😄I have a similar issue with my 2016 Tacoma bumper cover flaring out at the same joint line. I was hoping your video would show me how to fix it. But, I see the complexity of the interlocking matrix of cheap plastic panels, hidden screws and fragile tabs and clips that seem to be designed to snap if you breath on them, are too much for our patience level. Thanks for the entertainment though.
Well... I ran over a fallen tree and that caused me to put the TACO in the shop. The shop said the bumper was pulling on the fenders and broke the clips. I need to move the bumper out more, away from the fenders. Being lazy though

The dealer told me that the bumper was too heavy. Although it's mounted to the frame? It is the plastic clips...
Did you ever figure out the gap between the bumper cover and fender?
