Singaporean here. I've had tons of frogs, have tried silkworm, cricket, and paddy rat, but that's about it. Never had the courage to pick up other bugs, much less eating them. Kudos for being very respectful to their food culture there, that was remarkable.

We eat rats found in the jungle because their diet is organic. But we dont eat mouse found in our houses because they mostly eat from drainage amd dustbins. If you go hunting then you'll understand the difference.
Just to clarify, we eat only those specific edible spiders, worms and herbivore rats etc. and they live n grow in a clean environment. They are caught from the wild unpolluted forest and are believed to serve a medicinal purpose.
Damn, it's the scariest Indian Mukbang that I've ever seen...even being an Indian myself. But I'm sure once you acquire the taste, these insects are delicious. For us South Indians, it will be difficult to put in the mouth for the first time. I'd love to try though one day 😅
