Consequence for not listening to strange
- His aunt may dies
- most of the villains end up betraying him anyway
- Green goblin gave him PTSD and almost kills him.
- his universe almost got invaded by spider-man villains from other verse.
- Everyone doesn’t know who Peter Parker is which is 10x worse then if Peter just let Strange do the spell where a few still got to know him
Yeah at some point you have to stop blaming "The old Parker Luck" and realize just as often as not Spider-Man is a screw-up
Peter Parker is a teenager, that's kind of the point. Teenagers rarely listen to authority figures over their own strong emotions/impulses, and have to learn their own way. The MCU has never portrayed PP as anything else.
Pros:
- he saved the lives of 5+ people
- he realized his mistake and selflessly sacrificed something important to him to fix it.
Messing up is something that lots of characters do. The reason why we still love them is because they do their best to fix it.
I mean...if Strange listened to Peter all the bad stuff could have been avoided while the good like what happened with Octavius could have stuck around.

Dr. Strange lost because he got cocky. He knew he was so powerful that only the most powerful beings in the multiverse could win against him in the Mirror Dimension, so he thought a kid with bug powers that let him swing around shooting spiderwebs wouldn't even be warmup material, and he completely overlooked Peter's Spider sense and strong mind. He could've won if he'd taken him seriously.
It might have been the opposite, putting Peter in the mirror dimension made it way too easy to hurt him, so Dr. Strange had to be really careful to not kill him accidentally, so he’s limited to blocking Peter’s way rather than attacking. We’ve seen what happens when somebody gets crushed by the mirror dimension objects, they would just die.
also, Spiderman stopped playing by his rules and instead changed them altogether. he stopped fighting conventionally.

They did Dr Strange dirty here. No way in any dimension does Spider-Man beat him.
To be fair, this Strange clearly needs to use physical gestures to enact his greatest magics, something which Spider-Man is an expert in preventing with his webs. Comic Strange would have beaten him fairly easily though.
I think it was more because strange didn’t want to hurt Peter, if he wanted to beat him he probably would have or if it had been a dr strange movie instead of a spider man one
@@shadowstormwynd Definitely a consideration, and the same was true for Spidey. It was less of a fight and more of an argument, albeit an argument with great choreography.
I’m not surprised at all, in the comics Peter has a record of winning battles where he is outnumbered or in a disadvantage. Wolverine once said that spider man always finds a way to win
Yeah that’s kinda the thing. Strange was being very restrained and wearing kids gloves the entire time because he knows he’s literally dealing with an unruly teenager. Nobody “beat” anybody here because it was never a fight.
When you think about it, all the events in this movie could have been avoided if Peter had just clarified, or wrote down on a list, who he wanted to remember him before the spell was cast.
I dont know why people blame peter, peter isnt the magic expert Dr strange is, Peter isnt going to know that clarifying the spell midway could affect the multiverse. Dr strange shouldve said "clarify the spell before because i will not keep changing it midway as it will affect the multiverse"

I love that the MCU gives us fights that are unique to the characters in them. Its not always just a big slug fest. More often than not, it uses the strengths and weaknessess of each individual character whether its their powers, their mindset, the morals, etc. Almost any character can win against another given they create the right circumstances that favor their style of combat prowess/tactics. So cool 😁

It's just the multiverse. The number of times its probably been destroyed and reformed could be the same as the number universes in it.
3:20 So... what was the purpose of these calculations he was doing here? Did he need to measure how much web fluid he was shooting out or something? Of course that doesn't really make any sense, because the reason you'd square the radius is if you're trying to find the area of a circle. And then you multiply by pi. Pi is the ratio of the circumference to the diameter. I can't really see a purpose in dividing any calculation involving the radius by pi unless it's 2(pi)r, which is just the equation for the circumference and then you're finding the diameter which is just 2r (which the equation of 2(pi)r/(pi) reduces to anyway).
The web length is determined by how long he holds down the trigger on his web shooters and how much he has, either that or there’s a special type of button that can determine if he wants a rope of cobwebs, or just shoot out a that is not connected to his wrist.

Spider-Man wanting to try to save his enemies is what made me love this movie.

@@happybobjr1not necessarily. the spell could have simply been returning them to their present day realities with current age tobey/andrew spidermen. of course that opens up the conundrum of them returning to a reality where most of them are legally dead, but it would solve the issue of them being put in a position where they’re just going to be instantly killed upon arrival. either way i’d put my money on that being the case because sony is absolutely not going to be able to resist bringing back tobey and andrew again and they’ll probably use that as an excuse to also drop in on these “cured” versions of these guys (mayor norman osborne immediately comes to mind)

Not really, math is considered the language of the universe. The ancient greeks used math and geometry to calculate the distance of planets, stars, and even the diameter of the earth. All were calculated with 95 percent accuracy and that's long before humanity developed powerful telescopes and observatories. Even today math is still used to calculate and describe the depth and size of the universe.

He’s not if you look at what’s happening he’s just pulling Spider-Man towards him and hence the two portals towards eachother
