Harley Davidson really makes you feel like you’re part of a big family. When I got my Harley my wife wasn’t able to come with me, I felt like a little kid explaining my time at Disney World. One of the best moments in my life so far.
Congratulations on your ST! When I rang my bell at Barnes Harley-Davidson in Edmonton, they had the thunder of half dozen Bikes roaring in the showroom. It was awesome!

@@fridaynightrydes I got a sportster. Wasn’t new but practically was. Get this it’s 2016 iron 1200. At the time I bought it it only had 150 miles on it. Something I guess bought it and parked it. Still was in the break in period LOL. Been modded up by me like crazy since then. I love the thing. I’ll check out your videos and subscribe for sure. Im working on growing my channel too. They were super helpful. HD left a lasting and good impression on me. I realize it's sales and they have to be nice but I couldn't tell. I just liked how they treated me with respect. Thanks for watching brother.

Congrats to you as well my brother! It was very humbling to see the kind of love and attention HD gives their customers. First time ever I wasn’t high pressured into something I didn’t want to do. They asked me timeline and when I think I wanted to pull the trigger. I gave them a month and they continued to support in the weeks leading up to the purchase. Pursuing and caring for your customer without being overwhelming is something they’re good at. I always say, you really don’t have to sell a Harley, they sell themselves. Congratulations! Last year I bought new street glide special and anticipate you will be very happy with this purchase. Mine is a dream come true. Seat and rear shocks and short windshield had to go to the trash. I also drilled small holes in the circumference of the rear exhaust baffles as apposed to spending money on slip on's.
I bought my first Harley-Davidson in 2021, a 17 Road King. I put on 3500 miles this last summer. Congratulations!

Congrats man! I work at a Harley Dealership here in Cbus, Ohio however I started out as a customer just like everyone else and the way I see it is buying an HD especially if it’s your first one is like taking your first step as a child. It really is a whole different life from there onwards.

Earlier this year I was on a road trip from Ohio to California. Made a side trip to Vegas. A problem came up on my street glide special. I went to the dealer that's on the strip. They said that they couldn't see me till the next day. I didn't want to wait and frankly I didn't think the problem was very serious. I just wanted the dealer to double check. After asking several times for them to squeeze me in I kept getting the same response. That's when I rode over to Red Rock Harley. I explained the situation and they said bring it in. After about 30 mins they said I was good to go. As I kinda figured it wasn't too serious, but I wanted to get it checked. Red Rock is great and next time I am in the area I will go there if need be and not to the dealer that's on the strip. If you do any long distance riding and camping like I do I would suggest getting the quick detachable king tour pack. When you have the tour pack on there's plenty of room for your gear and you can strap on some gear on top of it as long as you have the rack. With the tour pack on it's like a Cadillac. With the tour pack off it's like a sports car. Like having two bikes in one. Congrats on your scoot. Very nice. Be prepared to spend some hard-earned money. Pipes were first for me. That's cool that the dealer played the music you requested. Again. Congrats on your new ride.
Thanks brother. I’m glad RRHD was able to take care of you. I hate dealerships because I always feel took even when I negotiate what I feel is a fair deal. They usual ghost you afterwards but they sent me text and event reminders from my guy there. Glad you were safe on your way. I’ve been thinking about a tour pack because I travel a lot for work. Thanks for the tip. What’s the weight difference? Is it much harder to ride or pretty easy going once you get joint. How about the turn angles. Anyhow, thanks for watching my friend. @@fridaynightrydes If I remember correctly the king tour pack weighs about 45 lbs. Keep in mind that you need the passenger back rest and I have the large tour pack rack. You can really tell it's back there when you do slow speed maneuvers. Of course when you are going straight down the road it's hardly noticeable. Keep us posted on your upgrades. I have Reinhart slip ons and love them. They are not obnoxiously loud which I like. When camping I try to ease outta the campground and not make too much noise. And where I live I respect my neighbors and take it easy pulling out of my drive.

