I replaced the clasp with a generic one with 3 micro-adjusts. This caused some grief at the limit of my watchmaking skills, but once done, the watch fits much better now. Great watch.
I just bought the Hanhart 417es Flyback in reverse panda. Stunning watch and Hanhart are a really sympathetic company. Would be nice to see the brand more on this channel.
I didn't think I would be saying this, but right now, among the big names in the industry, Tag makes the best sub-40mm chronographs that aren't crazy expensive. You can't go wrong with any of the Glassbox offerings--the blue, the black, the Skipper, the Dato. Beautifully proportioned watches.
I bought the Speedmaster Racing 40mm, same movement as the 38mm. METAS certified Chronometer. Incredibly accurate, over a longer period, only gaining 42 seconds in 88 days (less than +0.5 seconds a day!). Absolutely gobsmacked. I also love the look and feel of the watch. It wears a lot thinner than the number suggests.
@@RobHWC me neither but it's such a stunning piece with a ton of history and a great quality watch.. if you don't mind the winding you should go for it. Well if you're able to get it, I feel like it's not gonna be an easy pick up.
got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on amzwatch 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.
I bought a seagull, Never had a Chrono, want to try the experience. I advice to do this experience before ape-in whatever Chrono that you tried. If you hate those vintage design and vibes you can go with Baltic/lorier. You may already achieve what you are looking for. You can try how it is to have an hand wind watch, a Chrono complication and a compact watch as well.❤ Thanks teddy
have the coax hesi Speedy and a 6.5 inch wrist, and can confirm: it wears fantastically. The 42mm width is due to the asymmetrical case to protect the pushers, and it's short l2l makes it fit very nicely on smaller diameter wrists.
I have the 116500 Panda but I have so much respect and admiration to the Zenith Chrono line. The Chronomaster Sport would've been my 2nd choice if I wasn't so enamored with the Daytona.
Totally agree about the Speedy size. If you include the crown when measuring the diameter, it's 42mm. The dial is only about 33.5mm so the watch wears lot smaller than the specs suggests. I have a 6.75" wrist and the Speedy wears perfectly on my wrist.
Great video! I have small wrists and have been contemplating getting a chronograph! Another micro you should have included is Kurono Tokyo - they have some really cool chronographs in 38mm.
100% agree on the Speedy Pro. I have 6 5/8” wrist and when the new bracelet came out it was a game changer. It just hugs great. If you want a Speedy but are a victim of advertising and have excess cash… go for the Daytona. (Though the new Speedy White may just dethrone the Daytona hype). But if you want a Speedy on a budget the Seiko SSC813 is awesome. It’s a strap monster IMO.
Living in the neighborhood of Hanhart and Junghans I will check out the mentioned models - because the TISSOT PRS516 automatic is far too large and visually "loud" on my wrist... I need definitely a smaller one... - And I can confirm your selection of the Speedmaster Prof. with 42mm - it fits perfect! It isn´t that large. It wears perfectly and not bulky and large as expected by the data. Thank you for your entire effort and contribution with your YT channel!
I’ve got the Hanhart 417ES Teddy, being a true Steve McQueen nut!🤪🤣 It’s a stunning watch to look at & wear! Very happy with it!👍🏼 I did buy a 20 year old Omega Speedy several years ago & it’s my favourite in my collection. The pistachio Breitling is a stunner to me!
Uhh, together with date this is the most useful complication in the watch industry. I love it. I have 3 chronographs. Seagull 1963 sapphire crystal, swan neck regulator, Bulova Lunar Pilot, Aztorin Chrono (boutique brand in my country - a wife's gift).
I’m a big chrono fan. They constitute the majority of my collection. Agreed with speedmaster moonwatch big very easy to wear. One you are missing is the JLC master chronograph calendar. This is the most comfortable and enjoyable chronograph to wear
Thank you Teddy. The Zenith Chronomaster chronographs are the best, all things considered. The El Primero movement is possible the most significant integrated automatic chronograph movement in the industry.
Gotta mention Heuer CS3111 - i know cheating bc vintage but 36mm chrono! The OG case from 1964 (or was if 63 😂). The best chrono for any 6.5 or smaller wrist. Strap monster, dial options. Movement that turned into 3861…. What’s not to like. Great work as always teddy
Tried on both the Speedmaster 38 and the Pro at my AD today. Agree with Teddy that the Pro wears much better on my small wrist because it is thinner and wears smaller than a 42.
I just received my Pitzmann III. Beyond being really stunning the case design seems to have been set up to wear really compact - cleverness with case back and lugs. I have a 6.5 inch wrist and normally stay below 38mm; the Pitzmann Chrono wears better on me than the Tudors and Longines I have tried.
