I almost got this one. I actually got a Hifiman Edition XS because it was on a super sale, it will arrive next week. But I have the feeling my next headphones will be from Moondrop. Not sure wich one yet.
An irrelevant question to this video: But should I buy Oppo enco air 3 pro or nothing ear 2 if they are both available at the same price i.e 60$ ? Because that's my budget👀
i havent given a try for IEMs yet but i have been some what interested. these cans look nice but still pricy for my budget. i mainly want over ear headphones due to the comfort but being some one who loves sub bass its hard to find headphones that perform well in the low 30Hz range. the music i listen tends to hover in the low 30Hz high 40Hz and sometimes going as low as low 20Hz range. but trying to find ones that perform well and sound clean in the 100€ range is bit hard and i prefer ones that have swappable cable so i can quickly swap for cans that perform better when gaming and then swap to EQ that is more suited for them and i know. having a good speaker setup with subwoofer is the best option for low bass music but living in a apartment building, low powerful bass aint good if u dont want to get kicked out xD
maan idk about this one. is it really worth getting a para over something like sennheiser hd 600 which consistently goes on sale for $300? would the build quality be on par with something like the hd600? or would it be more on par with their iems that have poor QC? if this was a $200 or $250 headphone, maybe it would be an easier thing to recommend.
Yeah seems kinda iffy. Here's to hoping that the mm-100 from audeze is good. It would be nice to finally get a midfi planar that doesn't scream qc issues
Not even a relevant comparison. A $50k 2 seater sports car isn’t better or worse than a $50k family suv. A $300 DD headphone tuned to df-neutral target isn’t better or worse than a $300 planar headphone tuned to harman over-ear target. Crin only mentioned sundara because that’s a similarly priced apples to apples comparison which hd600 & para comparison is not. saying "is it really worth getting a $50k suv when a $50k sports coupe exist" is just lunacy.
If someone was choosing between an HD600 and a Moondrop Para, they really couldn't pick 2 more different sounding headphones Saying "is it really worth to buy the Para when the HD600 exists" makes almost no sense. If you're really worried about build quality and wanna stretch your $, then of course get the HD600, almost nothing is competing with that in any price bracket. If you want a planar sounding headphone, you're talking about a completely different kind of sound and honesty, a completely different build quality with any planar magnetic you buy I cant speak about the Para's build quality btw, but I do own a Venus. Its built pretty awesome honestly since I bought it at release, but yes mine came with one of the ear cup clicked off and I needed to spend 4 seconds to click it back in. Its been nearly a year since I got them, and have had zero issues with the earcup, screws, headband, etc. Its a very solid and frankly unique feeling headphone. I absolutely recommend it and would recommend the Para if it has essentially the same build quality, so take that for what you will

the left channel of my edition xs died recently and it will cost me 170us to get these replaced. Should I go ahead with this or should I put my money towards a para or a future even better headphone. Thought the crin viewers might have opinions
I almost got this one. I actually got a Hifiman Edition XS because it was on a super sale, it will arrive next week. But I have the feeling my next headphones will be from Moondrop. Not sure wich one yet.
An irrelevant question to this video:
But should I buy Oppo enco air 3 pro or nothing ear 2 if they are both available at the same price i.e 60$ ? Because that's my budget👀
please review your ranking a headphones..the old king r70x and hd600 :)
i havent given a try for IEMs yet but i have been some what interested. these cans look nice but still pricy for my budget.
i mainly want over ear headphones due to the comfort but being some one who loves sub bass its hard to find headphones that perform well in the low 30Hz range. the music i listen tends to hover in the low 30Hz high 40Hz and sometimes going as low as low 20Hz range. but trying to find ones that perform well and sound clean in the 100€ range is bit hard
and i prefer ones that have swappable cable so i can quickly swap for cans that perform better when gaming and then swap to EQ that is more suited for them
and i know. having a good speaker setup with subwoofer is the best option for low bass music but living in a apartment building, low powerful bass aint good if u dont want to get kicked out xD
maan idk about this one. is it really worth getting a para over something like sennheiser hd 600 which consistently goes on sale for $300? would the build quality be on par with something like the hd600? or would it be more on par with their iems that have poor QC? if this was a $200 or $250 headphone, maybe it would be an easier thing to recommend.
