Ikr Number One. In my apt, the wall in the bathtub started leaking water into the downstairs apt and we didn't realize it. Neighbors called the landlord and they came and told us about it, looked at what needed to be done, water was leaking through the sealant between the tiles
Actually it is possible I know that my upstairs neighbors have a herd of kiddos who run&stomp all the time &even way late into the day.. personally I would say too late for any child to be awake but it's not my kids so what I'm supposed do anyways I see the adults always there they continue to be loud with their lil party feet 😂 because I do not complain about it I figure it's kids that obviously haven't been parented proper &their just kids it's not their fault..I hate to hear about any kids sweet babies suffering &being hurt or negatively effected ..so sad

It’s a multi family house so no, they don’t live in the same house, they live in the same building. I live in Connecticut and we have a lot of old (pre 1900s) multi family homes. Those type are super sturdy unlike newer houses with cheaper material and hollow thin walls. It’s amazing how many times I’ve walked down stairs passed my neighbors door (that happens to be open at the moment) and smell smells that I never smell with the door closed. If you’re on the first floor you’re more than likely not gonna smell anything cuz it’s rising up the common hallway like heat rises. I’ve had times where I left my trash in the landing (for a moment before leaving the house) by the time I get to the second floor from the third it smells fresh down there. Not condoning the parents in any of this but it’s very easy when your neighbor is over you instead of next to you to not notice things.

And I’m sorry but not everyone is going to do something or investigate right away, at first when they feel like something is off, they weren’t even sure if the girl has always been alone, they could’ve thought they were just assuming things and didn’t want to get involved. However they did when they seemed to be fed up with it, so the “not wanting to get involved attitude” is something a lot of people do because sometimes in a lot situations people feel like they shouldn’t get involved it’s not always people don’t want to.

I can't stand a child suffering.he stay home dad collect SSI and gf would come home who worked an baby would stop crying.then he would physically block stairwell so I would use back entrance.mentally unfit to raise children.

No. I was lazy from a low thyroid. But I took care of my kids. And did as much as I could for housekeeping.

I'm sorry but there is a difference between neglect and abuse is the most ridiculous statement I have ever heard. As a senior child protection specialist for 12 years in Australia hear me when I say neglect is abuse and abuse is neglect. There is no difference.

Neighbor If you suspected something was wrong you say something. Your inteview was unneccessary. Thank God It wasn't to late for these poor babies. The parents failed those children as well as the neighbor. I pray that those children are happy safe and thriving.

I agree no doubt &yes kids can be very resourceful when they have no other choice ..I saw a case on the news or somewhere that said a 4 year old was found caring for her toddler &baby siblings..and theirs the ones who took a trip to Mexico for vacation leaving the kids to care for themselves complete ignorance totally rediculous saddest thing to here ...so yes kids can be very resourceful & overcome barriers they shouldnt have to ...when need be they go into survivor mode.. they should never have to fend for themselves ....or care for their siblings & themselves ..they should simply be enjoying their childhood..so so 😢
I've said this before, but it needs to be said again: There had to be a process in place to establish whether adults, and even sub-adults are fit to become parents. And if they are not, they should be prevented from doing so. Too many kids are forced to live in environments in which they are either neglected, violated or abused - not to mention just abandoned and left to die ... NO! Something drastic needs to be done to change this paradigm.

Tim I have been saying for years that she should have to be approved in order to have a human being.Like a house you have to be approved the same thing should happen with children. Diane Downs shot 3 children and got pregnant. Should she be able to bring a helpless baby into the world I would be petrified to be in her belly.
