This review is the BEST I've ever seen of anything I've checked out a review for and I've watched a lot of reviews. Concise, inclusive of all the aspects and features, never a dull moment as the pacing is absolutely perfect. No chit chat or story time bullshit and no sponsorship ads thrown in at all. This video should be the "how to" of how to make a review video for anything. I'd be very impressed if there was any way you could improve on this video as it is already perfect. Superb job my friend!
Thank you so much for this! This is the most complete and well-organized overview I have seen yet on the Sony’s. You might have saved me some sadness as I was looking at a 6300 which I *thought* must be a better spec than the 6100. Boy was I wrong, especially as I am looking for video performance thanks again!
Great to see you again! I used to watch your videos constantly at the beginning of my TH-cam career when I was getting my first Canon mirrorless gear. Just this month I'm switching systems completely, for the first time since!
Regarding GPS: The a6100, a6400, a6500, and a6600 support adding location information if you've connected the camera to your phone's Imaging Edge app via Bluetooth. No need to pair every time, as long as your phone and camera's Bluetooth connection is on.
am on a6500 serious hobby ..am not bothered about battery life or video.... just stills.street, landscape ,wildlife...i was thinking to upgrade ..but after watching .. i will keep with a my a6500 .thank you you saved me money ..
You strip the cameras to their core and give detailed explanation of each! This is really very helpful since i am considering getting a Sony! Thanks again for this awesome video!
Hello again! Complete, concise, useful and thoughtful comparison/commentary on the Sony a6xxx lineup from a knowledgeable and trusted source. Great work TubeNoob. Thank you.
couldn't be better and more clear comparison than that....excellent work...I have to mention a couple of short mistakes though....sony/zeiss 24 1.8, does not feature oss....and a6300/a6500, feature eye af....it's just a bit less advanced than the newer one, but it's still working great...big thanks again...keep it up!!
Damn sony menus....didn't find it in the regular menus and didn't think you would have to set it to a function button to use it, becaue it defaults to off. 24 f1.8 is a plain mistake though.....damn... Thanks for letting me know though!
@@Mark10ProVideo don t worry brother....it took me almost a year to find out how it works, and it happened accidentaly...i don t understand though, why sony decided to "hide" this feature this way...maybe in order to be able to sell it as something new with the updated models...anyway...after all, i can tell you for sure that i don t miss anything from my a6500, that the new models can offer....anyway, for video i use mainly the nx80 semi pro camcorder which is excellent, and only occasionally my cameras, so photo is my main use and as such i am sticking with a6500, until the next real revolution in aps c-no intention to go ff... ps. after you assign a button for eye af, you need to keep it pressed, while you press the shutter button, at the same time

Watched this video and it pointed out something that I hadn’t picked up on in many other A6x’s videos, well put together and comprehensive. Great thanks.
This is the most informative video i have seen in over the last month of watching hours of video about camera features . I am just starting in sports videoography and you helped me understand why i should go with the a6400 thank you so much . You definitely got me to subscribe . I really appreciate you going into detail and getting to the point i find too many go on and on about how they feel about something
Exactly the video I needed to watch! I was confused between all the models & needed to buy a camera for video for client work. You saved me from getting the wrong camera! Ordered an a6600 off the back of this. Thank you! Love the style and energy of your videos.
you just cleared all the confusion my mind was swinging between a6400 & a6100 but now i kow what to do pls do a comparison between Panasonic G85 and a6400 if possible
Great video, thank you. I was looking at an upgrade, but I think I will keep my a6300, maybe get the a6500 :-). I just wanted to add, the a6300 does have eye auto focus, which you assign to a button. There is also a sunny mode for the screen as well, for stills, unsure about video though.
I just got the a6100 n the sigma 16mm a week ago. such n amazing setup the image quality and that auto focus makes it hard for me to pull out my gh4(a camera that I love) n use it. By far the best broken down analysis of the A6 range cameras. Would appreciate if you could do the same to the Sony A7 full frame series cameras in the near future. Specifically A7iii A7rii A7riii and if the A7rii autofocus in both video and stills would be worth it in 2020 on a Budget. Appreciate it! New sub here.

You sir are a gold standard in TH-cam reviews! Learned so much from you, thank you!
Doesn't the a6100 have the standard 29/59 recording limit? 3:29
Jed Clark no it doesn’t
Last as long as battery will last
That feature of having unlimited record time is in all the new models
I ran it for almost 100 minutes straight until I stopped it. No rec limit.
Best Sony apsc review ever. Helped me narrow it down to the 6400 vs 6100. Top notch content
This is the best conclusive vid about the a6000 series! Well done , no bullshit straight to the point !
Will there be any video quality difference b/w a6400 & a6600 ? Like in sharpness or dyanmic range ?? Coz I think a6600 is a bit overpriced.
Same sensor, same color science. Should be pretty much indistinguishable from one another.
