I've Florida speed trailer checked a stock (57.4mm) 150 of mine topping out at 73mph. I don't have that kind of torque, but I can still spool up to that speed.

Nice idea, but i doubt it has higher than a 30-50 mile range. I just bought an entry level ebike that goes 20 mph for up to 15 miles. Will be upgrading to a Ruckus for the bump in speed and i can take it over 50 miles if i stop at a few gas stations

Yes I agree! like on trains the fuel powered engine operates at peak efficiency to produce power for the electric motor so you get peak distance plus top speed and torque so best of both worlds without the negative ultra short battery life.

Man this would cool as sh#t id definitely fund a way to get one well if its affordable. Everything has gotten ridiculous. Get that thing to about 150 miles at minimum and affordable they sell like hot cakes. I work for company that could probably sell the motors for this application too haha
I love the Honda Ruckus, I wonder if there is a way to implement this kind of electric power to enhance performance. Could you add an electric motor to a gas-powered Ruckus to gain top end speed, or torque? That would be awesome, because a standard Ruckus goes like 35-45mph depending on the rider.

It has regen. So it’s a lot like rear brakes. When you hit the brakes the motor acts as brakes
