- For those of you who don't want to watch my animation in parts here is the full episode.
Thanks for all the support and patience over the year whilst I got this made.
The Cyber-Planner shouting "Do not fight in here!" makes me think of the end of Evil of the Daleks when the Emperor shouts to the two battling Dalek factions "Do not fight in here!" not long before being destroyed.
I really like the inclusion of the Special Weapons Dalek.

I made a joke about that scene saying to my friends who know Im a "Whovian" that every kitchen should have a Cyberman instead of a can opener. If he can rip a Dalek open like that?..like a can opener? I'm sure he can open stuck lids on jars. Lol
This was the kind of thing I wanted in the S2 Finale. The Cybermen got completely shafted there.

but a good definition for how I am using it here could be: traditions, knowledge, and/or facts associated with a fictional work.

This is honestly a great explanation to the Witches Familiar and the Magicians Apprentice episodes, especially to explain why Davros is dying and all the Daleks seem to be from different eras.
This and "The Dalek That Time Forgot" should be canon

As far as I'm concerned, they are. Especially dalek that time forgot, it fills the gap between journey's end and the next doctor on a watch through for me.
This one comfortably sits between series 8 and 9

Gotta say, this near 18 minute episode has more thought put into it than the whole of the last series of Doctor Who. I loved this.

Great story, I liked the inclusion of Abslom Daak (took me back to my Dr Who Weekly days) and the way you recreated classic backdrops from the Dalek stories (11:45 'It is forbidden to dump bodies in the river' - nice touch).
This is by far the perfect Daleks vs Cybermen story that I've every seen! Well done! :)

Damn the nostalgia trip was amazing! I loved how you designed and animated the Remembrance of the Daleks and Dalek Invasion of Earth scenes so accurately! Brings back a lot of good memories ;)
This is insane. Puts the lost animation episodes to shame. Must have been a labour of love. The Remembrance sequences were spine tingling!!

This was better than Day of the Doctor and season 10 and season 11. Very well done. Rich use of canon and a good story. You deserve to be given the right to make this a full story on the show. Well done 👍
Would you consider doing an animated film about Neil Gaiman's idea for the Cybermen? That the Cybus-men from Pete's World met with the Cybermen from our universe, last seen in 'Silver Nemesis', swapped technology and merged to create the Cybermen seen from 'A Good Man Goes to War'.
I know this is four years old, but this is some of the best Dr who content I’ve seen, even better than most of what the official show has been doing lately. I love it

The ironic thing here is that this humble little fan animation has infinitely more effort, thought and care put into it than the big-budget official canon episode it's serving as a prequel to.
This shouldn't be canon. The Daleks should be far more effective against Cybermen.
Tetriz Demon well I mean these cyber men are from after the Cyber-War. The original cyber men that went against the Daleks could be destroyed by a powerful taser. These ones were made for war, unlike the others.

@@anonymystical4413 These Cybermen were designed to fight humans. Modern Daleks were designed to fight Time Lords. There really is no competition.

Holy $#!T totally thought this was part of Time Lord Victorius and was impressed that the animation is 10 times better as is this story over the others....then read it’s not official!!! This is amazing and should be canon / official /whatever it’s called because this is fantastic and infinitely better quality than the stuff released by the BBC, TLV, etc! Incredibly well done!!!

Amazing storytelling; bridging the gaps between so many stories and linking them.
Kudos to the beautiful shiny golden Imperial Daleks. And the voices of all previous Daleks (and all other characters) are spot on; these are a particular favourite though!

I don't know how you make this, but it is absolutely amazing. How this hasn't been comissioned I don't know. Really clever how the different generations of daleks were there. I'd love to see the daleks return to Skaro in the past and look for the Dalek Emperor that was in Evil of the Daleks (Patrick Troughton era) that Emperor was destroyed, but I bet they could bring it back. The giant size of the Emperor and his voice, really cool stuff. Keep it up, really impressed :)

This is so rad. I genuinely love this. Though that was a rather unceremonious departure for our beloved Abslom Daak.
Thank you, I did have plans for Daak. I didnt kill him off but during the last part I started sound designing for Big Finish and ran out of spare time, at the time. My plan was, there was going to be a post credit sequence where Daak wakes up in a containment pod alongside Harma, he was shouting to be released and in walks the 7th doctor.
It was going to be a short story about Daak and the Doctor. I may still do it in the future..

Ik this was made a year ago but its just so good. The fights between the daleks and cybermen are so well done and so clever using the cybermens speed from "nightmare in silver" and the cybermats from "closing time". Just so clever. The voice works is perfect. The inclusion of ice worriers and sontarions fighting together to fight darleks is brilliant. The hybrid is so creative and is something the cybermen would do. All the references to THE OLDEST episodes is so amazing. Even the sifi makes sense which is difficultto do in THE ACTUAL DR WHO EPISODES. This is literally perfect not a single second is boring and i hope u make more in the future. If u see this comment i want u to know u have a true talent. I hope u make one about weeping angels someday. Mabye one where the slitheen and other enemys because cybermen.

For many, including myself these videos are the very staple of Docot Who animation and ones that we all look up to. I still cant figure out how you achieved this in such expert detail. I love these and it serves this small but yet brilliant community of Doctor Who animators and story tellers, one day these videos may have influence on the show it's self. I commend you on this. I hope one day I am able to achieve something this good.

I was a senior animator for several years in the industry and the stress pushed me back to freelance and I'm much more happier sound designing and keeping Animation for myself. But I have had talks with possible colab on a Doctor who bluray but that may not happen as they already have three people but we will see.
That was epic! Story, CGI, the voices could not tell you did this with out original actors ie Nicholas Briggs etc . Bravo cant wait for next story. You should be working with BBC, Big finish as well 👏👏👏👏👏

Here's a video idea you can use: the earthshock/silver nemesis Cybermen encounter the Cybus Industries Cybermen. Finding that they're similar, the Mondasian Cybermen propose an alliance with their Cybus counterparts, and they reply in agreement. Before long, the 2 variants gradually merge into the one seen in nightmare in silver