@@spoom937 well I had an experience with them. While shopping for my bike I contacted them to see if they had what I was looking for. I can't remember exactly what they said but they asked the price of my bike at my local dealer. I told them and they said that they would beat that price by $5k. I was shocked. So a few days later I went out to see the guy that had told me this over the phone. The salesman chuckled and said that "I just wanted to get you in the door." Needless to say that left a bitter taste in my mouth. So I won't be doing business with them unless it's an emergency.
Congratulations brother on the beautiful bike. I bought my first Harley, a Roadglide in reef blue on the same day, Halloween. Definitely didn't get that treatment from my dealership but I did get my bell rung. Lol. Could fit a half dozen of my dealerships inside red rock. Ride safe bro.
I got a low rider S 117 last week and its freaking crazy bike. I cannot wait for the 1000km service so I can rev above 3000rpm. oh yeah 🤙

Awesome video man. I bought my first Harley from a friend who needed some $$$ and he physically couldn't ride any more. My second (and current) Harley was bought at HD and we went through a similar thing to you. We had a poker run, (my hand sucked LOL) and the bell I rang was donated by a local FD and my dealership donates money to the fallen firefighters fund to help out their families. I helped my son buy a Harley and we too did the same thing and I got video of him ringing the bell. Its an awesome experience. Best part of it all is going for rides with my boy and teaching him how to work on the bike.

Congrats on your Harley! I bought my ‘19 Deluxe from Las Vegas Harley but have been taking my bike over to Red Rock Harley for service. Wife has a ‘14 Super Low Sporty that she bought from Red Rock Harley. Both places, it’s a production when you buy your baby!
Think about joining the local HOG chapter. It’s all Harley owners who just want to ride! They do a whole bunch of rides, just about every week. And some are just rides to grab a bite and back all the way to a weeklong ride. Back in May or so, we went to Zion in Utah for an overnight.
But, yeah Red Rock will definitely take care of you no problem.

Great Video. The ride home on your new Harley is always a memorable one, I decided to not take the freeway cause I wanted to cruise through town. Main road had water running across it. What a lovely new bike - Buying a HD is an experience. I'm in Sydney and I can't speak highly enough about Harley Heaven, Tempe. They are awesome. Even bikes with security systems like mine need a battery tender/trcikler unless you are riding every day. Great video - thank you

At the dealership I worked for, if you were interested in a bike they would value your trade and then make it vanish into the back. They would park you in the finance office where the F&I guy would determine just how much in cash, trade value and credit line you had to spend. Then while they wrote up the paperwork that would hand you off to a pretty girl in motorclothes and she would sell you a helmet, gloves and a leather jacket. The next stop would be parts and service where they would sell you at least a stage one kit so your bike would run right and maybe some pipes to let the loud out. The whole process is designed to open your wallet and most people are so happy to be getting a new Harley that they just love the experience.
The super cool thing about Harley is they actually expect you to come back occasionally to just hangout and talk. I dare you to do that with any other auto manufacturer...they'd end up giving you the cold shoulder or ask you to leave. Harley is its own culture.
Facts!! Harley is a lifestyle!! The dealership is an extremely fun place to just hang out!! You ain’t doing that with any other brand!!

Congrats on your sweet new ride! I got my first Harley - a new Road Glide Limited - last year, and I’ve been killing miles on it ever since. I still take time every day, even on days when I’m not riding because of the weather, to just stand in my garage and admire it. 👍🏻
I'm the same way brother. Had to ask my wife if I was being weird staring at it and shining it and stuff like that. It's a love that I never thought I'd have for a material thing. Thanks! I have a “channel”, but it’s mainly been to put stuff for the grandkids to see, and only a few at that. Though, for the last year or so I haven’t made video much of a priority. My wife and I really just enjoy the ride. I really should make the effort to post more… done some really cool rides in that time and planning more.

October 6th I bought my Ultra Apex from Gold Rush HD in Elko Nevada. Traded my 2018 Ultra Classic with 49765 miles on it. The 50k service is $3500 and it needed tires. The picture is from just outside of Goldfield Nevada. Hopefully having the "wet heads " will help in a Nevada summer.

Congratulations, I almost bought my Harley Heritage at Red Rock Harley-Davidson but the finance guy was a jerk so a few months later when the 2022 models were announced I went and bought at Las Vegas Harley-Davidson on the strip. I wanted the crimson and chrome and It took almost five months to come in after I placed my deposit. ( well worth the wait) They were much more friendly there however I didn’t get a parts book but they did give me a t-shirt.
Great video just put up some sound dampener pads up in your editing room or something for that awful room sound , glad you got the bike looks like a great choice

@@fridaynightrydes being 6'4", I like it quite a bit more. I don't feel cramped. It feels more limber. I like the added storage in the fairing you get with the road glide.

Congrats on the new bike, seems all I hear from walking into a Harley dealer is a pretty bad experience. However these guys seem like an awesome and genuine bunch and should be the example dealers should strive to be.
