That super planet is large enough for him to actually take several seconds at the current speed he was traveling to breach through to the other side.

The official art book actually states that Chakravartin was sitting at the center of the Milky Way galaxy, which is only a little over 25,000 light years away. Asura makes it there in about five minutes, which means he would have to be traveling at least 3 billion times the speed of light.

As an Indian, having been exposed to Hindu and Buddhist mythology since childhood, but due to the sheer scale of the myths, not to mention the focus of the said myths upon detatchement from an illusionary external world, I could never comprehend the scales at which these stories operated. Their very grandiosity put me off their dramatic potential as human experience becomes meaningless at those levels.
It is only after encountering Asura's wrath that I could begin to better visualize the myths and realize their awe-inspiring dramatic potential.
Asura's wrath is very much a Japanese story with typical anime conventions and tropes yet they managed to tell that story without compromising the Hindu-Buddhist aesthetic. For all of that I thank the creators of the game.

@@boiboi1601 indeed, well, chakravartin should be at the same pedestal, he is the mantra weaver who have control over all laws and principles of the universe after, only, its because of the limited portrayal of the game that the size of their fight was compress. But it also makes sense, for godly being like them the size of the fight wont matter, at the end of the game with the final battle, both asura and chakravartin are human size, but every casual attack from them contains power to destroy galaxies and even the fabric of universe, it was a fight between essence of mantra after all, the winner takes all control over the mantra which governs everything

That exploding sun was laughable, again fiction showing the universe as something incredibly underwhelming, yet in real life there are storms on planets far more awe inspiring than this silly character.
It's hard to fathom the absurdly large sizes we're dealing with here. Asura becomes as big as a planet (conveniently not throwing Earth out of its orbit with his gravity, but whatever), and he's still small enough for Chakravartin to eat him in a single bite. Damn.

Chakravartin don't seem to remember that he isn't fighting all out in this form. He sees this as a test for Asura and still doesn't perceive him as a threat at this point. He doesn't want to kill him here, as he offers Asura the chance of ruling and overseeing Earth in his weird little water dimension (also where he actually fights seriously). In terms of total destructive power though, we never really got to see it.
The weird water dimension at the center of the universe where you fight him was the event horizon. Infinite gravity exists there.
im pretty sure we saw his full power when his creator form was first introduced. Even though the form didnt last very long you could still see its power just based off of its entrance, it literally erased chakravartins realm, unlike at the beginning of the fight where chakravartin just shattered it.

Goku and Beerus NEARLY destroyed a universe. Goku has become far more powerful at this point, and Beerus was holding back during that first brawl. Considering the effort Beerus puts into destroying planets also (aka nearly none).... yeah they are still pretty damn powerful.
At the very least, they are highly multi galaxy, and at their highest interpretation, they can blast apart universes by this point.

Revisiting this beautiful fight scene after 3 years. 3 years ago I was reading a Chinese fantasy, mythology novel named : The Buddha originated from the TAO, in the book the protagonist eventually went against his ultimate foe while they battled in the universe, destroying thousands of galaxies, billions of stars and lives within it. This right here is exactly how I pictured this fight, the ultimate anime shit that superheros can not even come close to.

This scene puts Asura in a league or his own. He completely makes hulk and other super stealth characters look like child’s play. One video game and he is clearly multi universal. He's multi galaxy, not universal. In Dragon Ball, universal threats are always a thing, and as far as God of War goes, Kratos is squaring up to gods, who in Mythology, have destroyed entire realms. I'm not saying Kratos is there, especially taking into consideration how insane Asura's feats are, but that doesn't mean he curbstomps everyone. He can definitely mop the floor with MANY of big name superheroes, but it doesn't mean he's above all, especially when compared to DC and Marvel, who are always rebooting to either buff or nerf their own characters. Hell, even Spiderman was given cosmic abilities one time! The Joker once got 12th dimensional abilities! Its freaking crazy.

He was actually supposed to be alot larger. In the Official Works, asura is the size of star in his destroyer form. The reason why it doesn't appear that way is because of engine limitations of the game.
