The most memorable part of the Resident Evil series, not of the bosses, but Chris punching the sh*t out of a boulder.
To be honest that’s the only reason I played 5. I tried it at the start and found the controls hard. But I wanted to see the Boulder punching.

It’s also probable that if you injure it the regenerative capabilities of the thing might turn it into an irregular mutation, better to fight it in a stabled mutated state than an irregular one

It always unnerves me looking at normal Birkin side by side with any of his later forms. It shows just how far G will go to keep its host alive one way or another.
To think that the likes of Krauser and Piers almost became the perfect BOW soldier.

What makes Birkin the best and most terrifying is that he's lost all control, is in complete agony, and the G is literally pursuing his own daughter to breed with her while he seemingly watches. It's twisted af. All other mutants, besides Steve, are just a bunch of manchildren throwing tantrums.

What I want to know is how the viruses and subsequent mutations have the ability to create matter. It's not like they all had that much material to use when the mutation started. And yes I know it's a video game so real world physics gets thrown out of the window faster than Jill tackling Albert through said window. (Looks at Jill picking up a railgun in the Remake with her spaghetti arms.)
@Road rover No. Matter cannot be created nor destroyed. Dividing cells do not, can not, and never could create matter. The baby consumes food, not creating matter but adding other matter to itself. And over decades may become that 6'5" person with no matter being created in the process.

Well, it's the closest thing to a symmetrical form he ever had. The closest he got to perfection.
Because before it, he was only mutated on one side, and in all subsequent forms, he just grows into a more morbidly obese, incoherent mass of eyeballs and tentacles.
All of this and it still doesn't beat failing the plane bit in RE5 failing the QTE and having to repeat it listening to Wesker saying CHRIIIIIIIIIS
The one that I've always remembered is Ricardo saying "I've just had an extreme makeover".

Funfact, the one Mutant (I think his name is Norman) who was blinking around the arena is actually using biology based on a theory that certain flashes of light can cause us to hallucinate/flat out see through certain objects
I thought that much like Piers or Alexia who can produce and control electricity and fire respectively, Norman could control light and twist it. So I always thought that he used afterimages or reflections in order to distract us from the real Norman.

It's not size. It's ability that counts. Miranda by far is the most dangerous final boss in the series.

In the end. Either man made structures, weapon (s) or nature dierectly or indierectly will kill off a villian. Wesker was held down by nature and killed off by a weapon. It be neat to see nature have the finishing kill on a villian at end of game. As a shocker.😅

The creepiest thing to me involving transformations via virus/parasite, even seeing how advanced the later viruses are where the host can control it they never show the ability to transform back to human form. So basically it feels like their transformations are purely a last resort and they can never turn back.

Birkin will always be the OG of monster transformstions, he starts as a lesser Tyrant, then he becomes something that looks like a Tyrant but way more powerful. As transformations goes on you can see how Birkin human face gets swallowed by the new monster flesh. Third transformstion is just s perfect monster, super strong, agile and there is no sign of birkin humanity anymore. Fourth transformstion is just a hellhound, a thing from nightmares and the 5th transformation is something horrifying, the monster wont let you go.
Truly a persistent opponent.
Dimitrescu is meh, Simons tried hard to copy Birkin and it didn't work, although his T-rez mutstion was cool.
Nemesis is ok. Alexia should have stsyed first form
