I have this model and it doesn't have a fan
On the back side of the ups there is a slot where you can install the management card. Did you played with these sort of cards ? Any comments about them ?
I have not tried those functions.

I have this UPS and I need to pack it up for a move to another state. Do I only need to unplug the battery disconnect on the rear panel? If I need to do something inside the unit, how do I remove the front bezel? When I squeeze the bezel's sides, nothing comes loose. Thanks!
David Habermehl I didn't think you need to do anything other than power it down during transit, but you should call APC to find out for sure.

Hi, Thanks for the video. I want to know that if i connect my windows server with apc ups (smc1500), and when power goes out for long time. how apc ups will shutdown my windows sever automatically ? is this required any other additional device or software to shutdown my server automatically ?
Vikash Karki To do the shutdown, you will have to install their software and wire up the computer to the APC unit.

Had to change out the 2 sealed lead acid battery a year ago, and unit still works. Typical that the battery needs replacing every 3 - 4 years.
