Wow, this is beautiful. As you mentioned when stripping, the wood was very delicate. And a previous owner loved this piece so much that they gorilla glued the leg together, put in dividers, and put new handles on it. They loved it, and you saved it so a new owner can love and cherish it some more. What a wonderful story.

No one trick pony here 🐎 lol.
Seriously I just love so many different styles and dabble in a number of forms of restoration woodworking and crafts that you’re definitely going to see a variety from me 😆.
Thank you so much for watching you rock 💚!

💚 Omg this is beautiful!!! It looked so rough at first I thought you’d go for paint. I see a lot of TH-camr reach for the paint on damaged pieces and the woodworker in me screams Noooo!!!! I love wood grain. I think for furniture there’s nothing more beautiful. Thank you for proving once again the life of this furniture is not over. That people can bring out that beauty. I just love this piece. So beautiful.

      Thank you so much ☺️.
I am not opposed to painting furniture I think it can absolutely give a second life to pieces that are heavily damaged and or not made of very quality wood. However I would never cover solid mahogany with paint no way. This one was a rare find in my area. Thanks for watching 💚

@@coloredcaboosecreations I’m not against painting just that with wood that beautiful how could you? I saw someone painting over locust wood once and I was almost in tears lol I couldn’t finish the video.
Would you recommend the feed and was in areas of high humidity?

Wonderful! 🤩 I started as an antique restoration apprentice at my local thrift store, where we save old pieces like this beauty from certain destrction. Seeing you work so skillfully with those tools was a pleasure. So good to see it from despondent to beautiful. I raised my eyebrows at your choice of adding the wheels, that was definitely 'original' haha. Thanks for teaching me about sanding and removing the gunk. I want to learn about that in my workshop too! 💚

Wow!! Just wow! I just became a new subscriber after watching this amazing transformation. You took it from junky firewood to a beautiful piece of furniture anyone would love to have in their home. I love how you handled the deep gouges and the the gorgeous wood oil finish.
