Ran my longest run (16 miler) today prepping for the Skidaway Island Marathon in Savannah, GA. It was the first time listening to a podcast instead of my music and really enjoyed it. Even ran my PB in the HM on the back end of the run. Great job guys!
Moderna booster had me feeling bad for about a day. The 2nd shot I thought I was dying for 24 hours. Sorry Meg, I feel ya! Great job y'all! Love watching y'all 🙂
This year, there is no Donna bus transportation from the parking lot to the race area. No parking at the start/finish either. It is in the low ‘40’s this week here.
Got the Pfizer booster and, 2 days later, raced a 20-mile trail race, the Loup Garou (Cajun Werewolf) in Louisiana. I love racing and do so, at age 58, every 4-7 weeks year-round. But the booster destroyed me. I was glad to finish and my Coros showed an elevated heart rate of nearly 20 extra beats per minute! Vaccinate - yes. But maybe wait more than 2 days before a peak race.
Felt like hell with Pfizer booster for 2 days with flu like symptoms. Funny thing is it went away just like that on the third day as if nothing happened......

Whoa! That's wild you even finished
It “destroyed” you and yet you still think getting it was in your best interest? That to me is absolutely crazy
@@jp05598 I do speed work regularly, too. And it also destroys me!
@@jp05598 cheers!
@@TrailrunnerTroy comparing the risk/ reward ratio of speed work with the covid vaccine is insane pimp
Can you let me know about the book you mentioned thanks, didn’t catch it and sounded interesting. Have a great weekend….
Atomic Habits. Thanks for watching!
Feeling ice-cold after the Pfizer shot...all too familiar, Meg, I feel your pain!
Power through!

Yep, Meg feels great now
17 inches is more than a foot. A foot is 12.
