Simple, direct, articulate demo without the long intro, bad humor or effects. Looking into purchasing the studio pack. This helped greatly. Much appreciated.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your comment, I take pride in making these videos as simple and as straight to the point as possible so this means a lot!
Damn... I thought it sounded a little too warm and was blaming the mic but as soon as you pressed the Vintage button I was all in!! I might just have to go for it...
I`ve put this posting elsewhere to try and get some help, so please don`t think it`s spam or junk. I just bought the Volt 176 and am using the NT1-A with Kali Audio LP6s. TRS connection from the volt, into the monitors via XLRs. The 48v button is coloured up red. Mogami XLRs join the mic to the front of the 176 but it`s so quiet! I cannot record voice as the gain won`t go past about 35% without feedback. It`s powered with the USB-C supplied and that`s plugged into a USB-C port on my PC. But, no matter what combination of settings I try it just seems too quiet to record vocal into Audacity. I`m way below where I should be. Any ideas?
@@theheatstudio Hi there. Thank you so much for replying. No, even with the LP6s unplugged I still am way quiet. I mention feedback as I did try with the speakers on also, just in case. If I turn gain way up it really doesn`t affect the recording enough. ???
@@theheatstudio I`ve just started to write an apology as you were indeed correct. I`d tried so many combinations that in my frustration I hadn`t realised that my final try included the monitors being on. Instead of apologising I want to thank you. I spent a very poor night sleeping last night thinking that I`d used my only savings on something that was way over my head. Although it was, way over my head, I see now that it just a stupid error. It`s a steep learning curve. Thank you so much for your time and I wish you well. You certainly have a new subscriber, from UK.
Does it sound like there’s no high frequency coming out of the mic? In this demo I didn’t do any processing so you’re hearing the mic how is supposed to sound
Hello ma'am, My name is Deol and I'm from India. I'm full beginner. I want to do poetry recording. The lines of my poetry are in high tone as well as in low tone. Please suggest me a microphone and audio interface After buying which I do not have any regrets. But My room is not sound proof. I want to record in my house. My total budget is $350
If you don't have a treated room it is useless to spend so much, I would buy an at2020, a 1/2 channel volt sound card, and with the remaining money an auction and sound absorbing panels
@@theheatstudio thanks for the reply But cant the mic hold its own even if it wernt part of the bundle is my question i guess. Or is ot just a throwaway to sell the bubdle
@@southpawlibranine3511 that’s for you to decide! All mics sound and respond different with each singer, sometimes the most expensive mic is not the best choice, let your ears decide!

Totally agree. Great demo video.

Is subtle but it makes a difference specially when pushing the gain!
@@theheatstudio You can hear it for sure!

Hi, you mentioned feedback. Are you recording with your speakers on?

Thanks!
is this pack sound better than AT2020 and a focusrite 2i2 for making music ?
It depends on what you think better means but I would highly recommend purchasing the volt package
Sorry but, what type of tread it’s used di on the microphone?
Hi, not sure what you mean. Are you talking about the microphone clip
@@theheatstudio yes, sorry I'm italian
@@riccardolettieri1690 the mic comes with a clip that goes into the mic stand and it has an adapter for smaller size (5/8 I believe)

Does this equipment come with any specific plugins for vocals?
Ese es el mío !
Jajajaja el mejor!
Subbed!!!! 🔥🤙🏾

I got the studio pack too, but the mic sounds very muffled, any idea why ? THANK YOU !

Hey, can you record a sample of your voice and send it to my email?

Whats the quality of the mic like for singing?
As you can hear by the demo, adding the vintage and compressor to the mic makes a huge difference so for singing is great to have those options.
