Just understand one thing...I lived in UK for 3 full years. If I ask for a direction, they will simply walk. They don't apply their brain. This is Britishers I am talking about. Now also you guys should understand Indian culture first. There is youth class, poor class, middle class and upper middle class. Of course Rich bit you will never come across them. This youth can eat anywhere as they care less for hygiene than money. They won't have money and so they prefer no frills shop. For example I had very less money. So I won't go to Saintsbury's but prefer local no frill grocery. The product wise the quality won't be that good but price wise saving those pounds was very helpful for me. Then in and around temple towns, there will be LOTS of small mini tiffin food centers and that's meant for moving tourists. When temple closes, traffic will also close. People don't come there to EAT and the people who frequent those places are more like one time. They may never come back to the same restaurant ever again. The hotels, veg restaurants that you are asking for will be AWAY and might be too complicated to give directions. please understand that logic. You can take your cell, just google top veggie restaurants. You will get plenty. None of them will be in tourist areas. These are all small haberdashers who run their businesses with no frills. You people simply stop everywhere and ask questions. You should have the basic intelligence to understand how complex these cities can be. Do some homework sitting in your hotel by Googling. Or ask the hotel desk before stepping out. They can give you clear info.

person eating alone in a restaurant was a bit pitied.
Your videos give such a great introspective to so many people like myself into different lifestyles around the world. Those guys at the restaurant proved one thing: No matter the environment or society, happiness and passion will always persist.
I like your vlog. One suggestion... When you talk to people who are not familiar in English, talk slowly. It's not London man😁All the best...
God bless you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love the videos man, keep doing the shit! This kind of traveling is my thing!
What camera and tripod/mic you use?
Cheers from czech!
16:25 that is the famous shop for jigarthanda in madurai
Ya,Famous Jigarthanda is the No.1 shop in madurai.
Others don’t taste so well like this shop✌️
I love your subtitles mate, splendid 👍
Old man rocked
White guy shocked ❤️🔥
Thank you very much for visiting my town and promoting tourism.
I salute you!
If they are from that city, they will not know. Only in India. Most people eat at home and people only get to know once they start working. Until then, they are not allowed to eat out except for small eats.
1:22 That word got me laughing hard as hell🔥
6:51 Welcome to our 90s kids society brother lol😂
4:40 Why does this guy choose to walk between them? There was so much space around them. Starting to see this in Canada and we see this as really intrusive.
This guy is pretty rude in general. Like most TH-cam travelers.
Bro your caption of the video is wrong 😢
In his country mental is a slang which means absolutely amazing. He is complimenting actually.
Bro .. come to Gobichettipalayam Erode district Tamilnadu.. stay in my home and explore...we will go to Ooty . Connor..

You have visited one of the food capitals of Tamilnadu or I can even say India ❤
I am from Madurai and I know you would have experienced a lifetime best food Parota, chicken gravy, mutton gravy and Tomato gravy are the best combination and finally minced parota ( kotthu parota ) which tastes out of the world🎉
And finally Jigarthanda which you had at last was the originally who started this drink in Madurai that's why they got the name Madurai Famous Jigarthanda 🥳
Do visit all the city's in Tamilnadu and enjoy the culture, our hospitality and food ☺️
dude because of u I got clarification about why people hate UK so much
Why do so many Indians move there then? Hypocrites.
What do you mean?
Tamilan 😂😂😂😂
South african✅😂
Perhaps you'd like to elaborate.
Because London has a limited good food list so you can tell easily 😅 but madurai has wide variety of list
Your videos have inspired me to sell everything I own and go travelling. So thank you.
Your amazing attitude and spirit are inspiring. So thank you.
It's very sad to hear the bad words she uttered on the foreign Vlogger. We should know how to welcome foreigners to visit our land. Inbound tourism to India can flourish only if the locals welcome foreigners with a good attitude and honest smile. I am a Tamilian who's operating International tourism business, Please do not ill-treat foreigners who come to visit our country, Please educate the locals. Nandri Vanakam.
What did she say?
She doesn't understand what he said and she is not educated why are you commenting on her for her it's like hearing an alien language and what will you do first you hear an alien language will you be welcomed with a great attitude or scream
Aaya lite ah fun pannichi neenga thappa purinjikotinga 🤣
@ seems like you are in tourism..you better go and educate that old lady by yourself Nandri Vanakam.
yep this guys just commenting for marketing.
If you ask me the same question...which is the best restaurant in my town, I will also struggle to answer...because we hardly eat outside! If you have asked him some famous restaurant, may be he could have answered!
Haha dude i absolutely love your content! I've started with recent videos from China but the deeper i go, the more i appreciate what you do. Brilliant mate.
THANK YOU BRO 👊🏻
Lol bro mhao when he goes back to England be like reverse culture shock 😂😂

