I bought an 08 Yz450F this spring and it needed some TLC. Your fork rebuild vids along with the FCR carb rebuild video have been a huge blessing for me! Keep up the great work!
Thanks for this video. I have a question. I have a 450 with less than 50 hours on it and just want to put heavier springs and do the seals. I don't see why I need to bother with the inner chamber and bleeding and everything why not just leave it alone and just replace the outer chamber oil. Also, is the inner chamber oil and the outer chamber oil the same? Thank you in advance really appreciate it.
I've been doing that for a while with my registration I use a fluorescent light protector super cheap does the same thing get it at your local big box hardware store
Beta Sachs closed cartridge forks from my '17 300 race look pretty dang close to that SSS design. I learned to collapse the rod while putting in the cartridge and cap. Getting that cap on is always a turd. Thanks.
You should have talked about the correct orientation of the washer and seals they can be installed backwards I had to redo after more research my ocd doesnt leave me alone if i dont know for a fact it was done correct the first time.
No, it’s weird. I just got mine And I got some like that and some like normal. The green ones were temporary ones til the end of July. I don’t know what the heck is going on with the state.
Those are the non-registered stickers. Does your bike have a plate? I bet it does. You can buy those anywhere you buy a hunting or fishing license. You are legal, but not registered if that makes sense. You will not get a renewal for next year, you just have to buy another one.
