strange actually seems genuinely upset for parker and u can tell he really cares about him from this reaction alone
until the end scene...lol
Strange and Wong have some of the best chemistry in the MCU.
Wong needs a miniseries, at least. He's had to deal with a flotilla of crazy crap,
"Don't get me started on Dr. Strange and the little nerd back on Earth-19999!! "
Hey 2099 how u doin
I love When Spider man 2099 says that in Across the spider verse
Brilliant scene. This shows the naiveness of Peter and overconfidence of Strange. And Strange's spell was actually supposed to affect MCU only, but it affected the multiverse due to multiverse becoming free from sacred timeline at the end of Loki final episode.
Does that mean the comic universe was altered by this spell?
@@Deadchannel547 yeah possibly theoretically
Just shut up fanboyy.
It shows the generosity of strange and absolute greediness of peter.
And why would strange not have trust in his skill. He has already performed that spell several times in the past.
Didn't you watch the movie? Strange literally handled 5 interruptions in the spell before he lost his control. That is the skill level he possesses. He has the right to trust his skill.
But peter surely doesn't have the right to exploit anyone's generosity.
lol this is such overkill statement assuming hard on this connecting to loki
I mean the last two phases have been revolving around the idea of the Multiverse either collapsing or breaking the barriers that keep them confined. @@randytruong6621
Strange doesn't realize that the multiverse has been freed (after Loki). If he had known about it, he would have never suggested this, because the spell is multiversal
There was always a multiverse, it's just that after Loki there was no sacred timeline which prevented evil Kang variants.
@@Japhu you're implying that it's a sacred timeline for the multiverse and not a sacred timeline for one world?
@@yudhazacharias9377 yeah exactly
@@Japhu don't be so sure. The multiverse exists because of Nexus events, caused by different outcomes which are caused by different choices in life. When He Who Remains explained that his variant discovered other universes, that's when the TVA has not* been established yet, that's why there are other worlds. They then go to war, and this one Kang used Alioth to wipe them all out, leaving only one reality for him to control. He built the TVA to be a gardener, to keep the branches from growing, by stopping Nexus events. Did you watch Everything Everywhere All at Once? There is a visualization of the multiverse through a monitor, it showed branches, branches*, and one of those branches is an animated world. Do you not see? Even a far off animated world can be a branch. Not a branch in time, but a branch of possibility. All worlds, Tobey's world, Sylvie's world, Aligator Loki's world, Boastful Loki with a different skin tone's world, they are all What Ifs. The TVA can traverse the worlds of these different Lokis, they for sure can traverse Tobey and Andrew's worlds, through the branch of, say it with me, possibility. Tobey and Andrew are the same category as Sylvie and Aligator Loki
He should never have agreed to doing it period. It was never worth the risk even had he known of the events in Loki or not.
I find it hilarious that they can cast all kinds of crazy spells but they apparently don't have one that would simply remove snow from the sanctorum

@@Jarvis-lz4hr Yes, I do agree that Strange should've warned Peter prior to casting the spell, given Wong clearly warned that the spell travelled through dark and unknown realities.

5:09 When Dr. Strange asks "What is a Ned?" 😂😂
It's mostly Doctor Strange's fault for me. Doctor Strange should've had a conversation with Peter before casting the spell
He should have done that and/or just ignored Peter when he kept intersecting.
Agreed
Strange doesn't realize that the multiverse has been freed (after Loki). If he had known about it, he would have never suggested this, because the spell is multiversal
@@yudhazacharias9377if I recall correctly the ending of Loki S1 (when Sylvia kills He Who Remains) is directly connected to what happens in NWH, correct me if I’m wrong but that means we have Sylvia to thank for ruining the spell (and bringing back our childhoods)
@@marcushojunyong The one who ruined the spell is Peter. The spell was already multiversal to begin with. Strange would never use this idea if he had known the multiverse is free. Now because the multiverse is free, the impact caused by the spell is bigger now, so Sylvie didn't ruin it, she made the impact bigger, while Peter ruined it. Had the Loki finale not happen, the spell would only affect the MCU, because the multiverse wouldn't be out there. Now if the Loki finale happened, and Peter hadn't ruin the spell, everyone in every universe would forget Peter Parker is Spider-Man, including Tobey's MJ. But because Peter ruined the spell, the spell pulled everyone who knows Peter is Spidey from every universe to the MCU, its origin point, including Tobey and Andrew because they have the keyword "Peter is Spidey" in their heads too. To fix this, the last spell is to make everyone in every universe forget Peter Parker. The last spell negated the first spell, sending everyone home, but it also influenced everyone who's not Peter Parker in every universe, wiping Peter from their minds
7:32 I like to imagine that wasnt even a scene. Strange just teleported him there and the doors closed on their own
I was thinking the same thing. That'd have been so much better. They did it Similar to what happened to Strange in the first movie but simply a clout shot of him in the street and then moving back to show he was teleported and now he's disappointed.
Would’ve been hilarious if he Peter said “he didn’t have to teleport me outside”