If someone was choosing between an HD600 and a Moondrop Para, they really couldn't pick 2 more different sounding headphones
Saying "is it really worth to buy the Para when the HD600 exists" makes almost no sense. If you're really worried about build quality and wanna stretch your $, then of course get the HD600, almost nothing is competing with that in any price bracket. If you want a planar sounding headphone, you're talking about a completely different kind of sound and honesty, a completely different build quality with any planar magnetic you buy
I cant speak about the Para's build quality btw, but I do own a Venus. I absolutely recommend it and would recommend the Para if it has essentially the same build quality, so take that for what you will
hd600 in my country is not in $200 - $300 price range but it's $500-$600.
@@PantsaBear And I wonder how do both of them (Venus and Para) stack up compared to Ananda V3 and Nano...
Crin, can you please upload again your Drop HD8XX video?? missed your rant on that one
I can't wait to try these. I've been waiting on buying headphones until I can get a good pair of waifu box headphones. lol. Too bad I don't have a reason to take a trip up to Singapore for a day or two to come check out your place. Hopefully soon...
How would you compare it to the ATH R7Ox?
back to your other video saying we don't need a amp do you think we are going to need a amp ?
for the para or do you think a dongle dac will work fine ?
i own a THX dongle dac and have a para coming was wondering if its enough
my daily drivers are the Xenns up love those more of a iem person going to be my first over ear
At low volumes you'll be okay. If you listen at higher volume with bass-heavy music you might run into distortion issues.
thank you man
i wonder how do the Para compare with the audeze MM-100.
And the Anandas
Compared to Edition XS? Does it compete with that?
Waiting for a sub 200 hd600 competitor.
Eyo, did he basically represent Para as the *Huh Duh Six Hungo's* of the Waifu Headphone?
Old Man Senny is proud 👍
Crin uploads I watch. That is all
You didn't review the Moondrop Chu 2 so now I had to buy them without knowing your rating for them, I got them for $17 on sale though
Have you tried the Kimura Duo IEM's?
does this make venus obsolete ?
you think these are good for a competitive gamer ? like great imaging/soundstaging?
Blessing 3 crin collab please!!
Have you tried the Chu 2s yet?
And the FD11...
Interesting, but doesn't seem like it's going to kick the sennheisers off my headphone stand, which feels like the bar.
"Timmy, add a thumbnail."
"Timmy, Timmy, prepare the image."
"Timmy, coffee"
"Timmy, ...Timmy!"
Nice review. I have a lot of Chifi. It is great value.
Solis 2 review?
What do you think about recent bangers from Simgot? Have you tried them yet?
hi crin can you review the hisenior t4 and the hisenior okavango cause i didn't see much review about this product and i want to know what your thought on it
Man out of everyone I’ve asked if absolutely love your opinion!! I’m getting the HD 800s headphones, specifically for gaming , I just really want an immersive experience, can you please recommend a dac and amp to pair it with?
Anyone have a recommendation for alternative pads?
they come with two types. so you should be covered
Moondrop EP-100A pads
(Upgrade pads for PARA ; not microperfored internaly side)
MidBass ⬇ [80-400]
Mids ⬆ [400-2000]
LowerTreble ⬇ [2000-6000]
Hope that local resellers will sell them, otherwise I don't think I could trust pay that much with the usual Chifi support
Hey crin can you do a test for current IEM bluetooth module(trn,kz,fiio, ibasso) on a plannar IEM?
I always wondered how the Bluetooth modules performs because there have been development since the first time they were introduced on the market
Dude, have you try Asus ROG TWS? I sceptical about it, they do make a good laptop but idk about TWS
Akg k702 vs sundara vs moondrop para. Who wins?
Blessing 3 crin when please
Man I was gonna get some sundaras or ath r70x but now I don't want to if the Para are this good. Knowing moondrop they'll probably release an even better and cheaper headphone in a year or so
Huh, you also considered R70X? That's an interesting coincidence. I went for the Para in the end, mostly because of the price, but that Ananda Nano was making me think real hard.
How do you like the Para? And what did you have before them@@getsideways7257
havent tried the paras but tried out some r70xs and sundaras at my local audio store. r70xs are really good and so are the sundaras. honestly i'm in the same predicament, cant decide what to splurge ~$500 (AUD) on
para is $400 rn on sale, sundara is $475, r70x is $450
@@getsideways7257 My Ananda died in only a year, you should take QC into consideration if its for Hifiman.
