How much watt output for the coverter to run the 4 aqtuators,

@@Snakkers I would suggest getting a minimum 3000watt power converter, to be able to handle peak power needs, and avoid overheating. Usually these servos draw from 40watt (not moving) up to 900watt on my rig (in fast motion up). But if you can find get a 5000watt one, they are cheap ($165 here)...

Nice and interesting video mate...! Just one doubt keeps me thinking about power in 110V Vs 220v, Les power meant Less velocity? less weight management? less acceleration responses?

@@TPont7089 just less noise and max motor RPM down to 2500RPM, instead of the 3000RPM on 220v. I didn't see any other side effects. Now if your rig is "overloaded" you perhaps should run it on 220v, even via power converter like I did, just so you can deliver better the power to the motors.

@@TPont7089 I have 49" curved screen mounted on the rig, still has no struggles moving it along my weight on 110v. Power wise it consumes on average 100watt for all 4 actuators (peaks more when lifting the load on the rig obviously, maybe up to 400watt)

@@tronicgr Got it mate! I'm in EU so 220v for me however, it's nice to know that my cockpit would be compatible with other Countries voltages... just in case ;)

@@tronicgr Hi Thanos, the videos are great, I just started the construction before you, so I already had the rig, which is very similar to yours. However, I saw the belt tensioner at your place, I'm almost ready, I'm just waiting for the engine to arrive. How safe is the belt tensioner, if I don't tighten the screws completely, can it give me some security if something really goes wrong? I have one more question, I have a strange error with one motor and I think it is the motor because no matter where I put it on another actuator, on another cable, the other driver always appeared on the same motor. The error is the following long usage trip, while I monitor with dn 2, everything is fine, but when I get into the parking position, unlike the other actuators, Al 06 will show a value of -200. In this case, I cut off the power, then I turn the power back on to 220 and everything is fine, no problem, I can play continue until I stop in the parking lot again. Any idea what could be wrong? I ordered a new motor without a driver, I hope it will solve my problem.

Oh damn, are those actuators really that loud when moving? I was looking at the eracing lab rs ultimate bundle but now i am terrified that my family will not let me drive in the living room ^^ thanks for your video!:)

I have srt80 actuators, actually the same as Rs with a little more range of motion. I'm just playing Dirt Rally with Ps Vr2 in the living room and it's a bit loud at night, the family is sleeping upstairs. They haven't woken up yet, but one thing is for sure if they wake up, it's not because of the simulator, but because I scream with joy at the teasing :).

@@ernolaszlo6066 Lol, that was a good one ^^ok, I'll try to check them out live somewhere before buying. There are also competitors, but they tend to be a lot more expensive.

@@Jan-1337 Yes, you won't find anything cheaper than them and you also get a 3-year warranty if I remember correctly, unfortunately if everything is true there is no one who distributes it in the USA or Europe. Returning to the living room, Jan, you need a playroom. Of course, your wife says that it's a Work room. :)
