    Because of this video I've gone from just backing the base game to now going gameplay all in lol! These all look awesome! Super excited for this game. My gaming group is very excited too!

    Thanks for breakdown. Its funny though, I would actually put them in the opposite order. Feral being my #1. I felt like making the game harder for the survivors brings a higher level of coop that clicked with us.

      Yeah I can see that! We have been playing a lot more with the trait cards recently. Those had made for some interesting game and required the survivors to cooperate more than normal as well!

    Great synopsis! As someone who wants to introduce this to non gamers, which expansion would be best for them?

      I would say Feral Instincts! Both killers are very easy to play with majority of the cards being instant cards. They won't have to decide between playing a card or taking an action, letting them play cards and take actions in the same turn!

    How does the huntres work as you dont know where the survivors move. How do they trigger the traps? Could have had that information in the video

    • @gamingwiththepowers
      @gamingwiththepowers  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      12:19 in the video I explain that when a survivor enters the location with a trap it gets activated immediately and the survivors must announce they activated a trap.

      @@gamingwiththepowers so the traps are placed on the survivor's board, and therefore not hidden and survivors can always see where the traps are placed, isn't it?

    • @gamingwiththepowers

      @@christianschuster5924 ah I get where you are confused now apologies. The survivors will be given 4 tokens with a ? on them and mirror on their map where the killer placed theirs. Yes the survivors will always know where the traps are, but they will not know what kind of trap it is.

    Hello, first of all thanks for the video!
    I have a question about George and his notes:
    We found that, playing with his note where he gets infinite +2 defense with another item is very op even versus stronger Killers, because for example combined with the longsword (which is also permanent) it guarantees you already 5 Defense + 4 potential dice throws.
    Did we get something wrong or is it really that strong?
    Thanks in advance!

    • @gamingwiththepowers
      @gamingwiththepowers  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      George's notes are considered an item and must be placed in his inventory. Because of this you are only allowed to select one item to defend with. You cannot defend with his notes and the longsword at the same time. You must choose one or the other to defend with. Both those items when used will not be discarded.

      @benji68 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So how does it get +2 defense with another item if you can‘t use it with another item? Your answer makes no sense. The note does what coaw wrote: they modify the defense of another item by +2.

      @@coaw97 Here is the response from Ice Makes "This particular George's note card will allow you to add +2 defense to any other item you choose. This is the only condition in the game allowing to use more than 1 item when defending. Normally you can only select one Item to defend with. So in the case of having Georges notes + Longsword you will indeed get +7 strength when defending on top of your rolls from dice. This note card will also serve as an item itself so plan accordingly, and you also cannot use the note card by itself to defend for +2. It must be used in combination with another item"
      Hop that helps! You were indeed playing it correctly!

    This was exactly the video I was looking for. Great explanation and presentation. As someone who seems to have alot of experience with terrorscape how are you seeing the newest expansion? I know its not out yet, so just based on your impression do you think you would recommend it the most since it offers 3 survivors and 1 Killer similar to the statues. Or is there a thing that worries you? Plus the newest expansion is nearly double the price.

    • @gamingwiththepowers
      @gamingwiththepowers  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Here are my thoughts on the new expansion!
      1. The map looks survivor friendly at first, but then when they mention collapsible passages which essentially cuts the survivors off and limits them to only certain paths that can be a massive advantage for the killers. I see The Strangler, The Queen, and Spectre really excelling on this map.
      2. The new killer seems like a stronger version of The Strangler. Wants to put stuff around the map, but can kill in a single turn and mind control a survivor which can be game changing. Still looks to be a late game character in wanting to get her zombies set up around the board, but who knows.
      3. It was hard to tell about the new survivors without seeing seeing their abilities. Dylan looks to be able to take an extra hit, which if that's the case is really strong. I like Caleb's lucky coin being able to mill through the search deck faster and have a push your luck aspect and Ophelia I'm guessing is going to help boost the team.
      4. I would honestly recommend it the most if you were only looking to get one expansion. It would give you 8 survivors and 4 killers with the core box. I don't feel like the 4 killers would ever get stale and you have killers that would excel on both maps. I plan to do a video giving my thoughts on the new expansion and diving into the value of the box