Teddy, once again another amazing video! For a future video idea, can you make one talking about the tidbits of watches as in how come some watches will switch dates right at midnight vs some that switch 5mins later etc. I think these little tidbits compiled into one video with your narration would be really cool!
Exactly the market I’m in for a watch atm. Done a ton of research is a 6.5 inch wrist eliminates a lot of chronos. I’d add the omega speed master 57 and the breitling classic avi.
Figure that these excellent videos take at least a week to prepare, shoot, and edit. Production values are great and TB has earned his million followers. So inevitably, sh*t happens -- like dropping a big review of chronographs on the exact same day that Omega announces the great white Daniel Craig Speedmaster. Which at a 42 might not qualify for small to medium wrists, but I am hoping you review soon. Great work, Teddy.
Wow... this green dial Breitling is such a beauty😘 especially with this brown leather strap! But i think it works best if your shirt/sweater/jacket will complement this beautiful light green in a way. Like the shirt in the vid👌🏼 The blue TagHeuerCarrera is also really beautiful 👍🏻
I really wish Omega didn't discontinue the 40mm Speedmaster RACING. I was ready to pull the trigger on one just before Covid. It was the one that got away! 😢
7in wrist and looooove my Gemini Nero. Very tempted to get the white dial Speedmaster, but every time I’ve tried them on I haven’t loved the size… might try to get the LE 57 instead 🤷🏻♂️ great video as always
I am really drawn to the Brew Metric. What a good looking piece and a good price too. Has a splash of 1970s style with its TV case yet it is still very up to date. Lovely lovely lovely 😍.
There are lots of Chrono choices. I would say the Seiko Prospex is my affordable choice followed by Tudor, then Omega Speedmaster is my intermediate choice, followed by the Rolex Daytona on the high end.
I remember Teddy saying that he would never wear a Rolex... Something I sort of liked as it placed him as someone that throught about the craft in a very analyzed and individualistic way. Now..... rolex is often there.
Hi I really like your videos and I think they are informative and educational, that said a lot of you videos relate to small to medium wrist sizes. I feel that we, the guy with a 7.5 to 8.00 " wrist size are left with little choices. I have tried a tudor black bay and a 39 mm size watch looks really small to me. Maybe that's a trend, but I don't think I'm alone in this. Please make more videos for people like me and as always I'm grateful for all the information you share. Congratulations on your new store.
Teddy. I have a question for you. Why are Damasko watches almost never discussed or brought up in any of the watch communities or channels? They are a German watch making manufacturer who made cases for Sinn watches. They make some of the arguably nicest and most robust watches on the market at very good prices. I wish they would be included in lists such as yours. I own a DC 86 and love the watch!
I was so sure Teddy was going to mention the Studio Underd0g Watermelon chronograph when he was talking about ST19 caliber. Especially because it was available to pre-order today.
Is the wrist size listed at 2:16 accurate? That doesn’t seem like a small/medium wrist measurement and doesn’t look accurate to the size shown in the video.
I had the Speedy Pro but it was too big for my 6,75” wrist. I have a Reduced now. Much better looking IMO. I wish it looked exactly like the Pro, though.
Love your videos and have had very satisfying buying experiences from your web site. The shame is you do not carry some of the watches you recommend. And they end up being very difficult to find.
Very surprised not to see JLC mentioned here. What about the Master Control Chronograph Calendar? 40x12 dimensions feels like it fits the bill here quite nicely, and I suspect Teddy would be a big fan of this watch.
I love your videos Teddy. What are your feelings about ultrasonic jewelery cleaners to clean watches? I have one and it says it can be used to clean watches. It came with a watch stand. Ps ..... I have a Orient Kamasu Gen2 with a Strapcode bracelet that replaces the stock bracelet. I love wearing it. ❤❤❤❤. I can't believe how accurate the time is for a inexpensive watch. It doesn't lose many seconds a day. Keep up the great videos. Cheers
Why have your videos been exactly in line with my current plans? WHERE ARE YOU HIDING THE CAMERAS TEDDY
Literally same. Been admiring the Breitling B01 and Zenith Chronomaster Sport for a couple weeks now, and boom, out comes this video.
...... right
Same with me hahaha
Teddy knows all he is the alpha and the Omega of horology.
Me too.
Releasing this right as the white lacquer dial speedmaster comes out is crazy timing haha
Right as the white Speedy is announced? What a timing haha
Seiko Prospex Speedtimer SSC813 for me is the best!
