You can tell your an educator the way you explain all the steps your doing in detail. I believe this is why your channel is also a great success! I feel like I can tackle flipping some furniture pieces first for myself and later for profit. PS I got my first box of melange paint, brushes etc. I plan in painting a dresser for my sons daughter who just turned 5. Thanks so ugh Lauren and Nieman. Beautiful! I just did a small hutch with three drawers underneath and I painted it the midnight blue. I am not usually a fan of gold hardware of any kind. So I painted mine silver. But, after seeing the metallic gold you used I am going to re-do my hardware in Metallic gold. I love the midnight blue it is so beautiful. Great job with leaving the top two drawers natural and using big mamas butta. The entire piece is STUNNING. in case you actually read the comments I’m gonna tell you something that has helped me. When I sand I always use a microfiber cloth but then I follow it up with a tack cloth and you would be very surprised at how much sand dust that you pick up with that cloth after using a microfiber cloth. I’m not an expert I just do it for myself but this is what I have learned. Take care of yourself and continue on your wonderful journey.

I agree. I love that wood grain too. Maybe if ya couldn't save the top, paint it and keep the front drawers unpainted. Ya don't always have to paint. The market is getting saturated with chalk paint dressers. You can get one at IKEA for the same price.

While using protection, you might want to add ear plugs. I am grateful that I used them in my Air Force days, as those who did not are having issues age we are aging. The vacuum and sander, as well as other tools take a toll on your hearing. Looking great as always. Beautiful dresser and awesome end product. Thanks for sharing. Beautiful job. My grandma used to rub dove soap in drawer grooves to make them easier to slide. I've heard they have scented big mama's butter too. Love that midnight blue.

This dresser might have look good with a new base the same color as the raw wood w/Butta. Hey Lauren, happy to be seeing your first day of Chapter 2. The dresser is absolutely fabulous and could be used as an entry table or buffet or ? so many option with that particular paint/wood color combo.

Wow 15.00 🤗 the knobs are really cute. So excited to see these finds. I was given for Free a MCM table. That consists of three round moving mirrors. I researched the piece not knowing what I had. It is priced on some sites for over 300.00. I can’t wait to deep clean it and flip it! 🥰

A glass shop can recut your mirror to make use of the good part. Mirrors sell well on their own!
I haven't used the midnight blue yet. But I LOVE Fusion. It's my go to paint now. Loving the new colors they came out with.

Agreed, mirrored dressers are out. Sometimes you can reclaim the mirror if the frame is decent but if it chipped that easily it probably wasn't!
