That said, I think the biggest part of the problem is that FO4, at least, is built as an RPG that's intended to have a level cap, which you can see in how perks relevant to most playstyles cap out at about level 40-45. After about level 50 or so, the player's damage really starts plateauing, but the NPCs' health values keep going up and up alongside the player's, so what _could_ feel balanced ends up being horribly underpowered. Then you add in DLC that's, for all intents and purposes, meant to be played towards the endgame or even postgame (since a number of people beat the game around level 40-ish and Nuka World starts at level 30) and everything in the DLC is balanced around those endgame levels and you get absolutely borked damage values. I've actually had the idea (like plenty others before me) and even plotted out how to rebalance the weapons based on actual ballistic data, but I've just never gotten around to it because I have no idea how to get started on something like that. Especially since I want to add in new calibers with their own models.

No more people able to take a .50 AP round to the chest or head and still have half a healthy bar left, bc that's bullshit. Also no more being able to be damaged when being shot in the chest with a 9mm or 10mm pistol when wearing a fuck load of thick steel metal that is power armor. Having similar rules be set with mele weapons would also be amazing. But honestly there'd need to be a really fast loading and easy way to just make the game reverse your progress by 5 or 10 seconds when you die - seeing as it'll be much more often with a realistic weapon ballistics damage overhaul - otherwise playing the game will get old fast lol. And I do know of both ballistic mods and damage modifying mods that are pretty good. But what I mentioned would be a mod that I imagine would take a master script writer and modder to create, and I'm not expecting that any time soon lmao. But I'll be there for it if it actually does happen.
Remember to get all 3 different versions of the Thompson on this list and get the Submachine Gun texture replacer so you can be SUPER confused when playing Fallout 4

Before you buy one just go mess around with the newegg pc builder tool. It will allow you to pick compatible parts and show the total price. Once you get the compatible parts it is just about as easy to put together as an IKEA table.
He puts so much work into his videos, from the jokes to the mod searching to the time it takes to make them. It kinda hurts knowing he isn’t getting the amount of recognition he deserves for his hard work I want him to blow up and do super super successful. It’s what he deserved for his hard work and dedication.

Unfortunately I had to work on a project but I didn't want to neglect Baters so I had this on in the background while I was working. You have not lived until you are in the middle of a boring spreadsheet and behind you Baters shouts, in a really suggestive way: "I'm gonna shoot!" You will laugh yourself silly.
I do this obsessive thing with my Fallout weapons where I need to give them an immersive, accurate name when I pick them up. I legit cannot move on with the game until everything I have is appropriately named. Armor, too! Gotta use lore friendly companies whenever possible, and make up the rest based on existing weapons. Even the vanilla weapons that dont have official designations. Gotta have a manufacturer, a model number/ project name, and end with with what specific kind of weapon it is. I google to find out what the closest real world counterparts are, and improvise the rest. Example: A Bozar sniper rifle mod weapon is really a Walther WA2076 Bozar Battle Rifle. A hunting rifle vanilla weapon is a Winchester XPR Renegade SR Precision Rifle. I'm not even close to a weapons expert, but I do my best. Whew! Feels good to get it all out. Also, all the weapon mods I use absolutely must have LL integration or I can't enjoy them, no matter how much I love them. Like that Rem92 Lever Action, I love it so much, but no LL. OH! One of my favorites I've come up with. The Officers Plasma Revolver mod is a Glock R74-OI Plasma Revolver. The OI is "Officer Issue" and it makes for a neat backstory if you craft it right away. AND the RAW Launcher mod is actually the Yuma Flats Energy Consortium O87- MC Megiddo SMAW Missle Launcher, where O is "Opus" and MC is "Multiple Configuration".

If you put a better stock on the anti material rifle and put a long ass barrel on the ax 50 you will notice they look very similar and when I looked it up I found out that the ax50 became real in 2010
I'm sorry, but if I didn't say this, the gun nut in me would get very ticked off, but it's just a small gripe over the 2nd Thompson mod. Since the Thompson Submachine Gun is an open bolt full auto, you would have to let the trigger go forward right after you run out of ammo and the hammer resets to prevent the bolt from slamming home after you're done shooting the magazine, so logically, unless you could count each round out of the barrel and let off the trigger the millisecond you're out, the bolt should slam home and you'd have to recock it. Again, a small gripe, but one easily noticeable to anyone who knows a lot about guns, but I won't hold it against the mod author, its a simple mistake
