میرے سکول کے دنوں میں (1960s)سرکاری کورس کی کتابوں پر ماٹو یوں درج ہوتا تھا “ اتحاد تنظیم یقین محکم “۔ یہ لفظ faith کا کچھ ایسا غلط ترجمہ نہیں تھا کہ آپ اپنے نصب العین پر(انفرادی یا قومی) کامل یقین رکھتے ہیں۔ جناح کی تقاریر کئ یہ کتاب میں نے سکول میں ہی پڑھ لی تھی۔ اس کے ساتھ جناح پر دو اور کتب جو جی الانا (جو شاید پیار علی الانا کے والد تھے ) اور ایم اے ایچ اصفہانی کی تحریر شدہ تھیں بھی پڑھ لیں۔ یہ کتب میرے بڑے بھائ کی لائیبریری میں تھیں۔ نوعمری میں اس طرح کے مطالعہ کی اصل وجہ کورس سے شدید نفرت اور جناح کی ذات سے عشق تھا جس میں مشرقی پاکستان کی علیحدگی کے بعد بتدریج کمی آتی گئی۔ اُسی دور میں ٹیکسٹ بک بورڈ کی کتب پر اُن۔ کا اپنا لایعنی ماٹو بھی درج ہوتا تھا “امانت دیانت شرافت صداقت “۔ قصہ مختصر لفظ faith کا جو ترجمہ ضیاءالحق نے کیا وہ جناح کے بھی وہم و گمان میں نہ تھا۔

آپکی ایک ایک بات ایک ایک حرف بھرپور سچائی ہے , مگر سچائی اسکی گدھا خور قوم کو ہضم نہیں ہوتی ۔۔۔ ہم پوری دنیا کی لیٹرین ہیں

However, on the subject of 'Faith,' I'd like to add that while Islam emphasizes a strict regime and doctrine, both in its practical application and essence-which is highly personal, requiring one to be grounded or hold on to something to fully learn from or embody it-people on your side of the border have struggled to uphold even that. What other doctrines or disciplines could possibly influence them to carry the essence of this 'Faith (اعتماد)' into everything else.

I regret being born in an era where I can only witness a defamed, weakened Pakistan with a dog-eared ideology, blatantly looted by uniformed duffers. A very interesting episode Salman Ji 😊💖 All South Asians need to think about how our ruling elites manipulate history, for their own sordid ends, possibly Pakistani regimes have been more culpable but we must also not forget the present twisting and manipulation being carried out by the BJP regime in India, or for that matter the manipulation carried out by the now defunct Shaikh Hasina regime in Bangladesh. It's very important that the citizens, the public in these countries develop a habit of reading and critical analysis and they foster a broad-based national awareness of what earlier generations of leaders had in fact said and envisioned.

Zia ul Haq was an Evil for Pakistan beyond any doubt! Quaid's famous speech of 11 Aug 1947 where he said that Pakistan will be not a theoratic state its original recording at Radio Pak library was destroyed at Zia's instruction and then the change of wordings from original Unity,Faith and Discipline started! Unfortunate indeed!

Here Maududi's concern was promoted. So far, no one has told us what the reasons were behind it. Why was the resolution presented, what was its purpose? Can we become one nation with this?

Azad Hind Fauj’s motto was ‘Ittefaq, Etmad aur Qurbani’. But what was Jinnah smoking when he said Pakistan will not be a theocratic state? After demanding a country in the name of Islam how could it escape Mullahs?
