- here i am again on a mission to find the best fake tanner for you! i have tested out 4 of my favourites and put them head to head to test out the colour, tone & longevity and of course all the pros and cons of each tan!!
I've tested ST TROPEZ, BALI BODY, COCO & EVE to see which self tanner really is the best! let me know who you think is the winner.

My favorite is the bali body 1 hour express. It never gets patchy on me and the tone is deep and very natural.

Omg this video just made my day thank you !! I put on the coco ultra dark for the first time ever about an hour ago and it looks a little blotchy and I’m freaking out so I searched to see if it’s good. Your video was the first I clicked on because you never let me down before on a self tan video :)@so I feel so much better!! With tomorrow being Vday and I’m wearing a red dress for the night that shows allot of skin this girl can’t be blotchy !! ❤❤
I never rinse off my tanners lol I have had the best results with bali body but yeah I apply after showering and typically wait as long as possible to shower again 😜 very cool comparisons though!
I personally use the coca and eve one and i have never had any cons, aside from the smell. My arms tan so fast so i use it on my legs and it makes it match :)
The bali body 1 hour express is really olive tone when you apply it so I was suprised when you said it is pink and leaned to the orange side. I also swatch compare them with dripping gold ultra dark which is a red undertone and the diferense is huge!
Also, it is the only tan that never gets patchy. It fades so well! I sleep in it and the result color is a dark, neautral brown with a hint of olive. I have pink undertone skin btw.
This video was great I just wanted to say my opinion and my experience since this is the second time I ordered this tan and I used it all summer. :)
I’ll definitely have to try the dripping cold ultra dark and compare that one too. I definitely thought it was more pink and warmer undertone. Of course that could just be what it looks like on my skin tone 😅
@@jasminehomden I swear when I apply the bali body express next to the dripping gold, the bali body looked sooo green 😅 I wish I could show you a photo. Its not warm on my skintone at all but I get that it looks different on your skintone.
I love trying new tans and watching how others experience a tan I like and I find all your tan videos to be really useful. I also have watched some of your other videos.
Since I know how much you love self tanning, I recommend you to try the Sunkissed tan mousse in ultra dark. It smells so good, it very affordable, long lasting, doesnt make my sheets dirty and dries quickly! I dont know if you tried it or heard of it it is a UK brand. The color is stunning! Im in love.

I love coco and Eve. Great for a deep tan and the minimum development time is 2 hours! Not bad ay 😅

Have you ever looked into Ehlers Danlos Syndrome? Just heard you mention you are really being and EDS gives you stretchy, thin, fragile skin where you can easily see veins. It can cause multi systemic health issues/frustrations. I have hypermobile EDS. Feel free to ask any questions of you have them

I'm definitely a cranky old man, so I'ma say that unless and until you've slathered a color all over your body, and see it against all your hair, your eyes and brows, nails, wtf your knees look like, how it tints imperfections and lines and wrinkles... you really have no idea how it will actually look on you or weather your days. That's my crank, but this bit is actual science: looking at swatches of colors next to other similar-but-different colors literally distorts how your brain perceives each of them, you can't perceive accurately. All I'm saying is, until you know, you don't know, and if you want to know what how a given skin tint is going to play out, you have to commit allll the way. Now please excuse me, I'm off to figure out which color I'm stupid enough to commit to...

I am so pale I have to buy huge bottles of sunscreen in the summer. The sun is terrifying to me and it sucks because I LOVE the beach
When you say it smells is it only before you wash it off or can you smell it the whole week?

How about clothes transfer? That’s my biggest issue with finding a self tanner. I wear so much light colored clothes in summer and always get tanner on them🥴😩
Did u ever find a tan that doesn’t transfer ? I have the same problem lol
@@gabz9436 you could always use one with no base colour, or get one of those onesies for tanning in. I just later up with clothes cause I like having the guide colour.
I bought a water based one through st. Tropez and it doesnt transfer
But did you put some Moisturizer to make it less patchy and last more?
I have used moisturizer religiously with self tanners and have still had horrible patches during fading.

I'm fair olive toned. so glad i watched this and decided to not go with coco and eve I'd look like Shrek lol

@Libbielibbie hi! So I use loving tan!! It's got olive undertones! I used to use the mousse but switched to the gradual tanner and I'm in love. No streaking and so natural!

Being very white and pale myself, i can answer you to this. If I am going out without wearing makeup, everyone will believe that I am sick. Even the doctors are concerned when I am dealing with any. I look like a dead body 😂. So yes, please give me some darker tone for my skin, without damaging it, so I can look more alive and healthy.
