Today's full home tour is in response to the many requests I've received from viewers to show all of my home. This is not a tour to music. I'm walking viewers through each room, showing before photos, and explaining what I've done to update my single-wide mobile home, followed by a Q&A. Also showing photos of the exterior. I purchased a double wide 20+ years ago. It sits on several acres. I recently received my assessment and it is now worth more than 4 x what I paid for it! I love my place and have no regrets.

Only 19 years ago. I bought a 1-acre mobile three bedroom two bath. And I renovated it to the hilt. And I insulated it and drywalled it to home code spec. I live in Florida. Everything I have is paid off and was paid off in my 50s. I'm so happy with it I love it and 63 I retired myself at 57 years old and I do whatever I want and I love it. I love my property sanctuary in my home :-)
@@katherinekeon7034 what did you do to renovate it? I added a metal roof and some new linoleum and painted but mine is very well insulated.

Nancy, your home is absolutely adorable!! I love that you're so crafty and handy and only spend on the upgrades you know you can't do yourself. The kitchen sink, that really updated your space, but I know it was an investment. I love the faux brick wall, how creative. Your TH-cam channel really gives folks of retirement age financial encouragement for living on their own. This is truly a blessing, that you are sharing your beautiful home and the upgrades with us. For an AC option, you might think about a Mini-split. My husband had this installed in his shop, and it's very economical and cools amazingly in the Texas summer heat. I think it would be less expensive than an AC unit. His cools and heats his shop area. Thank you again for sharing, what a treat to see what you have accomplished on a budget.

Your home is just beautiful Nancy! As I was watching, I thought how it's a place that is so welcoming, so homey and comfortable, where friends would love to visit and stay for a chat! You have done so many things to make it your own, and it feels like a happy home! The projects you've done are inspiring...my goodness what a transformation!! She is wise to be renting in a privately owned park. Most of the huge mobile parks here in Arizona are owned by national companies. The rent goes up every year.😳 I have known of an older lady who had to move because she could no longer afford her rent & her son was not willing to subsidize the payment. All of her friends she made when living there for almost twenty years were so sad because she was truly distraught over moving into her son’s home in another state. The lot rent can be a huge concern for some folks.
I LOVE YOUR HOME, Nancy. Your two passions are admirable….wish we could attend church together. I am a new Christian & need to find a church - for the social aspect. I am a grandmother in Scottsdale, Arizona.
@Davis Holman I totally agree with you on the parks in AZ. I have a friend in Scottsdale whose park was deemed as tribal land a few years back.... now they are wrestling with what to do with all the homes there.
My wonderful smart hubby had the foresight 35 years ago to insist we move onto a private acre, which we later bought. There's no real guarantee that even a family owned park won't sell for the right price to a huge buyer. It's all about $$$

We bought in a 55+ park in 2021. Our home is 2004 model. 3 bed 2 bath 1560 sq. ft and a 12x12 screened lanai. We're located in Central Florida along the Nature Coast. Snowbirds currently. Really enjoyed your home tour. Your home is beautiful.
Our park has club house, pool, hot tub, shuffle board, golf league for the men, pickle ball , bingo and various other activities.

This is really nice. I wish all single and double-wides were so well-cared for, clean, and neat. I know different people have different tastes, but a clean space is always in style.
Thank you. Keeping a clean space is not costly. Anyone can have that, whether it's a traditional home or a manufactured home. And, you're right. It's always in style. 🙂
From the moment you step into your cheerful entry, it's like coming in from the cold...you instantly feel at home. I love the layout! It actually makes it seem like a double wide! My favorite room is the kitchen, with the Farmhouse sink and faux brick wall you created; as well as the over the stove cabinet to display your treasures. And your living room arrangement and furniture is lovley! So clever of you to create a "walkway" through the room, versus spreading the furniture all throughout the room. And no matter how lovely your dear home is [and it IS!], you are even lovelier, Nancy...such a calming presence and obvious love for the LORD. May He continue to bless and grow your channel--I see His hand in it already, judging by the many comments alone!!

I really love your creative transformation of your 🏡. I am glad you were able to make this lovely place what it is now. I really had no idea how long a single wide is. I am surprised at the amount of space there is and that you can have extra rooms for yourself to use.

