How to properly change the coolant on your motorcycle.
Changing the coolant on a motorcycle.
Antifreeze replacement.
According to the technical regulations, you should change the coolant in your motorcycle every 2 years. Special antifreeze for motorcycles should be used as coolant.
In which cases it is recommended to flush the system:
You do not know what antifreeze is currently in the system
You do not know when the antifreeze in your motorcycle was last changed.
There is a dirty deposit in the expansion tank
How to flush the cooling system:
Drain the old coolant from the system
Fill the radiator up to the neck with distilled water.
Start the engine and warm it to operating temperature (the fan should turn on).
Wait until the engine cools down and drain the water.
Changing the coolant
Procedure for draining the old antifreeze:
Make sure the engine is cold or warm but not hot
Unscrew the radiator filler cap; this will make it easier for the exhaust fluid to escape
Drain the antifreeze by unscrewing the bolt on the pump
Stand a container and drain the old antifreeze for about 10 minutes.
After draining, tighten the drain bolt.
Pour out the liquid from the expansion tank.
Procedure for pouring in new coolant:
Make sure the drain bolt is fully tightened
Fill the expansion tank with fresh antifreeze to a level between the maximum and minimum values.
Pour antifreeze into the radiator up to the filler neck.
Start the motorcycle and warm up the engine to operating temperature, take it for a ride.

На сузуки нету сливной пробки. И на зизере 400м тоже нету

Привет 🤝 Потому что антифриз, когда он разливается на асфальт становится очень скользким. Уборка антифриза с асфальта берет очень много времени. Чтобы не останавливать сессии мотоциклистов, все должно работать очень быстро. Из-за этого они просят заливать дистиллированную воду вместо антифриза, чтоб другие мотоциклисты не подсказались во время езды.
