I think he also saw Lola as a person in need, versus Ned and MJ who're ready to fight him (with bread). Helping common people asking for help is just a Spider-man thing to do. He wasn't gonna go around obeying someone who's on the defensive (even if it's understandable).
I love the different sound effects for the webbing. Andrew's sounds technological and Tobey's actually sounds organic. They didn't miss a single detail
Man... i know there are some unmatching storylines in this movie, but the way they connected all three Spider-man with similar events and quotes were beautifully done.
Grandma sees her grandson open a portal to another dimension, and proceeds to put the superhero that comes out to work cleaning her ceiling. The balls on that woman.
I feel the one thing that makes Spider-Man relatable is his losses. He loses love ones at different points in his life, and it causes him scars. Things he can't shake off. Great to have them all here.
its what makes spiderman, spiderman, being conflicted about his 2 identities, losing someone cause of it, and accepting the responsibility to do better because he was gifted the power to do so, striving so that no one else loses someone they love like spidey did its a very poetic birth of a superhero and its why spiderman is an all time favourite. it also opens up that anyone can wear the mask if they can bear the responsibilities

He's also the only Spider Man who had an experience fighting someone with similar power (Venom) for now... Who knows if Andrew Peter or Tom Peter would encounter their own Venom.
I think it's like based on their age, Tobey has dealt with pain and been spiderman longer than both Andrew and Tom so he tries to act more calm and stoic while Tom is far younger and Andrew is still dealing with loss
Tom's pain hasn't eclipsed yet so he's still riding the avenger's high. Tobey's has moved past his pain so he doesn't look back on it too much. But for Garfield, everything is still relatively fresh and festering, so it is defining instead of letting him define himself. That's why it seems more vivid.
@@Andrew-og7li Actually, you're factually wrong. Green Goblin and Doc Oc literally drew in the masses and grossed a lot of dough for the film. That's simply a fact--go look it up.
I hear this argument a lot, but I honestly think that your favorite spiderman depends on the one you grew up with. I grew up with both technically, but I was still really young when Toby McGuirre's spiderman was out. Andrew was my spiderman and imo he's the best one. That's usually how I hear it go. If you grew up with Toby, he was your favorite. If it was Andrew, he's going to be your favorite.

The heart to heart talk between the three Spidermans to me is the best part of the entire movie!!!! Followed up by Spidey saving MJ. It made him glad that this time he succeeded!!! Talk about an emotional moment!!! Wow!!!
Glad Andrew Garfield got to do this film. It is redemption and proof that he is a great actor and great Spiderman, he was just cursed with poor writers and a poor script.
They ended this clip with perfect timing, I legit saddled up for the full movie forgetting I was on TH-cam 😂 It's hard not getting plugged into this clip. This is one of the top Marvel movies in my book it's up there with infinity war and Endgame because I wanted to see Garfield and McGuire in the spidie suit again, getting all 3 at once, are you kidding me I couldn't have asked for more! This was a dream come true and I am so happy I got to see them both in the suit one more time. I need to get this on DVD to preserve it.
Definitely love the first interaction dynamic between Andrew and Tobey Spider in showing their level of combat readiness. Both of them more experienced than Tom, and they instinctively react shooting a web and the uncertain figure, but Tobey (being the oldest most experienced of all three of them) is quickest to then aim for Andrew’s webshooter
this is maybe because spiders dont work toghether. it is extremely rare for them to do that and only some species. so its a natural first instinct to react to other spider as a treath. so when tobey and andrew met they react like this. and after when tom meths them both, he reacts the same way.
Ngl I started crying when Tobey mentioned Uncle Ben dying, how it was his fault.. and then when he went after the dude and killed him, that’s when the floodgates opened.. like I remember watching that scene as a kid, and I just remember how Vivid it was..
actually that was an Intended thing, lola represented the fans , of the Toby Era. Same Thing in the conversation between octavius and Peter. There was a dialogue between us ( the kids who are now grown people , where Doc represented our Childhood.
It's a movie. They don't normally "get me in the feelz". If it were unscripted and real then maybe, but they're just dudes paid to say that so who cares? The movie is still good though
I love Ned's Lola's reactions to the other Spider-Men. She freaks out when Andrew jumps through and hides. Then she gets flirty with Tobey. poor Andrew
If only Tom Spiderman knew just how exactly Andrew lost Gwen. Literally watching her fall. Only being milliseconds away from saving her. That scene probably played in his head for a very long time. That is why he got rageful because when he fought he'd start thinking of Gwen.
Tobey's Peter thought Andrew Peter wasn't part of the group. So he might have just thought Andrew Peter was a stranger/someone who shouldn't be in that house. So it ticked his spider sense off. Andrew Peter saw the hostility in Tobey Peter's face and triggered his sense when Tobey Peter was about to web him.

