How did you record this game? I’m trying to start my own channel and I’d like to include every title in the Resident Evil series including Survivor and Dead Aim.
One thing I really like about this game is that you can finally get a good look of all the enemy models. In most RE games, the camera angle, and your character, are constantly obstructing the view of the enemies.
Man, I remember buying a pirated copy of this game with a friend. We both pitched in some money so we had some kinda co-ownership of it lol...
I remember being really curious about it cause I had NEVER heard of this game. Oh, I'd played other RE games but had never heard of this one so we went in blind. Imagine our surprise when we found out it was in first-person haha.
The intro reminds me of something I kinda miss from older RE games and it is the quiet introspective lines you'll read here and there. You know, the ones that go "I must survive this." or "Are the faint sounds of footsteps those of survivors...?" Now, it's been a few years since I played the old school RE games but I seem to recall that those lines popped up whenever you loaded up a save. I think they did a good job at kind of... putting you in the headspace of the character you were playing as.

Great upload! Say what you will about this game, but there are still some great aspects to it. Plus, that Hypnos tyrant is freaky!
I had this, you could play it with a light gun.
Though this game does not share the same glory as the OG RE 1, 2, & 3 of PS1, this still is a great addition to the series in terms of both as a game and lore.
As a game sure but lore wise in my opinion this adds very little

5 Reasons They need to Remake this game as a PS5 PSVR 2 Exclusive btw those PSVR 2 controllers look heat!
1. the RE Engine will be Fully utilizing AMD RDNA 2 & Zen 2 Microarchitectures on Console.
2. Capcom has a Deep Technical Expertise on PlayStation Hardware PS1/PS2/PS3/PS4/PS5.
3. Development on RE7 with PSVR in mind will help contribute to making a Next Gen VR Horror game.
4. The PS5 Exclusive technology with it's 3D Audio Tempest Engine & Unique SSD will bring Horror to life.
5. They should add the Storyline Resident Evil: Dead Aim to retcon events that happened after Raccoon City!

It can be saved.. The thing is that when you saved it and get killed, you start from the beginning. The only thing that loads is the ammo and items. But not the progress.

I dont get why people hate this game, i loved it back when i was young, the atmosphere was super, my favorite was Resident Evil 3, followed by Re2 and this one. this was the first one i completed in full. so it has a special place for me. sure the voice acting is bad, but that doesnt matter much when you are a non english speaker, or young.

Being invulnerable to enemies that you are not facing is a bizarre design choice.
The worse Resident Evil game with the worse voice acting in any resident evil game, I bet these voice actors were on drugs sure the first games had bad voice acting but this game shits on the original cheesy voice acting, anyway nice gameplay
Also by the way it’s not because I’m judging or anything no it’s really bad I’ve played it myself and if you want to experience the game watch avgns video, also I would like to also point out like every TH-camr SHN is a master of horror games so of course he’s going to be really good, their are so many problems with this game that you should just watch AVGNs video.
It is indeed worst resident evil, but if you played this as a kid back then. You enjoyed everything. As for me this was my first resident evil as my parent bought psx with this as bonus disc. Have special slot in my heart.
IIRC Capcom hired a Canadian company to dub their games locally to the West. From what I've read the company were only given the lines and told to read them.
