@@gerry6420 @gerry6420 Great video gerry. Really enjoyed watching that. Only stumbled upon your channel lately and love it!! Youve great vintage machinery 👌👌👍
Missed out on the hay at home this year but am delighted that they have it got before last nights rain. These videos are always the ones I love, especially showing jobs I used to do when down home more regularly. I keep a close eye on the rowing up for awkward corners or obstacles like poles, etc in case I’m doing that job again in the future . Thanks for another great video Gerry.
Hi Gerry, "Thanks be to Jesus" as right 😂. Well done and so happy for you that you got it all done before the rain. It looks to be in great form and in the short window you had to get it fit too. You and your Dad had a busy day but great to have all the machinery and it running well which makes it all so rewarding. New baler is making a lovely bale for sure. Mine is still growing so let's hope and pray for next week, I am calling on Jesus again 😇. Brilliant video as always.👏
great to see ya got ur grass in good shape,, that 995 looks well with the haybob,,,great oufit turn er on a saucer,,, hard to beat the old way doing things,,,for 4 k she do same job,,, not all about big horses and big cost,,,
Great video great drone footage nice looking hay 👍been doing the same here until the bill hook broke had to weld it back together don't think anyone would have one for a 1959 bamford bl58 😬it worked 308 small square bale
Few memories recalled there. Had this very David Brown Corgi Model as a kid, superior hitch mechanism to Brittan's tractors if my recollection is correct. I still preferred the real thing - Massey Harris (gold engine)
10:07 I used to be the "bale slave" on a trailer behind the press and it was bad 👎😒 but at least I was standing up and stacking with a fork. That poor sod sitting "guiding the traffic" 🤔 will his rear end ever be the same again? 😱😉 Nice video-work 👏👍
Well done! Several around here have tried hay this week raining all day today though 😤 wasn't on the forecast till tomorrow 😬 brings back memories spent many hours on db 995 and haybob
Gerry you ought to see if you can demo a Bale Bandit. puts 21 little bales into a stack of 3 rows of 7 tied together. You just load the cubes on a trailer and roll on
Hi gerry hows it goin . Hope u and family all well . I keep meaning to ask you . Did the farm run david browns before u started amongst john deeres ..im lovin ur old brown shes in very tidy nick . I used to have an 880 selctomatic it went away years ago i lost my storage as the folk who rented the farmhouse and a few of the outbuildings left . And i had nowhere else to keep her . Shed bn on the same farm from a year old it was a chocolate and white one not the hunting pink as on your own one . Fun fact that the paint code for the white is the same as the landrover white . Same ral code or it was years ago . Its probbs changed now . All the best pls take care ...
Well done excellent video you have some lovely tractors and machinary, iv just bought a 995 dosent look as good as your though keep up the good videos!!
Your timing with the hay was spot on Gerry, well done. Just a question re rowing, what's your thoughts on leaving headlands til last to row? Maybe that's a question for pops!!
Great video, just wondering gerry, how come you don't use a John deere mower instead of a kverneland, considering your balers and nearly everything else is John deere??

John mcgee Ive messaged the people associated in your comments to ask them if theres any reason you keep bringing them into your comments. . Its worrying that you can easily throw innocent girls names around like that.
It’s more a bale issue... some times 2 bales sticks together and causes the sleigh to jam. Man on sleigh can pull them apart. Only happens the odd time. Depends on the type of grass going through the baler
Good video, but a man on the cook's sledge is away to loose a life, I have used a cook sledge for 20+ year's never needed a body on it need to have a little think to yourself buddy, Safely home everyone everyday
Smashing Video Gerry, I could watch hours videos of your Brown working, she's a cracking example!!
Brian O'Regan just as well... I had 5/6 minutes of footage of it in action 😂

Good man Gerry. You've got great machinery around you there. Wrong shade of green for me but they're serving you well.
Great video on baling hay and the David brown is looking well 👍👍😎 keep er lit
Nicely done gerry👍. That little square baler is knocking those bales out well, ours struggles with the auger, think it needs the belt changed.
Thinking back to the 996 we used to have I always wondered why the designers made the cab so high?
The smells coming out of that field must be unreal! Hot oil, diesel and hay....mint.
Few memories recalled there. Had this very David Brown Corgi Model as a kid, superior hitch mechanism to Brittan's tractors if my recollection is correct. I still preferred the real thing - Massey Harris (gold engine)
That model be worth few quid now I bet..... good memories

great vid gerry. thank you,it may be possible the knives in the square baler are too far apart
They’re set tight but They might need sharpened.

Wear did u but that frame for the back of the square baler ??
Best vid ever. Amazing drone work. Well done.
Glad you got it bailed hope the weather picks up soon
It is very nice to see the d b on hay Bob
Always breathe a sigh o relief when u get the balin done before the rain 🤔😂 never noticed if u got rid o the vice grips on the square baler 🙄😂😂

Good stuff Gerry 👍
Good work on the drone great vid
Great stuff nice to get it..
Nice video Gerry
Gerry ur haybob makes much better rows than ours. I tried switching the tines to the 'row up' position made a worse row.
Gerry your dad the best on hay bob
Great video as always can you do with your dad in it gerry please
Your timing with the hay was spot on Gerry, well done. Just a question re rowing, what's your thoughts on leaving headlands til last to row? Maybe that's a question for pops!!
30 K 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻
i used to find David browns very light on the front when rowing up or tedding
Get a longer wheel base 1 should solve it
I rather that than heavy steering
How does the 64 handle the baler
Easy.... perfect size for a baler.... 69 is too big and awkward
What years the baler Gerry. It looks brand new
Great video, just wondering gerry, how come you don't use a John deere mower instead of a kverneland, considering your balers and nearly everything else is John deere??
I think he got a decent deal on it.
You cant bate the vintage machinery
What make of haybob is that one gerry.?
Meskrol. It’s 2007....has done lot of work but still very good. Cleans the ground very well when working....
@@gerry6420 Thanks for letting me know its a fantastic machine makes a great row, 👍...
Are u far away from Blackrock sea was up der Sunday
Great vid Gerry unreal drone work 👌🏻👌🏻 what did the poor divil do to get the job of working on the bale sled ?🤣🤣

What’s with the guy on the sledge , used to use a sledge like that and never had a problem !
It’s more a bale issue... some times 2 bales sticks together and causes the sleigh to jam. Man on sleigh can pull them apart. Only happens the odd time. Depends on the type of grass going through the baler
gerry6420 did ya get the issue with the knotter in the small square baler sorted or is the vice grips still doing a job?
graham dowling visegrip still playing a major role... 😂. Fix coming soon though 😊👍
Another great video Gerry. Are u still selling the blue carina? I’ll give u a good price for her
Not at the minute 😂 it’s my fathers run around
👌👌👌👌
Has the DB got GPS on it the rowing up is that straight lol
No GPS its all in the eye,
Are ye gone on holidays Gerry :)
Can u use a little bit less drone footage and more taking parts
How does the John deere baler perform in heavy crops gerry? I've a camless mchale and it's very good to take in grass.
Check it out on my channel
Is it a pz 250 or 200 haybob
It’s 275.... same as a pz 300 hay bob

Isn't that the way with hay always runing before the rain.an end up with a useless load ofshit.