I don't believe we'll ever experience a movie like this again in our lifetime. I wouldn't rate this my favorite Marvel movie, I wouldn't even call it my favorite Spiderman movie, but it's such a unique movie. The culmination of nearly 2 decades worth of Spiderman movies. Each of the Spidermen beloved in their own ways. Having not only the heroes but also the villains reprise their roles. It's just such an amazing love-letter to the Spiderman fans out there. It's pure fan service for better or for worse. The only thing that comes close to this for me is that one episode of Power Rangers where they brought back all the red rangers from every series in one epic battle. Who would come close to being able to pull something off like this? Maybe Batman? But it wouldn't be on-brand to have goofy skits with every Batman hanging out. Spiderman really was the perfect storm for this, I'm so glad they were ambitious enough to go through with it.
Movies like Endgame and this one take so long to set up for the kind of payoff they give. Marvel can't even recreate the build up to Endgame they had. They're such unique experiences.
This is absolutely in my top 3 Marvel movies. The quality of writing is just bonkers, and the action fits the emotions of the scenes, just everything is amazing. Winter Soldier will always be number 1, but beyond that this may well take number 2.
If we're talking MCU, I'd say it's definitely in my top 3. Probably Black Panther, the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie and this. Perhaps if I think longer, that top 3 changes but I did love those 2 movies. If we're talking Marvel overall? That's a tougher and most definitely longer discussion. Spiderman 2 is definitely up for potential consideration, in my personal top 3 for sure.
not a huge Marvel fanatic, but these two scenes are probably some of my favourites in any movie, ever. The movie as a whole really gives the sense that this is *not* how things were supposed to go. MCU Peter didn't get the happy ending he deserved, and he has no choice but to just live with that. It's jarring, heartbreaking, but also really beautiful. Life can turn out wrong for you but life still goes on, that's just the way of the world.

The scene on the rooftop was absolutely beautiful. This was the moment where Tobey and Andrew were needed the most. As they were the inspiration and driving motivation that Holland’s Peter Parker needed to become the Spider-Man we all know and love. That’s why I believe this movie was the film where Holland’s Peter Parker truly came into his own and started his journey to become Spider-Man. As it took the death of Aunt May and the motivational speeches given by Tobey and Andrew to complete Peter 1’s journey to become the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man that Tony Stark wanted him to become. He’s not Spider-Boy or Iron Boy Jr. anymore. He’s Spider-Man.

This entry scene of both old spider-men is probably one of the most amazing scene of entire Movie world till now... This was awesome and beyond the imagination to see Tobey, Garfield and Tom together... Well done MCU
It's not just the fact that they brought these three different spider man actors for this movie, but that they also got the original actors for the villains of the prior two spider man was amazing.
Remember when we all thought they just skipped the Uncle Ben parts of Tom's Spider-Man because we thought it would be a tiring upbringing? To think Aunt May died saying those words broke my damn heart. That's when we found out that this is Spider-Man's origin story.
When Toby showed up I literally cried , this man was a big part of my childhood , I used to have all the Spider-Man covers and sheets , posters , costumes , watched the movies a million times . I hope they keep Tobey around cause he still got it . 💯
I wish I could recreate the reaction at 3:09 in the theater, the full theater and the reaction when Toby came onto the screen was a moment you will never forget, the same reaction when in endgame when Tony snapped and defeated thanos
Andrew Garfield stands as a paragon of modern acting, seamlessly blending emotional depth with remarkable versatility. His performances are nothing short of transformative, whether portraying the heart-wrenching vulnerability of a struggling artist in Tick, Tick... Boom! or the conflicted heroism in The Amazing Spider-Man. Garfield has an unparalleled ability to embody the soul of every character, making each role feel lived-in and profoundly real. His nuanced expressions and emotional intensity leave audiences breathless, establishing him as an actor of rare genius. "The night Ben died, I hunted down the man who I thought did it. I wanted him dead. I got what I wanted. It didn't make it better." That is POWERFUL.
Garfield's story was so sad. I know Tobey's and Hollad's are just as painful, but the way Garfield told his was just so relatable.
Agreed. Garfield is a phenomenal actor. I still believe he got his oscar robbed when he starred in Hacksaw Ridge!
fr
I think it's like based on their age, Tobey has dealt with pain and been spiderman longer than both Andrew and Tom so he tries to act more calm and stoic while Tom is far younger and Andrew is still dealing with loss
@@WillMill03hacksaw ridge was perfect
Tom's pain hasn't eclipsed yet so he's still riding the avenger's high. Tobey's has moved past his pain so he doesn't look back on it too much. But for Garfield, everything is still relatively fresh and festering, so it is defining instead of letting him define himself. That's why it seems more vivid.

Love at the beginning how Garfield sees Maguire as a competition, but Maguire has gotten beyond all that and tries to be his ally.
I wouldn’t say competition, more like immediate suspicion.
None of this I think. It was more like, a test because he knows it.
this is maybe because spiders dont work toghether. it is extremely rare for them to do that and only some species. so its a natural first instinct to react to other spider as a treath. so when tobey and andrew met they react like this. and after when tom meths them both, he reacts the same way.

If only Tom Spiderman knew just how exactly Andrew lost Gwen. Literally watching her fall. Only being milliseconds away from saving her. That scene probably played in his head for a very long time. That is why he got rageful because when he fought he'd start thinking of Gwen.

The thing with the flipping and trying to web eachother was the fact both their spider senses were going off and they thought it was a danger alert
Wouldn't they have sensed it's another spidy
That’s what it was but they didn’t know that, hence why they thought it was danger
IDK, according to the comics, which doesn't mean anything to a director, Spiders can't trigger each others spider senses.
This is the explanation, that’s all I’m gonna say

Agree with you
This is absolutely in my top 3 Marvel movies.
It would be insane if Keaton, Bale and Affleck came together in a Flashpoint paradox type scenario. You even have Clooney, Kilmer and Pattinson too
All 3 Spider-Men had just the best on-screen chemistry, it's amazing
not a huge Marvel fanatic, but these two scenes are probably some of my favourites in any movie, ever.