???
06:20 He's not throwing up, he's rinsing his mouth. Usually, shopkeepers won't allow that way or people also don't.
Thanks a bunch for not misunderstanding regarding the old ladies curses , and you vedeo taped it , and showed it too 👍👏 that’s what is a good filmmaker is all about 👌
I really appreciate it 👍
Keep it up , your ardent fan from south India, …
This guy didn't take the time to communicate with the fruit vendor who thought this guy was asking for money!
Slow down man! Take time to think about what the person who is speaking with you is trying to help you understand 😮
@@drbenedictrajshe called him over there knowing he’s foreign when she couldn’t communicate outside her language
At 4:29 he says he does not know because they don’t eat veg food…very few ppl opt for it…only Brahmins or temple heads go there…that person is a local guy who prolly must have no interest in veg food…u can get good veg meals in a non veg hotel too…
The lady selling fruit misunderstood that you are asking her to pay money for taking video and started to scold you in bad words
Actually people are good here because of the language barrier they may seem rude
New subscriber.. enjoying your videos. Amazing temple. Wondering what kind
It's like inside. Quite an adventure. Admire what you're doing.
The street looks a lot cleaner than north india that ive always seen on ytb. Then why north indians acting superior to south indians when they are much less civilised?
Hygine is the only reason south indians, pakisthan, Bangladesh, srilanka and almost entire world hate north india...and they acting superior than others🤣🤣🤣
I just shocked Saw ur heading but watch ur full video it's really nice & this is the exact situation for labours in india & this complicated situation created by our politicians only bcse of full corruptions & anyhow thanks for sharing this content 🙏
5:42 Are you kidding with sibtitles or your translator is messing with you?
What he said is "Don't give this to me I have a monkey hand I might repair this. Take this" He is kidding too.
I am here after that instagram video. patti rocks. White man shocks😂😂
No point in asking locals of South about good food because most local people eat from their home. Home food and Mom's food is irreplaceable.
That guy was so wholesome, didn't even want anything to eat when you offered, just tea
"cast a dark spell in Tamil" 😂😂😂
0:19 holy shit is that an indigo marina?????
Oh damn! My mouth is watering looking at that yummy food 😍😍
Patti rocked😎
Mike okay shocked 😲
I’m from south India…we are sorry for the lady spoke bad words to you, she is very old lady and she is not educated, she misunderstood you
Very apt words for a pest influenza
@JxM572 most folks from the TN state are arrogant and annoying 😑 🙄 😒
1:20 💀💀💀
equals 10:52♥♥♥♥♥
1:20 இந்த கிளி கிழிக்கிறாலே எந்த ஊர்க்காரியா இருப்பா...😂😂😂
Madurai💀
😂😂😂
Love the shirt!
yeah ...if i did'int know any english and i landed in UK and tried fish and chips , i would be " yeah , local london food ...they have been making it for 900 years , same taste mmmm "
4:30 they don’t know because in south Indian especially in tamilnadu we prefer to eat home cooked food, even they working crowd takes lunch boxes from home. Only when we go out of station we eat outside. So locals know lesser compared to others that way.
Wow great to see u enjoying and exploring new places... Bless u❤
Looks like a little soul searching journey for you. thanks for being open. and also you need to speak to right person who can shine good light on the culture and food.
14:52 not cheap brother it’s affordable 🎉
I am pretty sure he meant the establishment operates 20 hours a day, and they take shifts
Give Respect & Take Respect, Old Lady ❤
The last shop of jigarthanta is very old and original one in madurai, others are all copy version
Brits abroad frequently act with this unconscious assumption that others should understand them - rarely the other way around.
I mean English is the linqua franca of the modern world.
Bcs they thinks english are universal
Good message at the end Mike
They charged u very less , they treat u as their guest😂 otherwise it will be around 3.5-4USD. Like your personality, you are friendly and passing your vibes to all around you that why they welcomed u in their kitchen. Finally they called you anna. Like ur their big brother. ❤ love from Madurai. 🎉 keepup ur good attitude and personality.
