My buddy just dropped 4 of my outfits into 10ft of water at the boat slip and had to dive down to get them. Two conventionals and two spinners. This is the first time this has ever happened and your video was very helpful. Now I have to find out how to service the conventionals…thanks
Great video JC… very informative post as always! Was actually browsing looking for hanging cabinets and came across…Cabinetry Expert…back in the day. Tight lines JC 👍🏼🎣💪🏼
ha ha... yeah, I was when I was first learning how to make money on the Internet. I had closed my cabinet shop and was living in a little one bedroom apartment, mother-in-law suite.
Hey JC, right now the mackerel are in THICK from Tampa to Hudson. With some being 30in + They are running inshore, to about 5 miles out, getting hits every cast. You may want to take advantage while we have this great weather!
Thanks JC I already break the tails off to release their scent (a Luke @ SaltStrong advice) but also forgot your advice about using the tails!!! Repetition is key!
JC, I'm in the Tampa Bay area, a lot of our passes and structures get a pretty good current flowing through. When using weight to hold shrimp down, do you use a knocker rig? I always feel like a 1 Oz sinker would spook the fish, or the shrimp will just spin around in the current.
Um...I haven't lost much. I got a Sam's membership. I'm single so I buy a 5 pack of roman lettuce hearts, a bag of avocados, a pack of 10 tomatoes, a rotisserie chicken for $4.90 and eat salads most of the week.
Yes, but I try to fish in areas where it's not likely to be. Lately I've been fishing along the east shore of the inner coastal waterway a good distance away from any major inlets...
I will break my shrimp for Sheepshead as well, rarely use a full shrimp for them due to how they eat. Another good one JC!
Thanks for watching Jon.
Thanks JC. Great content

Interesting I always used shrimp whole. But this sounds logical. Thanks for the tip. I especially like how you put multiple tales on the hook.
Nice tips JC!
Great advice, thanks!

Keeper Sheeper! Can I get a Witness? Yikes just got aluminum Klamath/9.9/trolling motor. Little bit of maintenance to do. Live the channel.
Nice video JC, always appreciate the tips! Are you have much Red Tide in your area?
Check the FWC red tide map.
Off topic question. I don't see anyone on the channels pinching down the barbs on hooks. What are your thoughts?? Thanks.
Only if I'm fishing for a fish that requires no barbs, otherwise I'm all about using barbs.

Yes I do use a knocker rig in the inlets most of the time.

You probably heard in the video by now.
@@RadReelingFishing yes I did I just wanted to reconfirm. Thanks
I'm up near crystal river area and i can't catch anything other than tiny catfish and tiny red snappers up here!
How many shrimp would you take for a day's fishing?
I usually get four to five dozen for me and then if I have a lot left over I keep them alive on the aerator for the next trip.
Sheepshead love shrimp heads
so hard to catch fish in cold! otherwise nice vid jc❤
JC! Do you go out fishing during red tide?
Yes, but I try to fish in areas where it's not likely to be. Lately I've been fishing along the east shore of the inner coastal waterway a good distance away from any major inlets...

When you don't have a boat.
