Great video thanks! Same boat here, panasonic S5 user who's been doing more photo recently. Would you say the r5 lowlight issues are more relevant with video, or is the r5 not great in low light photo as well? One thing I find amazing about the panasonic S5 is it does a great job with noise at higher iso's when doing event photos.
Chris I had a similar issue with my SL2s. Not sure if you’re shooting M or A - but if you had exposure comp set in A mode, then moved back to manual, it was translating that exposure comp to manual for some stupid reason. Long story short, making sure the exposure comp was at 0 in A mode, showed me the accurate preview in m. Absolutely drove me nuts. Hopefully it’s a similar issue with the S5iiX!

Would you take the r6ii over the Linux s5iix
If I shot 50/50 stills and video I would go with the canon. If it was 60% video or more, I’d grab the Lumix!
Very helpful AND I have an opportunity to get a r6ii and 24-70 for 3k with bag, sd card and tripod lol

Constant preview on Lumix cameras will show you the true exposure
God these setups get crispier and crispier.
This guy always pumping me up! Appreciate you homie 🫡
No it's not worth it to me because I don't shoot video and the still image features are not that much better than the R5.
Yeah what Lumix does with exposure is weird. There are workarounds but it's not ideal
Cameras don't have colors or looks. ACR, or camera raw converter that's another topic. You can mimic any camera in ACR with dcptool.
Yes they do
@@RockyMaiviaMiamiI can see you understand a lot 😂😂
