After only recently coming across your you tubes, I'm enjoying watching them. And I'm VERY inspired by your style, colors and brushstrokes. Thanks for sharing your work!!
Thanks for sharing your residency experience. What an idyllic place to focus on your art😍 Your videos are inspirational and helpful to budding artists.
Beautiful work! You did a great job job at capturing the essence of the Newfoundland landscape while still retaining your own style and highlighting your talents 👏 you reminded me why that part of my country is still one of my favourite parts to visit lol very nicely done!
What a breath taking area you live in. Would it be okay to do a screen shot from this video of the stream. I'm loving your work and look forward to the next video. Good luck with the exhibition. Pete 🇬🇧
Great video. That’s quite an adventure over there. I’m you glad you had that chance to go hiking, painting and exploring nature. Love all your paintings. See you in the next video. Cheers. 😎😎🔥🔥❤️❤️
Fabulous paintings, but how do you ship or roll up your paintings while wet to take jome Or did you use a medium to quicken the drying period ? Thanks.
Great question! The climate was pretty warm and dry in July, so most of my paintings were dry within a week. In the final week of my residency, I still painted, but I used Walnut Alkyd Medium from M. Graham (like liquin) to make them dry faster. Everything was fully dry by the time I rolled them up :)
That sounds as such an amazing experience and I am sure having this huge amount of space (time) just focusing on art making gives that extra vibe , I love the paintings you made . What an amazing landscape . I wondered how do you transport your plein air paintings are they still wet (oil?) or do you use acrylics for plein air ? Thanks for sharing .
Thank you so much! Great question. I use a panel carrier for my wet panels: you can see it in my plein air kit here: th-cam.com/video/GHins7UNI94/w-d-xo.html
Wonderful piece, part art vlog, part travelogue. One thing: Aren't those birds pronounced "puffins" like the cereal? Seems like your residency there was both beneficial to your practice and enjoyable as a means to unwind. This vlog and the three seasons I've watched of "Republic of Doyle", have gotten me really curious to check out Newfoundland for myself someday, and maybe take along some art supplies.

I jumped the gun and asked about the medium, but what a fantastic collection of paintings. ❤
I was just wondering the same thing. How will she get all those wet paintings back home?
Thank you!