I put a jubilee bracelet on mine and get compliments all the time
@@Dev-zm3se Interesting. Do you recommend a particular store to buy that jubilee bracelet?
I replaced the clasp with a generic one with 3 micro-adjusts. This caused some grief at the limit of my watchmaking skills, but once done, the watch fits much better now. Great watch.
I just got one…couldn’t agree more. It’s wonderful!
100% agree with the 42mm speedmaster professional. All has to do with the shorter lug to lug.
Nivada Grenchen 😍
I just bought the Hanhart 417es Flyback in reverse panda.
Stunning watch and Hanhart are a really sympathetic company.
Would be nice to see the brand more on this channel.
I have the same watch in 39 mm and it is a very nice fit on my 6.75 inch wrist.

I absolutely adore my Seiko speedtimer SSC913p1 fits perfectly well on my wrists.
Me too. Great watch. Just the right size. Highly recommend.
Omega just released a white dial speedy.. it looks beautiful imo
I had never been a fan of a chronograph watch, but the white dial speedy is so stunning that I might consider getting one…
@@RobHWC me neither but it's such a stunning piece with a ton of history and a great quality watch.. if you don't mind the winding you should go for it. Well if you're able to get it, I feel like it's not gonna be an easy pick up.
@@paciskinghistory? it just rolled out of a factory, it didn't go into space lol
That Breitling hits all my buttons at once.
Same. The only button it doesn't hit is my wallet😂
never would have thought the Speedmaster would fit small wrists. Having the same wrist size as Teddy, I'm tempted now.
Citizen Calibre B612, becomes my favourite since I bought my own first watch
got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on amzwatch 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Seiko works for my budget.
Thanks
The Junghans Max Bill is one of the most beautiful watches I've ever seen.

I just feel you missed out the Navitimer B01 in 41mm.

You nailed this video, totally looking for a new watch... a chronograph... I have a 6.5 in wrist
Timex marlin chronograph is magnific! 👌🏼
in the 40s and 50's chronographs were routinely 35mm and smaller. Know your history, and look to vintage for answers to a lot of questions.
I really like the chrono look but cannot see me ever needing the chrono capability. Seiko for me. And the Alpinist if I can find one
Blimey - that Hanhart is stunning for the price. Be good to see a review Teddy, and perhaps a distribution deal for your new store :-)
Is the wrist size listed at 2:16 accurate? That doesn’t seem like a small/medium wrist measurement and doesn’t look accurate to the size shown in the video.
Enjoyed the video! Even though i personally like chronograph watches the least. They are always so busy, to much going on for me personally
I'm liking that Longines Master more and more.
The Breitling Premier looks and wears like a dream
Great video, I think we were all asking for this
I love Brew designs, definitely on my bucket list
Great options!
The Speedmaster Professional... Beautiful 🥹🔥👀
I had the Speedy Pro but it was too big for my 6,75” wrist. I have a Reduced now. Much better looking IMO. I wish it looked exactly like the Pro, though.
New Tissot PR516 is rly nice, hope you make a video on it soon 💯
The Brew Metric really speaks to me. The steel variant is also beautiful, sadly both are sold out as of now :D
Love your videos and have had very satisfying buying experiences from your web site. The shame is you do not carry some of the watches you recommend. And they end up being very difficult to find.
Shocked the Carl F Bucherer Bicompax didn’t make this list. 40 mm, Lange style date window, plus an annual calendar…criminally underrated watch
I'm thinking for next year plan , thing of an IWC pilot or Breitling Navitimer 41mm, defently less them 14mm thickness
Hamilton Intra-Matic chronos are also quite wearable despite their thickness, like the Junghans
Very surprised not to see JLC mentioned here. What about the Master Control Chronograph Calendar? 40x12 dimensions feels like it fits the bill here quite nicely, and I suspect Teddy would be a big fan of this watch.
The moonwatch professional really surprised the first time I tried it on. It wears smaller than my 39mm Longines.
Excited about 1M!
Advance congratulation
I cannot believe that you are suggesting us the best chronograph watches and you didn't mention the IWC chronograph watches!!! Seriously teddy !!!
Probably because lug-to-lug length is best for medium to large wrists.
That Longines is on point!
Sinn - adding to your reference that Sinn was an instructor pilot. He was a WWII luftwaffe instructor.
Love the chrono video. Wheres the large wrist love? A whole lotta small wrist bias on youtube. Not everyone looks good in a 36mm-38mm watch.
Canopus 321 Speedmaster, of course 😊
I love your videos Teddy. What are your feelings about ultrasonic jewelery cleaners to clean watches? I have one and it says it can be used to clean watches. It came with a watch stand.