I like to believe it was not Spiderman and Strange who did this, it was Tom Holland and Benedict Cumberbatch
Dr Strange had successfully changed the parameters of the spell 3 times. It was only during the 4th time that the spell got out of control. So, instead of choosing Ned, Peter should have chosen Happy to remember that he is Spiderman. After all, Happy is the person who gives Peter access to Tony Stark's tech after Tony's death. It wouldn't have harmed Peter at all if Ned had forgotten that he was Spiderman. Very poor choice from Peter's side!
The main poor decision was not thinking this through having a list of those people he knows that still remember that he's Spider-Man. Or just have everyone forget about Mysterio. As simple as that
If you notice from Part 1, all the troubles were caused by Peter himself, showing foolishness and immaturity, part 1 was weak and couldn't finish Toomes right away, part 2 gave EDITH to Mysterio, and part 3 ruined Strange spell without thinking clearly about

Honestly, things would have gone way different if Stephen just explained Peter about what the spell would do BEFORE actually casting it. 😅
Stephen is still kinda arrogant, of course he wouldn't consider that Peter needs some explaining of the spell. He was just happy he gets to cast a powerful spell and help a fellow Avenger out, not considering that he's a kid and may not understand the consequences of said spell.
Or if Peter thought ahead of time and just told Dr Strange who he wanted to remember who spider man is. Also Peter should have stopped at like the 4th person because he could clearly see the spell was getting our of hand.

If it were me as Doctor Strange casting the spell to clear Peter’s name, I would’ve asked him if he has any friends and families that knows him as spider man and make sure they don’t lose their memories.
I like how they just gave up with Strange slipping and kept it in since Benedict Cumberbatch couldn’t stop slipping when he landed with the wires. Most films and series insist on keeping characters “perfect,” so slips, and coughs and stuff like that is never kept in.
Honestly I would’ve thought that was intentional because the marvel writers love excessive comedy
“And don't even get me started on Doctor Strange and the little nerd back on Earth-199999!”
I think leaving it at just Ned and MJ would've been fine. I think he could've just told Happy his real name is Peter and retold Aunt May since she started working with "Spider-Man" in the last film.

Peter's a dumbass
Even though a lot of people give this scene hate i really feel like this scene in a lot of ways really shows the kinda character that Peter Parker is. He may be a brilliant scientist but he's also just a kid. He's a kid that makes mistakes. He may want to be like Tony Stark and look up to him but at the end of the day he's niave and stupid. I'm not saying it gives him a pass on messing up the spell but at the same time that's just the character that Peter is and THAT'S what makes him so relatable as a hero. The fact that he's not perfect and he does make stupid mistakes. Heroes aren't perfect. They may be able to do incredible, amazing things but they also mess up...sometimes really really bad. Superheroes may be incredible and amazing but their also not perfect.
That's why Tony said to him
"And i want you to be better."
its kids in nature. Annoying little brats but its all a growing process
Peter really should have thought carefully about his decision to use mind-altering magic before he went to Doctor Strange in the first place. Even if he knew very little about magic, he still should have thought about how things might get worse if you use magic. You'd think that when Dr Strange said "It won't turn back time, but at least people will forget you were ever Spider-Man", Peter would have immediately realized his friends will be under the spell too since Strange never said it would only apply to those who found out when his identity was outed. Also as Strange later pointed out, Peter could have just asked the boarders of MIT to reconsider his Ned and MJ's applications beforehand. And even if he can't convince them, he can still apply to a different college. The whole memory-wiping spell was unnecessary in the first place
strange´s fault for not explaining, obviously. peter not at fault at all

Peter, even after being warned several times and floating off the ground amidst a Spell going absolutely haywire because of him, goes OUT OF HIS WAY to continue meddling with it with his nitpicky changing by the second conditions.
Definitely a Teenager.
except it was strange who ruined the spell by not explaining anything to peter, so he is acting like a teenager
Peter was solely focused on the results and cared little about the method. As seen Peter didn't even research the mundane methods to handle the problem before asking Strange to mess with time or allowing a memory spell to be used. Strange and Wong both presumed that magic was Peter's last chance. So, sorry to say it, Strange's lack of explanation doesn't mean Peter couldn't have asked questions, verified, or more. In fact, in this case, Peter should have verified that he and Strange both knew the requirements. The responsibility is not solely on one or the other but on the person asking is expected to be clear in their request.

