    If we go from jhelum to Mangla through Dina pass... there also is a village Nikodar.
    Can the weapon in hand of Ibex hunter be a Crossbow instead of a Gun? In its lateral profile a crossbow looks like a gun.

    • @salmanrashid8880
      @salmanrashid8880 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Did we use crossbows in the orient?

    • @DRZISHANAHMAD
      @DRZISHANAHMAD 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      crossbow were not invented or used by orientals... but mongols and turks were definitely familiar with its use in 12th century... it may also be a link with Nakodar. BANDOOQ was in a very primitive form in early 1200. and less likely in use on large scale. and IBEX may be an ALTAI IBEX... an other link with MONGOLIA....it is just my personal thought. Sir.

    • @salmanrashid8880
      @salmanrashid8880 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DRZISHANAHMAD I don't agree with the crossbow. There is no significant arch in the weapon the man is holding. It is clearly a 16th century jazail.

    I have been to Cambridge museum of Archeology , there is no such plate from baluchsitan .though they have more than 100 ar horological artifacts form baluchistan in their collection.. All donated in 1950s.again searched their catalogue but no such things there.. Will continue my search to locate them elsewhere .the said architect works in London as a deputy of aan architecture and history conservation firm. Adnan

      Nice to know that she exists. But the allegations remain even if the plates are not on display or recorded anywhere. I was amazed that in 1996 they remembered from six years ago.

      @@salmanrashid8880 Respectsble Salman sb. Oo they are in a museum here I am with a very heavy heart would say that they are atleast safe and possibility is that one day can be brought back. But as I follow you very regularly you must know the last outpost of Indus valley civilization in mand area. all the artifacts there have turned into rubble.
      There are so many sad stories.
      Anyhow just to give you an interesting piece of info. Nigodaries or their remnants were present to soem extent till late 19th century and they spoke a distinct dialect called moghol language. In 1962 prof . Schurman from Gottingin did an ethnographic survey named THE MONGOLS in Afghanistan. the monograph is extinct but he has mentioned fate ans subsequent amalgamation of theze people. But luckily we have a full morphosyntax of their language moghol by another German Micheal Weiers who after digging soem historical records and especially work of one R Leech from 1838.His book is Die sprache der moghol der proving Herat in Afghanistan.
