    Really great meal! I substituted in Brown Rice which had to cook a long time before adding in the meat and mushrooms. I wish there was a recipe in the description, makes it easier to follow!

    Thankyou so much for publishing this recipe. It was SO GOOD and so unbelievably easy in the rice cooker.
    I used a mixture of Japanese rice and a bit of barley to add some texture, and added Wakame and extra vegetables such as corn, edamame and carrot to the existing recipe.
    Definitely staying in our cookbook for future reference! Xx

    Very easy to follow recipe. Reduced the ingredients by about half as I was only cooking for 2 person, the taste turned out great! And I used the rice cooker for this, quite hassle free.

    Hello! My Tefal rice cooker comes with a 160ml measuring cup (as opposed to the standard 250ml cup for baking). I wonder if you use this smaller 160ml cup for this rice recipe. This means 3 tablespoons each of light soy and sake, 1 tablespoon of dashi powder, topped up to 320ml liquid. Thanks for sharing!!

      @@asakusa-tokyokitchen I got all. It was so delicious.
      I tried these kind of mushrooms for the first time. Will bye this more often in the future, very tasteful and quite cheap in Berlin.

    Really enjoying your cooking show 👩🏻‍🍳
    Chef what Sake do you prefer to cook with? There is a saying , “you cook with the wine you drink.” Can you recommend a Sake for me please? Thank you, and I look forward to watching more of your videos.

      We normally use “cooking sake” . The one from Mizkan is I think the easiest to get outside Japan. You could use drinking sake but it’s sometimes too good and too flavorful for cooking😅.

    I love this little video and your tutoring. I'm making matsutaki takikomi gohan, but I could add some fresh salmon, if I can get my hands on some. I didn't quiet hear , did you say you sake or mirin in ?

    Nice recipe, how many days can i keep this in the fridge?

    • @asakusa-tokyokitchen
      @asakusa-tokyokitchen  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      2-3 days in the fridge, 2-3 weeks in the freezer 😊🎶. Make sure to heat it up to steaming hot before eating to regain the softness and stickiness.
