Even though this game is almost 10 years old, Asura is still one of the top totem pole of "Power fantasy". Make no mistake, Asura is super strong, but his rivals are pretty darn legit too. And probably one of the few game characters can hang in comic / anime book verses (like Superman, Silver Surfer, DBZ etc). Might not win them all. But he will sure as hell make them work for it.

Augus was your standard battle hound. He liked a good fight and that was it. Yasha was... an interesting rival at least. He certainly came off as cocky at first (As in the first time you fight him), but he did get a redemption arc started almost right after that fight.

I never played this game but from what I've seen here, it sounds like a game about an angry dad destroying people who call themselves gods with a serious face, destroying an actual god, and punching a few astronomical objects to smithereens along the way, all because they made his daughter sad.
