I don't think there will ever be a faction of daleks more compelling and disturbing than the Emperor and his half-human daleks. You can feel the power and madness dripping from every line delivered by the Emperor, and Eccleston's portrayal of the Doctor beyond terrified of his greatest enemies not only returning in full force but having stewed in their own insanity for so long that they've become rabid zealots is brilliant. When the Doctor himself is scared, you know whatever is causing that fear means business.
You made the right decision having "You would make a good dalek" that quote made the doctor go silent as if he realised the dalek had a point and he couldn't argue against it.
Eccleston's acting in 'Dalek' was what made me take them seriously, I'm so glad that was how Daleks were introduced to me as a kid, if I had started by watching some of the Moffat Dalek episodes I probably would've seen them as just another monster.
I may not like much of Chibnall’s run, but having a Dalek issue a surrender order, wait like 3 seconds, then say, “you took too long, die” is one of the funniest yet most in-character things I’ve ever seen a Dalek do.
for the next episode of Dalek Bumps Question time: Do you think we're overdue to see an emperor of the daleks like the one from Parting of the Ways, an example would be a new design if we get new dalek casing for the next season of Doctor Who.
Number 4 and 5 are my favourites. Also the conversation with the Emperor after the Daleks enter the control room. The Supreme supposedly destroys the TARDIS, but it feels like the Emperor brings the Doctor even lower.
6:55 "we would destroy they cybermen with one dalek!" GODDDDD I LOVE THIS LINE 1: sec isn't even being arrogant, a lone dalek legitimately could. The fact that he can boast in dalek superiority without even being wrong in this scenario is wild. 2: the sass is off the charts, a dalek having this much personality while being this in character for a dalek is unendingly captivating.
I would also put the hovering Dalek scene from series 3. The urge to kill is too strong represents the daleks perfectly ! Like they really can't help it rather then being totally evil.
The episode "Dalek" had many great lines coming from the Metaltron Dalek. From its first back-and-forth interaction with the doctor in the cage to manipulating Rose into touching it and the existential crisis it has when it starts to feel emotion. All the way down to the surprisingly sad "This is not life, this is sickness" speech it gives before it self-exterminates. Honestly, I would really love to see more Dalek dialogue like this again as it just gives them more character in my opinion. This is something I feel they desperately need after being portrayed as simple evil aliens who can be easily outsmarted instead of the universe-ending threat they really are.
The only problem I have with the "I am the God of All Daleks" scene is fact that when the other Daleks say "Worship Him!" you can only hear one Dalek speak
Was it a hard choice for which would be number 1. I suppose in a decade you can update this video by that time the daleks will have a successful spinoff series and you'll have so many more clips to choose from. (I HOPE)
Been watching since ‘05 when I was about 10 years, always loved the “Do not blaspheme!” line. The Cult of Skaro were probably the best Daleks in the show too
I have another video planned for later in the week (I'm on holiday atm, hence the infrequent uploads) which is specifically focused on 'exterminate's, but I will make a part 2 to this video soon - as well as an edition for classic who / big finish
"This is not war, this is pest control." is the _superior_ line.
I confer with this assessment
Rose "You didn't need to kill him."
Dalek Caan "neither did we need him alive".
I think that was Thay instead of Caan.
Emperor Dalek : Purify the Earth with fire. The planet will become my temple and we shall rise. This will be our paradise!
Great lines
Just re-watched this episode last night. The 2005 Emperor was so cool!
Dalek temple = burned ruins and ash
@@fastertrackcreative a planet cleansed of inferior non daleks, they get plenty of resources to build it up from other worlds

This is, probably, the worst way you could insult The Doctor, not to mention, that it`s a harsh true.

My favourite one of all time is "You make your incompetence sound like an achievement"
Which ep was that?

@@Sir_Who Thank you.
This is fantastic

Number 1 a classic, one of the best moments in New Who. Might be my favourite moment. That whole episode is perfection.

No, have new ideas
You missed "The Doctor cannot save you. The Doctor will NEVER save you" from "Eve of the Daleks".
You would make a good DALEK! 9:19

9:08 thunder appears behind the 9th doctor
Finally a dalek bumps video long enough to smoke a (medical) joint to! My perfect afternoon 😊
And I hope you make this for classic also

7:26 background Daleks barely moving because they are so intensely invested in this conversation.

7:32 Supreme Dalek: “Then if emotions are so important, surely we have enhanced you”.
Solid choices, every single one.
The Time War Emperor and Crucible Supreme were built different. Probably two of the only Daleks in history who had no fear of the Doctor whatsoever.
Been watching since ‘05 when I was about 10 years, always loved the “Do not blaspheme!” line.
The Cult of Skaro were probably the best Daleks in the show too
6:13 Dalek Thay: “You propose an alliance”.
Excellent choices there.
Ngl, I nearly choked on my water when he said to the Dalek to kill itself, bro the timing was just funny ngl😭🙏
5:20 Dalek Emperor: “Those words are blasphemy”.
6:16 “This is correct, request denied”.
2:22 Supreme Dalek: “Maximum extermination”!!!

Great job,but please do classic lines of daleks
Next do supreme daleks ranked
There are enough other great new who lines for a part 2

It’s facing that you can see how the Dalek lines become worse over time
you mean hear?
They had a wobble during the middle of the Moffat era, but Chibnall gave us some great ones
"Save the woman you love"
