I am a single 67 year old woman and I just finished building my 24x32 Pole Frame cabin. My cost were $27,000 for a 2.5 acre lot on a lake then I spent $24,000 on my Pole Frame shed. Next I took 4 years to finish out the interior with help from family. Taking my time I was able to source and save so much. My total cost with land, 2bd, 1 bath home and garage $114,000.00. I am debt free.
This lady knows the secret to happiness. Simplify and minmize. I'm alone, retired and own a 2,300 sq ft home surrounded by neighbors. It's so much upkeep. I care more about my outdoor surroundings, more than indoor. I'm considering buying acreage on a mountaintop. A tiny home like this could be just the ticket. Love this model. Thank you for sharing your beautiful little shangrila in the mountains.
@@grammygoes-erinlawless8316 It's so stylish! she's so well spoken and composed and a planner. Another great tiny home, tastefully decorated and comfortable. In fact, the decor is right up my alley -- the stain glass lamps, the floral, quilted bedding, the art, books, etc. I could move right in! 😊💗
I LOVE it all, especially the chandelier! I would buy a set of battery-operated fairy lights to weave through it. They come with a remote control and the wire is so thin you will barely see it. I have watched so many tiny home tours but this is my favorite tiny house of all time !!!!
This is one of the nicest tiny homes I have ever seen. The owner (who is a lovely lady) has really thought things out and because of that has made excellent choices. I could live here!

Great tiny home. I buying one in 2 years and I worried about an upstairs because of health issues but this one is great with the railing and it gives storage and room for my two grandkids. 😊
Great job 👏 Beautiful place 😍 In 2011, I went from 4000sq to 1800sq. In 2018, I sold everything boats, houses... Bought a 1950 beach house, 600sq, for $84,000 cash. No mortgage is key!! ✌️
I’d love to buy that ford transit! I want a mobile home so bad. I’m a 56 yr old woman in remission from stage 4 cancer and I’d love to go traveling while I can. You have such an amazing spirit, beautiful heart and lovely home ❤️. I’ve saved this video ✌️
Oh, My Goodness! Erin's home is beautiful (and she seems like a very cool person). Every space made me say "Oh, I love that!!" The van is fantastic too! Enjoy in good health, Erin 😃
I love the aesthetics of this home. I'm not a fan of olive green, but the interior is gorgeous. The white color makes it look so spacious. I would be worried about living in Southern California with the increasing earthquakes and having all those fragile plates and glasses so high up on the floating shelves. But it is so lovely to see all that vintage. My favorite things are the quilts up in the lofts and that gorgeous dresser in the downstairs' bedroom. They really make it homey. The paintings are beautiful as well. It's great to have a home on wheels also! Great lifestyle for you. Thanks for sharing 👍

I’ve had absolutely nothing holding me back just me talking myself out of doing what I desperately need to do. Thank you for sharing you beautiful home and journey. ❤😊
I love, love, love both your van and your beautiful tiny house! I live in Vista, North San Diego. Female, age 72, with two grown sons and 1 8 month old grandchild. I have been thinking tiny house for over eight years. I have been up to Mount Laguna when I first moved to SD to caregiver someone. I camped at Lake Cuyamaca. Your transition plan from van to tiny is very inspiring!💕📚🌻
I always had wanted my own Tiny House but my dreams will never happen, living in Section 8 and them not letting me work and safe when I had the energy to do so, will never happen now that I can’t.. her home is beautiful.
I understand your dilemma. I just changed from SSDI (disability) to regular SS. SSDI did not really allow savings accounts so I am ecstatic to be able to start saving. They also make you stay poor by not allowing assets (savings, a car, even a tiny home!). Keep your chin up, sweetie!
Not the color I’d pick but I must admit it does goes very nicely with the wood !! And $100k isn’t bad at all compared to the homes around me because I don’t see anything decent for under $300k and I could just barley afford that and I’m SICK of “ barley afford “ so this house is cute and smart. Perfect ! ❤️💯👍🙏
What a great strategy to be out of debt! I have a van , and would love to see how her closet turns into a bathroom and shower! It was mentioned, but glossed over.

My kids keep telling me I should look into going tiny. Having a sprinter van to move around with, stay with them or wherever, is really practical. The only thing is it's just a little to small. Such a lovely home and a lovely woman! I watch many tiny home videos and am always impressed with how nice the homes are, the lots they are on and the “community” itself. I’ve commented before on other videos how in my middle class suburban neighborhood so many people live so isolated that when I say hi walking my dog, I get strange looks. Like, have I left the house without pants or something? 😂. I’m sure we’d have something in common if we actually spent time talking but in a tiny home community there is what seems an automatic bond because of one’s choice of living situation. I’m one of those people who want to live tiny, but my husband does not.

Your tiny house is beautiful. The accidental white kitchen makes it a lot brighter. I like the gold accents, e.g., your closet curtains and dresser drawer handles. One of the things that become more important with age is regular exercise, both aerobic and strength, i.e., beyond just walking. Do you make regular use of a nearby gym?

Fun hack... You can replace the bulbs with remote control ones and your chandelier will work without being hardwired. Great house!!
Great suggestion. Thanks.
