyone.
I'm very happy for her. She seems like such a nice person and she has a great attitude. It is also such a great alternative to paying for assisted living. Because she owns it, her daughter can sell it after she's gone, and I am sure another older person would love to have it. She would have no trouble selling it.
You and Buffy make a great team living in your very own tiny house (which is lovely, by the way)! I like that you gave your own little plot of land and that your neighbors aren't right on top of you. ❤️
I want this beautiful lady for a friend! She's lovely. I can only imagine the pain of parting with her family home and the antiques that were her life. She's so courageous, positivity personified, and absolutely inspiring. ❤ And I love her tiny home & that the builder was so responsive.

💯agreed!
Where is this in Oviedo? I live behind the new Publix, across from Sprouts, and would love to take a tour!
Fabulous lady, lovely house and great that her tiny house is on her land. Hats off to her. No way does she look her age.❤
What a doll! Love this lady!
She is the sweetest! 💗
❤
This woman is so happy. You can see it. I'm glad she can be independent and do what she wants at her age. Good for her!! Her tiny house is beautiful!!

Perfect home for the two! The Yorkie is precious 💞
What a sweet lady❤
I love the design of your tiny house. You have such a positive spirit despite your physical constraints. I hope you enjoy many many years of joy in your tiny home
This is a delightful woman and a delightful tiny home. Perfect for one person . I could easily live alone in this place . So cozy and everything one needs !
You and your furry friend are so beautiful. I love what you have done with your house.. light and airy!
So blessed to have your wonderful daughter close by😊
We are best pals!❤
A lovely tiny home, lovely lady and her dear little dog
I absolutely love this lady. And her home is beautiful. And her dog is so adorable. God Bless her.
Thank you for such a lovely tour. When you spoke about giving up many of your antiques and such, I teared up because I love my antiques and such, which would be hard to give up. I’m 75 and my house is too large for me already, so I know I will have to scale down to a smaller place very soon.
Such a beautiful soul! Stay happy and healthy
🙌💕
❤
I'm 71 and my dream is tiny house living. I would love to speak with her. I'm in awe! Great going for her.
❤
She gives me hope. I too am a nurse. Social security and a little bit of investments is all I’ll have too. Yeah, it’s been about other people and not always me.
Maybe the best design I've seen so far. The only change I'd make is to the porch by having it as wide as the house itself and making it a few feet longer if possible. The older you get the more you need things on one level and this design comes through.
Love her home and love her attitude. So happy she can live in her own home and enjoy her hobbies.
She is so pure of heart. Such a beautiful soul. Everything around her might be tiny but her heart is as big as the sky! What a beautiful lady. I wish her the best of health and a very long and happy life! 💜
What a fabulous lady. These tiny homes would make a great retirement village
That's a great idea!! I would definitely live there..
@@deborahgallagher9976 a little gated village were they could have two homes put together as a little community hub too for things like book club, etc and an on site support worker to check in on them to see if they need any extra help to maintain their independence. I would definitely live there 😀
So precious this woman and so nice to have her daughter living close by.
This is something that every single one of us has to deal with as we age---and the gracious way that she dealt with it-made me want to hug her and say "I know, I know!" Her little dog is so gorgeous ❤
Thank you for finding this tiny home on a foundation to share with us. The price almost made me faint but I guess she's somewhere which a HCOL.Have a great week everyone.
She has set her anchor down in a beautiful place,so sweet❤
This is the perfect tiny home for aging in place. Cities need to update zoning to allow for smaller slab built homes, which is perfect for all ages.
What a sweet lady! I'm so glad knowing she loves continuing to live her life after simplifying it! Inspirational!
By the end I was crying. She’s so sweet.
This is wonderful!! Love her dog: what a beautiful little animal!!❤
This woman is my favorite person! How inspiring! ❤
I want this beautiful lady for a friend! She's lovely. I can only imagine the pain of parting with her family home and the antiques that were her life. She's so courageous, positivity personified, and absolutely inspiring. ❤ And I love her tiny home & that the builder was so responsive.
What a lovely lady and she has the sweetest attitude about her life. She's so beautiful too. Great video y'all and love the way you did the sponsor spot ha ha ha🤣. The bedroom one y'all did for the mattress is still my fav, y'all are so crazy, love it. Thanks and God bless you guys and your new place.
