as a musicians it's shameful how little I listen to the variety of his cymbals. if I were asked how many cymbals does he use I wouldn't have been able to say. I got to start paying more attention!
Right....best cymbal I ever heard is on "rocks off" by the stones....Watts uses it sparingly for impact after mick's lines. A fancy humorous touch- propbably a poke at fancy english customs!....Fishman is a pro too!
They are, but must be used properly or the whole vibe is off...don't forget, cymbals have a long delay...kind of like ripples in a pond...amateur drumers love to bang and bang and bang...musical masturbation, and I am a musician since age 8 in 1968
