Exploring Tsukiji Market In Tokyo

We spent the morning exploring Tsukiji Market and stumbled upon this matcha spot which was one of the best matcha that I had in Tokyo! We then made our way to Unitora for brunch. A definite must try for all you uni lovers out there. Not to mention that I also tasted Cremia ice cream for the first time in Tsukiji Market!

This is for a future trip. Japanese people who are foodies and really love seafood will usually travel to Hokkaido (北海道). There are many wonderful cities in Hokkaido, such as Sapporo (札幌), Hokodate (函館) or OTARU (小樽). They have probably best sushi and uni in entire Japan. If you want the freshest sea food, I would highly recommend either Hokkaido or Toyama (富山) or Kanazawa (金沢). Historically, Toyoma Bay is known for their best fishes and shrimp.

We Stumble across Unitora way back in 2018… had bf there twice when queue lines were like 6-7 people… Some of Tsukiji stalls now have that touristy prices

No you can wear whatever you want. Just respect things that are ‘rules’ such as no tattoos in onsens, no sitting on priority seats. Everything else is just social preference, but no one will get offended, just expect that they’ll look at you more cause it’s different 😅
