Beautiful! As always you did well. Do not know who selected the music for the video, but loved it. The only suggestion....use a dark marker when for the break down. Not a big issue for me. I watch videos for your vision.....

That is a particular look to be sure but it is beautifully done and I love it. It would be fun to see how she styles it and what she does with it. That would be fun if any of your customers would like to share your pieces or a picture of it in it's permanent place in the home. It would give us some expanded ideas and would be wonderful for yourself for a scrapbook or ideas for new customers to look at!
    Beautiful as always!
    Blessings

Lauren, I’ve been here since the beginning. You have always had the gift for teaching. But, you are really taking it to a new level. This video was flawless. Kudos to you and Neiman.

As a retired school speech therapist, I know $140 an hour is much more than you earn as a kindergarten teacher. 😁 It was a great idea to flip furniture in order to pay off your student debt, especially since it turned out that you are so good at it. Keep making beautiful transformations and teaching us the tricks along the way.♥️💛💙

I use the dot bumpers too! You can get the same little ones just like those but flat/thin so there’s a really minimal gap 👍🏻

I appreciate that you mentioned not knowing what is on the furniture that is thrifted and the importance of gloving up and scrubbing. I could add some detailed gross stories… but you already know.

Just in case you have particular clients in the future, if you want the "bumper stickers" to lay flat, you can get ones with a lower/ flatter profile (not as high so not as noticeable), or just use an exacto knife and the top off a bit. Then it will lay flat and no one will ever notice them.
    Looks good!

  • @kathymanthey2062

I love the black and stain together. I think black hardware would have looked nicer, but that is just taste. The one thing I did notice was with the tabs on the drawers from the side you can see a peek of the brown drawer. I would probably do a black trim on the drawers to mitigate that, but overall I think it turned out very nice.

The dresser turned out beautifully. I believe I would have sealed the piece with a matte sealer to further protect the piece from chipping, especially since it is being sold. I understand Dixie Belle is a great product but the sealing would add a layer of protection that as a buyer I believe I would prefer and probably expect.

Maybe paint a thin line of the black to cover the unpainted wood that shows on the drawers with the bumpers. Then it would be virtually invisible.

This turned out, absolutely beautiful! You are one talented woman! I’ve watched you over the years grow. I just recently ran across the video where you are now getting into the Airbnb business👍🤛👏! Congratulations🎉! If I may just mention one thing to you that has been a concern for me from the very beginning when I saw your videos. You use a lot of toxic chemicals. Yes, I’ve seen you wear a mask at times but anytime you take the cap off something that has those chemicals in it, you are inhaling them and my concern is over the years, it’s going to cause a lot of damage to your body. I am speaking from experience. I also have a brother-in-law that worked in a paint factory for many years and now has emphysema. Please don’t take this lightly or be offended. It’s not worth it to be sick after working in such an environment, especially if you enjoy it and are as good as you are. There is no way to avoid the chemicals in the line of work that you’re doing. If you went to OSHA and was fitted personally for an N95 mask, that may help. Please consider what I’ve just suggested.
