Craig does a really good job presenting these product videos. I just purchased the Fence & Decking sprayer and its fantastic. After trying to paint a fence panel by brush which took 40 minutes and bored me to death, the sprayer did the panel in under 10 minutes.

I’m looking for a sprayer to start finishing my furniture build designs , in mdf and pine , initially I am thinking of getting the deck and fence as it seems to be fine for that sort of work ? Would you say this is correct
Hello Scott If you are spraying furniture you would be better with the W590 or W690 as this allows a finer finish than you would achieve with the Fence & Decking sprayer. Spray MDF is a real time saver as you can cover the surface very quickly. Good luck with your projects.
Is the small nozzle on the 590 good for furniture painting & does it give a smooth finish, or should I also buy the "EXTRA BRILLIANT nozzle for a particularly smooth finish", or EXTRA DETAIL nozzle? I intend to use chalk paint (watered down a little)
Hello Angie you can spray furniture with the standard spray attachment supplied with the W 590 however with both of the additional attachments that you mentioned you will get a finer finish. Chalk paint does gives a nice flat finish so I would recommend trying the standard nozzle attachment seeing how you get on and you can always order the additional attachments if you want that enhanced surface finish at a later stage. Close to 20 years ago I repainted the exterior of my house with my brothers Wagner sprayer. It had a hose attachment that you could put into a gallon can of paint to carry with you instead of filling the little bucket, constantly. Great for ladder work. Wondering if one of these comes with that kind of attachment.
Edit: House looked great but could use another coat after 20+ years.

Don't ask me how, but today some primer got into the motor housing of my flexio 990 and has subsequently stopped working. Is there anywhere in UK I can't get it fixed? It's very strange because the machine hasn't missed a beat since I've had it, any help greatly appreciated.

I have questions on some products not listed here. 1st off I'm not an experienced painter. My wife wants to flip furniture and I'm a welder/fabricator needing to paint steel. I was looking at buying a Flexio 4000 but then came across the Wagner Moto while browsing TH-cam just like how I landed here. I really like the idea of doing my truck bedliner but can Moto also be used for furniture too? And can I use oil based in either? thx

Can you ship it to Singapore?
I emailed Wagner UK to check if I could spray masonary paint with the Flexio 690 & was told 'no'.
Then I've seen this video which states you can spray smooth masonary paint with the 590.
So which is it?
I've had a response. The Flexio machine CANNOT spray masonary paint...!! Misleading...
Does anyone know the difference between the flexio 575 and 590?. On amazon it says thr 575 is the newer model to the 590. Tia

the difference between the W 575 and W 590 FLEXiO are the volume regulation and dimensions:
W 590: variable air volume regulation , 28.5 x 15.5 x 39 cm; 3.1 kg
W 575: 2-stage air volume regulation, 32 x 28.5 x 24 cm; 2.8 kg

Overall the 590 flexio seems like a more practical option, it has two tanks, and all in a carry case, imagine transporting the 690 tubes around there bound to get stepped on and pierced and takes up more space in storage if you want to do ceiling buy the extension gun for the 590 for the ceiling. I think value-wise the 590 is excellent as it comes with a carry case etc

Hi Wagner , i got question. I got wagner 950 , i don't know how to remove handle from my spray . Is there any part i have to press ? Or just pull out? 🙄🤔
Hi. The gun and spray lance remain attached - you just need to disassemble the end of the spray gun to clean it out. The rest of the spray gun will just need wiping down.
Hello, I have bought the 950, but having severe issues with it. When I try to spray a fence, the paint doesn't defuse properly, and gets thick drops of paint on the fence. No matter what I try, and how well I clean it up again, problem stays. It is a brand new machine, I just received last week..

If you're spraying homes you want an airless.. hvlp is to fine a finish and is to slow ... 20 frames takes 25 mins with airless
Can you use oil based paints? If yes how do you clean up?
Hello Marc yes you can use oil-based paint the procedure would be exactly the same as if you were cleaning with water which you can see here: 4:57 However, after returning the paint to the original tin if you wipe the inside of the spray attachments with an old rag or paper towel this will remove the majority of the paint. Then pour in some white spirit and spray this through into another bucket and you can then reuse that white spirit once the paint has separated to the top to clean the rest of the components. Hello If you are looking for a consumer sprayer for doing work on your own home the WAGNER Control Pro 350M Airless paint sprayer would be suitable for spraying both the exterior and the interior. Can someone tell me what that blue tape stuff is he's using to mask the fence post when painting the fence please and what the other plastic cover stuff is called
Hi Wayne, different manufacturers will have different names for it but you want to look for a heavy-duty tape suitabel for outdoor use. It will need to be able to adhere to rough surfaces. Hello The WAGNER W690 Flexio sprayer is designed for spraying wood, metal, walls and ceilings and the spray finish is superior to what can be achieved with a brush and roller. It uses HVLP technology which is High Volume Low Pressure. The low material pressure with the high volume of air ensures slightly larger material droplets and therefore less spray mist. Car sprayers often use specialist paints, processes and air compressors which generate very fine material droplet but also lots of overspray in the process. I'm thinking of getting a 690 to paint my boat with as it seems a little more compact, for those hard to reach nooks and crannies. I want to paint it with old fashioned alkyd paint, I don't need an automotive quality finish, just good coverage and control. Is this unit suitable for such a project?

I recently painted a door and the only texture visible in it is what was present in the factory primer! As this was just a test using matte paint I couldn't be happier. The best door I ever painted! I now have 100% confidence the boat will come out fine. Thanks for a great product!

Would Wagner Flexio W590 model be suitable for solvent based, viscous pliolite masonry paint?
We do not recommend our HVLP range for spraying masonry paint as it can be very thick.

Hello David you can spray metal paints with the W590 but to achieve an automotive spray finish this would require an air assisted sprayer rather than an HVLP sprayer which is the type of spraying techonology used for the w590. Kind Regards the WAGNER DIY Team

Can you spray clear laquars with the 690

Used the Decking and Fence Sprayer today first time spraying. Did 15 panels a large decking area and decorative external wooden stairs.
Absolutely fantastic, easy to use, fantastic coverage and cheap at 70 pounds. Highly recommended 10/10 for me.

You forgot to mention they all have non-replaceable carbon brushes.... Because you want a normally easy to replace part that has a finite lifespan, be a failure point to guarantee a maximum lifespan.

Why o why have you "Wagner" not done more to show the range in more uses from Varnishes to metal paints to hobby use, why is this product not boosted to use in so many applications. the W950 should be the one-stop-shop for all paint applications, but all you have shown it can do is paint a fence or a wall in water-based products, put more effort into the DIY range as you are not promoting the power of this product, Plasitdip, Truck bed liner, 2 pack paint on cars and more. other kit out there is not just painting walls and they only cost £30. put more effort in
