  • Craig Phillips introduces the Wagner XVLP Finish Control 3500 paint sprayer. XVLP stands for Extra Volume Low Pressure (up to 0.2 Bar) so extra air volume to atomize the material which creates a very fine finish with very little overspray and paint wastage.
    The sprayer is available in 240 v and 110 v units so it is suitable for both domestic as well as site work. It has a powerful 700 watt brushless motor 220w atomizing power, total weight of 2.3kg. Its supplied with a the StandardSpray attachment in the box. This has the Visco nozzle technology which produces a high-quality spray pattern, even with highly viscous materials. This is achieved using the 4.1 mm slot nozzle with a flat jet which also ensures a rapid working speed.
    Additional accessories are available including the Fine Spray attachment which is the perfect solution for low-viscosity materials, it comes with a Round jet nozzle (1.8mm) with fine spray pattern and a 1000ml stainless steel pot.
    The Wall Spray attachment is for spraying larger, flat surfaces. Professional solution for emulsion jobs. Visco 4.1 mm slot nozzle: The perfect solution for the fast application of high-viscosity materials using the 1400ml container.
    The Carry case is large enough to hold the unit and two spray attachments standing upright, which can also be transported filled so material preparation can be done offsite.
    The product is ideal for:
    ✔ Touch up jobs or small detailed work
    ✔ Much less overspray than airless
    ✔ Can arrive onsite with filled paint pots ready to spray
    ✔ Easily change attachments to quickly change paint, refill or clean the gun
    ✔Quick to clean you don't have a long hose filled with paint as you would have with an Airless sprayer.
    FC 3500 is very easy to control and handle with complete adjustment to match the material being sprayed and the surface it is being sprayed onto.
    It has a paint material volume adjustor to precisely control the volume of materials applied to the surface. The airflow is also fully adjustable to suit the material being sprayed.
    Craig shows the spray orientation for vertical or horizontal and spray width settings allow adjustment for what you are spraying.
    It has a two stage trigger which starts the turbine easily on the gun by pressing the trigger to the first stage to build up the turbine and get the air up to speed then press the trigger completely to start the material flow.
    Craig will also show the quick-change and easy clean spray attachments which allows you to change between different paints quickly and easily and to clean the attachments.

    Thank you once again Craig. I have just swapped out my Pro 350 for this. The only reason being it takes longer for me to clean the 350 than it does to paint!

      Both excellent machines but yes - the 3500 can be slightly quicker to clean out! Thanks for your comment.

      Hello Derek If you're only covering small areas, an XVLP Finish Control FC 3500 sprayer would be suitable for woodwork and maintenance work on walls. If you're covering a lot of wall surfaces you would be better with an airless sprayer, you can see more details of these on the website www.wagner-group.com/uk/contractor/products-and-accessories/building-trade/.
      Kind Regards WAGNER

      Hello Dean Yes that is no problem to take a break. If any paint drys on the nozzle you can wipe it clean but there is no need to clean it all out. Kind Regards WAGNER Professionals

    What about the filters, how often am I to change them?

    • @WAGNERContractor
      @WAGNERContractor  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Lamech, this will depend on how often you use the sprayer and what sort of environment you are working in. You can clean the filters out but they should be replaced regularly based on regular use of the sprayer.

    How much is int the Air? Is it OK to use it in a crowded place....?

      We recommend the use of PPE when spraying - face mask etc. With proper technique spray mist can be kept to a minimum but you will need to consider other people's comfort and safety when using spray equipment.

    Are these better than their consumer DIY version.

    • @WAGNERContractor
      @WAGNERContractor  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Ziyad, the FC3500 and FC5000 are professional quality sprayers and a significant upgrade from the consumer version. They have higher atomisation power, metal construction, belt clip and more. You also get access to the contractor warranty giving you 5 years cover.

    Hello, is it suitable for painting a car or a motorcycle ?

    • @WAGNERContractor
      @WAGNERContractor  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi! We would not recommend this sort of sprayer for vehicle paints. You would need to look at our HVLP setups for a better result there but it is a highly specialised process that requires specialist equipment.
