    The pain I'd had in my left knee since tearing the ACL in 2014 was gone after 20 minutes of a partial JSJ treatment. Eighteen months of daily meditation practice, mostly twice a day, did not take the pain away. JSJ may not replace breathing or meditation, but it brings the body back into a place of importance that meditation alone does not do in our society that ignores/denigrates/tolerates bodily reality. It seems too simple, but practice it and the body responds to it. Amazing.

    I am so glad to hear you explain the basic concept and give credit to Jiro Murai and Mary B. Other videos I have watched do not credit these discoveries and would seem to imply they sourced it from their own creativity. Thank you.

    Hi Mea. Does holding the fingers drop blood pressure only while one is holding them or does it over time correct high blood pressure? Thanks.

    Thank you for this live demonstration. So as you go through the steps, where does the tension go ? does it release out of the body into the air ?

    • @Meahtube
      @Meahtube  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      All I know for sure is that the tension goes. You can think of it as leaving with each exhale. I do know that the combination of focusing on the sensation in the fingers while breathing more deeply is just part of it. The fingers themselves each have energy paths that support specific organ groups. In general it all adds up to shifts in blockages and tightness that moves out of areas and some is re-absorbed to be expelled through the breath and the rest can leave through the bodily fluids.

    Dear mea. Please tell me how many times in a day can we do this finger exercise

    • @Meahtube
      @Meahtube  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      sonam pattnaik there is no limitation on the number of times a day that this exercise can be done. You can also take longer than five minutes to complete this by counting for more breaths per finger if you want. Thank you for your question. Mea

    The calming effect happens just from paying attention to the breathing. Holding the fingers, I suspect, is a superfluous element.

    • @Meahtube
      @Meahtube  10 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Have you given some time to this yet? By focusing on the sensations in each finger and crossing over from one side to the other there is much more going on than the breathing aspect. Though I agree that the breath itself could be the largest factor involved by integrating each step more fully.

      holding you fingers one by one like that increases blood flow to the whole body.

    You talk lies. It surely cannot replace 1hour meditation.

    • @Meahtube
      @Meahtube  9 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      +Mithra Rostami - Hi. I heard someone say this after experiencing it for themselves. I also find it helps me and I find it as effective as meditation. However I am not saying it should replace meditation. It is simply another way to be in a peaceful, focused place. Also one can take longer than five minutes at it if one wants to.