Hi Nancy, I love what you did to your kitchen. It's beautiful. Your whole home is. I live in western NY. I bought a new mobile home in 2017. It is 14 x 76. I did a lot of upgrades and the final price was almost $74,000. I live in a park in my town that has 16 homes. It is not 55 and older. I am 70. Our lot rent is $420 a month and that includes trash and snow removal. Our town bills water by the month and mine is usual under $1. In the summer it's usually double. We don't have to pay taxes. I put an addition on which is 10 x 20. We had a large home and I sold it when my husband passed and got the mobile home. With 6 kids and 12 grandkids, I needed the addition. I also got central air 4 years ago and that was $3600. I wouldn't be without it in a mobile home. It's fun to hear about prices and the different things in other parts of the country. Very homey home. Lovely decor. I love how you refurbish thrift items and make them look, if not new, beautifully “shabby chic”. I would never think to do the things you do that turn out so well. Also the layout of the main rooms is very unusual and clever for a mobile home. Your home is absolutely lovely. My husband and I have lived in many different single wide mobile homes through he years and now live in a double wide modular/mobile home. We too live in a small community park. I love watching videos of others that have made changes to their homes showing how they’ve upgraded and personalized them on a budget. I love your home. You're very talented. I also love the floor plan of your home too. It looks more like a house on the inside. I know you said you don't like the mirrors over the garden tub, but if you put up curtains and tie them back it would add interest to the room. Just a thought. Maybe lace white ruffle curtains. Very cozy and welcoming and the remodle in the kitchen is awesome ! I lived in a mobile home for 5 yr.'s when first married many yr.'s ago,and enjoyed it very much. With creativity and know how there's not much you can't do. Great job !!

I just love your entry. Especially a coat closet in a single wide? I have that same print of the Shepherd holding the lamb with the nail pierced hands. You have so much storage!! And to live in a 55+ park! How wonderful.
I moved here in 2002. A family owned and managed it. They were so delightfully strict. They had to sell in 2018 due to health reasons and a corporation bought it. My rent has gone from $165/month for 15 years to just under $500. It is raised yearly. This park is now on the decline. We don’t have a manager most of the time because the company won’t pay an adequate wage. I’m thankful I have my teacher retirement, social security, and will be 65 next February. Plus I substitute a lot.
I LOVE my mobile home. It’s from a top Oklahoma manufacturer and it’s built like a stick built home. I’m so glad I found your channel. That you’re a single Christian lady (like me) means a lot! Have you ever watched the channel called Little Blessed Nest? Such a sweet couple.

Hello from Iowa! I am new to your channel. You home is beautiful. You have decorated it gorgeously! I love your taste in decor. Thank you for sharing your home with us. I love that you study your Bible. I am also a strong believer in Christ Jesus and teach Sunday morning Bible study for a ladies class in our church. We have 13 to 15 ladies in the class that I teach. I also sing with our praise team in our church. I have been singing for the Lord since the age of 14. I was saved by the blood of the Lamb at the age of 12 years of age. My husband also teaches the College and Career class on Sunday mornings. He also works in the AV booth doing the slides each Sunday morning for our praise team and for our Pastor. I also craft making intricate dimensional cards and gift boxes and sometimes make my own envelopes for the less intricate simple cards. I also have a craft room on the second story of our home. It is a 12 x 12 room that my husband fixed up for me after our sons moved out of our house. We took our first trip out to Colorado Springs last year. I had always wanted to see the mountains of Colorado for a long time. We were there for 7 days. It was one of the best vacations we had ever taken. We were blessed to visit Focus on the Family while there. Our youngest daughter has a friend that lives in Colorado Springs and works at Focus on the Family. We enjoyed having the tour Mary provided for us. Thank you again for your wonderful video. God bless you as you continue to work on your home. He provides so wonderfully for our needs. LOVELY. As a child I lived a majority of my life in mobile homes. Back then (1970s-1980s) people were looked down upon for living in one. BUT, we were homeless multiple times growing up, and our mobile homes were castles to us. I wouldn't hesitate to live in one again. Your home is absolutely lovely. I'm a crafter/quilter/thrift store shopper. It's amazing what a coat of paint or some new curtains can do to a space.

Too bad you cant take out that tub; unless you like taking baths. But, otherwise, its just a big waste of space. You could remove it and find a pretty French armoire to put there, and use it for storage space. ☺️👍

I love a big tub. I love the new tub in the shower ideas. I want a giant shower and tub idea that I can push my parents WC into the shower and hose them down if needed.

Lovely cozy home. You did such a lovely job decorating. There is a refinishing system for acrylic tubs/showers etc. I had mine changed from skin tone like yours to white. Looks and wears great.
