- On a typical grey miserable mid summers afternoon in the Scottish Highlands, I realised that paradise doesn't have to be tropical. Surrounded by the raw beauty Berneray has so much of than really seems fair…..what more could I have asked for?

Wonderful vlog and beautiful shots Dean. I must get up there one day from Manchester
Thank you for this wonderful journey. Love the photo's. The first photo with the separation is my favourite.
Mine too! Thank you for watching, it is very much appreciated.
Super video Dean, the images were amazing, for the shots of the cottages, I prefer the first one. 😊
I agree Graham, the 1st one is my preferred one. Thank you for watching and taking the time t comment - your continued support is very much appreciated.
Another great vlog Dean, prefer the first image
Thank you very much….its a wonderful location and I agree, I prefer the the elevated position and the separation between the houses and the land behind.
Particularly liked the last one
It's a beautiful Rockpool…which isn't always there but thankfully has been for the past month or so. It's a gorgeous location.
Another great video (or show) !
i enjoyed it again. I liked the first picture with the houses the best. I really like the photo with the rock pool in the foreground because of the color contrasts! enjoy your onward journey!
Thank you for watching this episode David ….. I prefer the 1st image as well, with the separation. So important to create that depth we see with our eyes and transfer that onto a 2D format.
Ill be on Harris and Lewis for a few days in October cant wait to get back therr
Hope you have a great time…..I'll be there end of Sept, the 1st of 6 winter workshops there…looking forward to it…Dean
Mislaid my comment somewhere 🤷♂️
Anyways, splendid video sir you had me at 65x24.
Have shared you on that Vero so more people might enjoy it.
So happy to find your channel this evening 🙏
Hi Matt….thank you for watching and taking the time to comment - it is much appreciated. No problem with sharing it. The more the merrier. Dean
Save some of that great weather for my trip across!! 🤣
Deal! Let's hope for some good photographic weather…it'll be a great experience for you to see the beautiful Hebrides. Looking forward to meeting up with you very shortly.
Hi Dean, always enjoy your content as I too love the Hebridean landscape. I wonder whether the photo of the triangular rock pool might have looked good in black and white? Regards Andy
Hi Andy - thank you for your comment. I think B&W could work (I'll try it) - mainly because the water was quite murky. I photographed the exact same photo in March and the water was crystal clear and colour definitely worked. But you could be right…I'll take a look. Thank You. Dean
First picture was better. Although, I do like the perspective of the second. Pity about the separation.
I agree Neville….I prefer the 2nd one. I'm back there in a few weeks, I'll see whether there is a compromise somewhere between the 2 viewpoints….Dean
@@deanallanphotography I did wonder what it would look like if you dropped the camera much lower. Just a thought.