Except that it makes Strange look like a inept magician, like he never learned anything since his first movie.
When Doctor Strange said that his spell had been changed six times I was excited to see the Sinister Six but unfortunately only five villains appeared later while Venom only appeared in the post-credits scene.
I just realised that when Dr Strange gets mad at the end, it’s not for the reason Peter wanted the spell cast in the first place. It wasn’t to get into college it was cause their lives were a mess since everyone knew he was Spider-Man
I think before the spell, Peter should’ve verified what he wanted instead of saying it during the spell

This hit different in the cinema, not gonna lie
I don't think Peter has thought it through enough to deal with that
Why did Strange say that Peter changed the spell six times? I counted five times like Peter:
1) MJ
2) Ned
3) Aunt May
4) Happy
5) "Basically everyone who knew I was Spiderman should still know!"
So what's the sixth change?
I think because Strange changed the spell secretly so he himself could remember Peter
When Doctor Strange says "Nice knowing you, Spider-man" that was the first spell. Then Mj was the second. And so on.
Those two had really good chemistry
Actually, Strange is right. In order to have a good spell, it is better to let everyone in the group follow the spell.
It might cause a problem, when you choose some of the people not to follow the spell, while others have to follow.
Stability is the main problem.
That's why be careful what you wish for.
6:59 Can't be both. Trying to live two life, be nice but influential. If you play nice, you don't interfere with other. If you play influential, you always interfere with someone.
To be fair, Strange was clearly very happy to cast the spell that brainwashes the entire world
He thought he's helping fellow friend from work. And it gave him a chance to cast a powerful spell, something obviously a powerful wizard would enjoy.
it was like eating a sandwich for him. he cast it before for a pizza party
Makes me wonder how Tony himself would have reacted to this, first to Peter not taking his exposed identity well. As Tony let it out from the beginning of his superhero sagas, thus having the knowledge of what to expect and giving Peter pointers of how to overcome it. Probably had some great secrets hiding places for him and his friends to hide at till the chaos dies down.
And then Strange making it worse cause of his lack of foresight not predicting that perhaps Peter needed someone to talk to him through his ordeal, instead if of ways to use this as if it was just another day practicing spells irresponsibly. Of course both are going to picker back and forth, Tony had his moments before where he too got egotistical with his capabilities but Tony had learned over time how those poor decisions affects those around him than he is credited to have learned.
I think Tony would have been very understanding of Peter's desire to have his identity private. Tony announced his to the whole world but, he was already a grown man at that point, and he was already very used to things like paparazzi and being in the spotlight before he ever invented the Iron Man armor.
I think the fault for it goes to Strange, personally. Yes, Peter should have shut up when Strange told him to but, as the so called responsible adult of the two, and the only one of them that knows anything about magic, he should have explained to Peter what he was going to do before he even started casting that spell, so the two of them could figure out what it is they're trying to accomplish, and so Peter would understand the actual risks involved.
just like the phrase goes: "Tony is always learning from his mistakes" and that is why don't tell anyone about your secret identity, otherwise your enemies will know about you, your family ties, your friends and you would be surrounded by a bunch of people following you and not giving you enough space of your own.

Everyone pause at 2:46 and at 2:57. Continue to flip between these two frames of Dr. Strange’s face. (The shot/frame at 2:46 seems to have taken place during principal photography. Whereas the shot at 2:57 was taken during reshoots). When I watched this movie, I thought his face looked “strange” for some parts of the film and especially this part. It seems as though there were reshoots and a few very minor (but noticeable) inconsistencies squeaked through to the final cut. His wig isn’t the same; you could check the sideburns and how they seem to cover his ear differently. His beard isn’t the same; you could see how it was shaved differently on the left side of his face (our left as the viewer). And generally it seems as though the makeup isn’t the same; we see more of his eye wrinkles later. Idk if it’s just me or his widow’s peak is a little more prominent in the reshoots. His eyebrows are less full in the reshoots. The lighting just looks “flatter” on his person (almost like it was shot in a studio booth with a green screen) for example take a look at HIS right shoulder (our left, as the viewer) and you could see the cloak looks like cgi or something because of how flat the lighting is. Idk if I’m going crazy but I haven’t mentioned everything that looks different.
