- After getting my 2020 Maddog Gen 5 Chuckus, I wanted the Wide wheels look. Bellow you'll see everything i used to achieve this look.
- Front Hub 4x90 12mm
-Rear Hub Bold patter - 4-102
(Rear Lug Nuts - M12x 1.5 thread pitch)
-Rear Wheel - 13x8
-Front Wheel - 12x4
-Front Tire Size 100/60-12
-Rear Tire Size 140/60-13

They definitely mismatch the forks on some of the bikes, I swapped mine around like yours, and that is the correct way to do it. Great job! I love the look of yours!
i think that i am having the same issue. My forks are on the opposite side and my balance is way off in the front. i cannot seem to get it corrected. I will try swapping them like his.

I just ordered mine. it's coming with 14' wheels. But the different lugs nut is a cool idea. The wheels look good. Chrome on white doesn't look bad. You got 70mph out of it? Did you do anything on the motor?

I got the Maddog 50cc, because it wouldn't require me to get a motorcycle license. Also, I am just cruising on local neighborhood roads, so I don't need anything faster then 50cc. I chose the Maddog over Ruckus because of the length (I tested both, and the Ruckus is too short for me. I need to keep my legs extended more, and the Maddog also came with the foot pegs preinstalled so I could test it. I am really enjoying it.

I have a Gen 5 like yours it tipped over in a storm and now I need to straighten the wheel and handlebars wheels at 12 o'clock handlebar is at 1 o'clock any ideas on how to straighten?

Its clean bro! Do you have to install a GY6 engine on the iceberg maddog before you get the HUB or will it bolt directly on to the stock icebear ? I know that the short axle has to be put on as well to run the fat tire.

Sweet ride. I got my Gen 5 last November 2022. I am still trying to figure out the front shocks. How much oil did you put into them? Also, did you put any spacers in the shocks? Mine are slamming with every bump I roll over. What color code wiring goes to what on the headlight? Would appreciate your help. Thanks
i did't add fluid not spacers to the shocks. Just turned them around. Can't remember the wiring but i could probably make another video.

Dont worry, they put the front brakes on correctly from the factory now. but yea they were messed up and finally fixed it

Where did you get your headlight from
I need to change out the headlight on my gen 5, it’s pure caca and doesn’t shine much at night. Did you have to modify the housing at all when you installed the new light?
a 5.75 headlight fits right on the stock headlight bucket. Its just 3 clips holding the light in. Add a dc switch kit tho or youll have issues big time.

I'm pretty sure you need a motorcycle license if the scooter has an engine that's 50cc or bigger.
Doubt that stock 150 does 70mph the factory speedo is not accurate so i suggest u change it or download the gps one so you can be more accurate

Just take the forks out and put them on the other sides. Then flip the wheel. Done.

Smaller front wheel spins faster, fake 70. They do like 55 out of the box.

wheel = device used to roll things around

The gen 5 has 14 inch rims. That’s why the front forks are swapped. The tire comes too close to the frame if you flip it like this guy. Why get the gen5 if you were going to swap wheels. No big difference between gen 4 and 5. Most of the differences are only cosmetic.
There's plenty different that we'd have changed on a gen 4 that would easily exceed the cost difference for the look we wanted out of the gen v.
I have a gen 4 and purchased a fatty tire 205/30r12 but can't find a wheel for it???!!!!! Any help on that please?
@@blessedexpress4476 Good luck getting that 12 wide on a gy6! The motor would have to be moved 5 inches further out to get the tire close to centerline. Even then I don’t think you’ll be able to clear the oil fill tube. I can’t see it looking right having most of the motor and trans outside the bike. If you go with a 12x7 3-4 offset ( also listed as 4-3 offset, the valve stem will end up on the hub side ) and a 140-70-12 for the rubber. It will fit with a new hub. I got the MoJo hub and a regular Douglas wheel ( Douglas wheels have flat faces so flipping to the other side is no big deal, just don’t forget the flat face lug nuts ). That combo landed me pretty close to center line on the bike, no need for shims of modifications to the frame. The 140/70 is a stretch but it just barely clears the motor. Sorry read 305, guess I’m thinking of truck tires. Either way 12x7 with a new hub and short axle and a 140/70 is definitely the way to go IMO. Some have gone to the 12x8 but that requires mods to the frame along with the hub and axle. Chuckuslife.com has a good wright up on how to do it. I just went the easy way and stuck with a 12x7. That’s about all I know about the tire setups on these things. You can try to call monstergy6.com for more information. They seem to have dealt with these chucks more than Dorby, RollingWrench, or ButnoutBobby. I never really tried the anywhere else as they seemed more like parts dealers, but everyone I did contact was really cool and helped as much as they could. I’ve rebuilt my gen 5 ground up. Not a nut or bolt I haven’t taken off. You can peek my old setup on SmallEngineVelocitys channel here on TH-cam. It was the only Icebear in the trilogy brew meet up.

The headlight and wheels are the big difference. The headlight typically won’t last more than 200 miles. Mine went out in the 1st 60 miles. So what else do you think is different?
