I own the submariner watch, bought it in Iran in 1978. Still in perfect running condition. Now I can do a little research and hopefully find out what what she is worth.

Absolutely LOVE that Breitling. Though don’t think I’d want to take it to the beach. Ultimate one and done for mine: Rolex Datejust. Best bang for buck: Tudor black bay GMT.

The desperation to have a watch for all occasions. This is my beach watch, this is my watch for washing the car; this is my watch in case I need to assist with birthing a cow.
It’s ok to not wear a watch sometimes. I wear a watch 98% of the time and when I’m doing something that could potentially damage it (outside of the normal risk of daily wear damage) I just don’t wear one.

In my humble opinion I think the Rolex gmt master 2 116710 or any gmt master 2 is a very good watch. It is sporty, good looking and you can wear with a suit. I have I owned my for 5 years now and it will always be my favorite 😌. I never get bored of the layout the hands and bezel.

I bought exactly that datejust and wore it daily for 5 years the only niggle was that sometimes at a quick glance you could confuse the minute and second hands, when I moved it on I gave it to my son who tends to years later still wears it. Rolex can’t kill it with a stick!
I want to like the IWC, but they’re so skimpy with the lume, especially for a pilot’s watch.
Not skimpy with the asking price, though. If it were half the price, I might at least think about it.
@@jpdemer5 Four words: Five Day Power Reserve. That ain’t cheap, especially with the movement still running at 4hz, so I’ve no problem with the price.
Ι could agree only for the Aquatera and Conquest. I am not so sure for all the rest that they match the same for ocassions like a wedding or out for a drink to a bar up to a beach or a mountain. You forgot to mention the most versatile watch out there Rolex Explorer and the most versatile chronograph watch OMEGA Speedmaster.

The Sub is better than the Datejust primarily for the Glidelock bracelet. Also the timing bezel and way better lume and hands are a good thing.
Datejust is the Original No.1
Omega AT, Rolex DJ will always win. If not Cartier Santos, Tudor BB, then IWC MarkXX.
Some stunning watches; especially that gorgeous Longines Conquest the Cartier the JLC and the IWC.
I love the pistachio colour of the Breitling but I'm not taken with the watch itself.
That bezel on the Rolex datejust is just ostentatious ugliness. If you want a watch that screams "LOOK AT ME... AREN'T I SPECIAL". That's definitely the watch for you.
The Tudor could be stunning but is completely ruined by the square hands from a kids 'my first watch'.
What is wrong with the watch itself please explain expand with some explanation am referring to the breitling chronograph thanks in case you respond
@@stonemason4902 I don't really know; there's nothing in particular wrong with it it just doesn't speak to me. To be honest I haven't found a Breitling that does speak to me.

It’s too bad GS just can’t seem to figure out bracelets. They just don’t come close to matching the watch. It’s like they gave up just before they designed the bracelet.

One and done HAS to have minimum 150m water resistant. Thats why its called [One Watch] ⌚️ 100m just dosent let me enjoy my time in the water 💧
At least Heuer seems to be making better watches now. The worst thing to happen to Heuer was Tag.

many people assume Seiko's Grand Seiko 10 seconds variance error is only comes with modern era GS, actually not so , seiko achieved such accuracy for their quartz watches as early as 1970s or late 1960s .... e.g. in those Seiko Grand Quartz era (quartz watches which ....continue to exist after KS and GS (mechanical watches sub brands ) got cancelled...

Most of these are just dress watches. I would never bring a Grand Seiko to the beach to have it's polishing threatened. I won't bring a B01 anywhere near a body of water.
